Update 1.03 (Released - January 14th)

After completing the Nurburgring 24 Minute race in S-class events, turns out that the timed races bug is confirmed. It went like this:
-I was a good minute away in gap from the AI in first place
-After the timer ran out, I watched the AI cross the finish line 30 seconds later. One by one, my position was dropping until every opponent crossed the finish line, dropping me all the way down to last place at 16th.
-When I crossed the finish line six minutes later on my last lap, the music for last place played, but my position bumped all the way back up to first on the board. Everyone's gap was "1 lap"; I'm not sure if it's supposed to be +1 or -1, but it just stated "1 lap".
-When the game rewards me for completing the event, I get the 16th place prize at 50,000 which is with the 200% online login bonus.
...these once-functional events are now broken. I wonder if they affect every timed race within the game. In any case, PD needs to release a hotfix ASAP or they can expect more flak from users here on GTP and especially on the official PS boards.

First time trying to download the update, got the beep, PS3 restart and checking files.

The only way to manage it with the Enduros now is to not lap the back of the field.

Were there before, have been there since Day 1. I know that, because I've trained myself... In every lap of every race I run (including real life, where I learned the habit,) I look for a flag.

Is it confirmed that the custom rims tire width is fixed now? Anyone do testing ?

I'm convinced that PD fully understands how many features they have yanked out of the game. I think/hope they are putting it back together in order to protect against hackers. Again I don't know this for a fact. But how else do you explain them losing so many features? I really don't see them being that totally incompetent or uncaring.
Also the folks who put this together just are not stupid. There has got to be a method to the madness.
At least I hope so. Something is afoot and I hope they chose to give us an explanation one day soon.
One thing I noticed was the NSX did not suffer from the issue with MR handling. Can anyone concur?
I think to fix the tire size in thumbnail view try "Update Car Image" in the garage.
Finally does everyone know the method to run the update is explained at the Grand Turismo web site?👍

My PS3 is ****ing destroyed. I kept trying to update from 1am to 3am and NOTHING works. I did what PD said to do, the download finished with no problem, then it when it was installing it gave me an error and sent me back to 1.00 with corrupted data. All my replays are gone, and to make matters worse the 1200mb update kept crashing 10000 times. When it finally did go into the 99mb update, it installed and gave out the SAME ****ing error. I've used up my internet data's limit, and now I can't play the ****ing game online OR offline because my save is on the BMW M4 which freezes 1.00. ****ing hell what the **** do I do? I followed PD's instructions, they don't work.
The only way I could possible play offline now is if I keep trying the 1200mb update again and when it starts the 99mb one, I cancel it. **** that.

Does the damn thing freeze while it's downloading or installing??????
