Why not upgrade your Hdd to 500GB or above for get more patch, games, and DLC?
Some of us feel its not worth it. I mean i looked up on the internet and its 40€ ($50?) a 160GB one and 75€ ($85?) a 500GB one. I mean the PS3 has not that much life left, I'd rather save the money to buy a PS4...
I've never had HDD space issues until GT5+GT6... All the other games that I've played dont have such massive data install and massive updates... 600 or 700MB at most... usually around 100MB or less...
GTA V was 8 GB of install but after finishing it I deleted it no problem.

Decided to do the Nissan VGT Seasonal Event first. I rolled through the camera angles to check the car out while driving around Tokyo and what did I notice? NO 🤬 INTERIOR!!! WTF, PD?!?!?!? Maintain your house!!! Who lets these VGT cars out into the public with no 🤬 interior???

The removal of off-throttle assist makes the Red Bull cars much harder to drive now, especially the Standard & Fan Cars. In the Standard Red Bull challenge if you lift at Apricot Hill's first double left hander it'll put you directly into a spin. So much fun :D:tup:

Also, it might just be me, but bumps seem to upset cars a lot more now. With ABS off you really need to be careful while braking. I drove the GT-R GT3 at Nordschleife to try and beat Kaz's 8.31 time from the "Rise after Falling" video, and I lost it a couple of times when braking. I drove 300-odd laps in this year's GT Academy so I'm familiar with the car, but it felt really different today. Might just be me a bit out of practice though - I've been playing Grid Autosport a lot lately.

With the custom numbers and the calipers, one would think that it'd be suited for specific race cars and production cars.

But one car got them both, being a decorated race car.

Yeah.

Really dont get why some people are so obsessed with detailed car interiors. They serve no purpose, they are only decoration and graphic detail.
OMG Y R U NT MAD BOUT DE INTERORS!!!???? GT7 SHOULD REMOVE STANDRDS SO NO PEEPLE HAV 2 PUT UP WIV DEM.
I'm joking by the way. :D I don't care about interiors at all. I care for handling and what cars are there. If they look similar and sound like a car, I don't care. If it's feeling like it's driving on ice, I would complain.

Took about 5min to d/l and I would cry out loud if I had to wait like some members here for 30+min....
Installing as of now, but I cant even play when it'll be done!

I know. Even the exterior, is just decoration and graphic detail. They could just make all cars look like this:

and add 10.000 cars to the roaster.

My download problem is with Ps3 and PSn and PD.
My internet is 80 MBPS down and 18MBPS up ( realtime around 10MB down and 2MB up)
wifi accespoints (three in the house) deliver 27MBPS down and 18MBPS up
The PS3?? maxed out at wifi to 18 MBPS down and 6,5 MBPS up??

Screen shots from my Phone and Ps3.

My PS3 is the problem, on cable i got max 36MBPS down according to the network test from PS3.

Download time displayed by your PS3 does not match, it depends on what server you're connected.
As i could read, some people got a fast server, lots of us got a slower one, or get the error code.

good luck.
This is standard through all PS3's. The PS3's way of gauging speed and Speedtest's way are different. You've got the same speed. Don't fret.

No no no no... I don't fret ( fret? okay i know what you mean)
i wanted to explain why the downloads are slower then pc/smartphones and that also the servers are responsable.just forgot to mention that that's probably the reason with a lot of us.(or did i do that in another post?)

about the standard PS3 network thing, a bit dissapointed the first time, but that was when i noticed after installing it.( couple of years ago)

Exteriors are not decoration or graphic detail, they are 100% necessary, to know which car is it. Lol. Bad example, sorry

They do serve a purpose. They contribute to make the experience as close as possible to being in an actual car. In my case I always drive in cockpit view and I can't bear to watch the standard interiors, so I only drive premium cars.

Plus they look pretty, and people like pretty things. I'm sure you wouldn't buy a hideous car, or date a woman whom you aren't physically attracted to, or buy clothes that are unappealing to you.

You could just read the name from the car list.

If interiors are not important on 'The Real Driving Simulator', because, you know, people drive inside the car, then I don't know what is important anymore.

As a person who drives exclusively in cockpit view, I could not disagree more. It's a very important part of simulating driving a car, especially if you have a wheel. Sure, it's not for everyone, but it serves a lot of purpose.

Use the above hood cam, problem solved.
The point of the game is to drive cars fast, not to stare at the beautiful interiors.

I just downloaded this update and its actually not bad I like the idea that we can number more cars but also paint brake calipers pretty cool to think painting something small and change the look of your car by a fair bit

I actually find the bumper cam view is the best, interior view isn't particularly realistic as with a wheel you would see your hand, your wheel, then in game hands and in game wheel and a seriously restricted view

The point of the game is to simulate the experience of driving a car, and driving in cockpit view is the closest you can get to it. It's as simple as that.

I guess you wouldn't have any problem with bringing back all the cars from GT1 and GT2 that never made it to the PS2 them? We could even bring back all the tracks that never made the cut with no graphic improvements, and carry them over along with all the cars to GT7 in PS4, for as long as we can tell one car apart from the others graphic improvement serves no purpose right?

Just let it go, or look for a different thread to discuss it.

Where it says that more cars are compatible with racing numbers, has anyone compiled a list of compatible cars, and does it work on tricked out GT86's?:dopey::)
