And multiple people drooling over brake calliper sand numbers. :gtpflag:

I keep telling myself that it IS the little things which count... but those little things are just a little too little, imo.

It was a hefty update though, so maybe there's more to it than number stickers and colourful calipers.

Videos and perhaps Zararah, planned for DLC with the 100kb "key"

Annnd that's the fun part. Finding new stuff

It was a simple example of one of the things that could have been sorted out rather than adding crap that we just dont need. Weigh in all the games problems that need to be sorted and things that are much more needed like a simple dyno or better data logger ect ect ect , yet we end up with number stickers and painted calipers lol.

Its like my Series 1 RS Turbo having a blown turbo but instead of fixing it i go out and buy a new head unit ? The money could have been spent better else where .....

You dont even have a side view to see the calipers lol nothing but a wow dude look at your calipers colour its so nice ...

Your games being aimed at the younger generation who arent interested in physics or even cars but more just free running and messing around and its simple because thats where the majority of there sales come from .... Kids

Seen it happen to forza now watching GT follow suit.

We've all got things we'd like to see happen in the game, some are small, some are big. But greater vehicle customisation is always a popular subject, and please.. it's not just for kids - that's a stupid assumption, photomode-ers and online players will appreciate these changes I'm sure.

Also, It's more like you Series 1 RS Turbo having metric measurements written on it, instead of imperial ones... and instead of changing them, you decide to paint the calipers.

I'm all for a more advanced data-logger - actually not even that advanced, I just want an accurate/detail X-axis time & distance scale - but all these small updates add up to a better game, sometimes it will improve the areas you enjoy, sometimes it will improve the areas that others enjoy. "Palmed off again with crap" makes you sound pretty self-important.

Painted calibers, really...? As another person stated before, there are no side - viewing option while driving ( ...why would you be panning to look at the sides of your car while driving?), nor do we have spec-b, which if we did, I could see the point behind the hype for calibers being colored. I give 2 out of 10 for this update.

Eh hem... I forgot about the photo folks. Make that 5 out of 10

Going out on a limb and saying we will see the other .8GB of this update.

It's hefty because of two hi-def videos.

Yeh that is a good point but I'm still hoping there's more to it than that. I've yet to watch the VGT vids but I'm assuming they're both about a minute long or thereabouts. That equates to about 400-500MB of data in some peoples' estimates which leaves >1.5GB of reasons to be hopeful of more goodies.
It's also a possibilty that PD are sneaking in some of the other features that have been spoken about like the Track Creator. We'll see though.
