Well, higher payouts are better than lower payouts, that's for sure, that's how life works. As stated millions times -> one week (or several) of grinding is not the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problems are
1. that the payouts were superbadly balanced before the patch, and instead of adjusting the low-paying stuff the gutted the best way to earn credits (think for a second why they would do that - you might find the conclusion)
My point is the payouts in terms of Cr/min are in line with those in GT6, being the prices of equal or less (Rally Cars or Gr. 1 LMP1 are half price than GT6), it's concluded that PD makes hard to grind just to spent real money.
The payouts are at the same level of top payouts with the releases without microtransactions and the car prices are lower or similar.
If they would like to make us spent real money, they would only need to pump the prices of cars you would need for Sport Mode, FIA Championships and so. That doesn't happen. It's not like FIFA or anything like that, where you need to spend money in card packs to have decent players to play online, because the baseline players are just terrible.
Grinding for money isn't harder or slower than in other GT games, that's a fact, not a matter of opinion.
The Fisherman's race had a better payout/minute than the best grind possible in GT Sport and has now similar payout/minute to the best grind possible in GT6 or GT5.
