Mmm ... 7 cars in this update :odd:, maybe there's something else (new modes, etc ...)

Typical more GT League events...

Maybe some Corvette event, stars & stripes??

other than that

Just please give us full-lap drift PD FFS!

I think the only way they'll take notice is if there was a notable thread on it..

In fact, PD lives in its own bubble. The desire of the community is almost irrelevant.
I disagree. There must be an unknown reason, technical or business? Silverstone is in every single racing game but Midfield Raceway only in Gran Turismo. They know how much the original tracks are loved by fans.

Maybe yes, maybe not... But for me, the McLaren P1 GTR - new to the series - it's my Christmas gift! (along with the new track).
Same

For me the hard part is gonna be grinding to get the money to buy it since i'll be starting from new game :(

But either way it will still remain in Gr. X as electric vehicles, even hybrids, or pure cars without a gearbox (either CVT or direct drive), will be in that class.

The LaFerrari is a hybrid and it's in N-class.

PD doesn't ignore the community. Look at all the cars they've brought out for the past year (especially when they are outsourcing) and the tracks. I do think they are listening to an extent.

True, most of the cars are GT6 premiums, but at least they are super premiums now, of which these cars can be ported to the next instalment and future next gen consoles.

As for the thought of PD failing to deliver, its not exactly their fault and here's why (this is not a history lesson btw)... PD made 600+ cars for GT2 that included the least polygons.

By the time the Ps2 came out, they couldn't port them over so they had to start each car again from scratch by increasing the polygon count. This is where they fallen behind because of the transition of game engines. Same with the PS3 generation. Now that they are outsourcing, they are trying to catch up.

The rain could be included if they really could, but as static weather, not dynamic. And finally the fictional tracks... they really shouldn't say goodbye to the tracks now because that's what makes the game sooo Gran Turismo.

Rain is already in GT Sport. I don’t know about the framerate and how advanced the physics are.

Kaz said dynamic weather was not happening, but set conditions?

This is rain, for 1 car and 1 "track" only.
Now do it for all the cars and all the tracks, plus make it work for 16 cars racing together without frame drops
Its an insane amount of additional work just to change from dry to wet

I actually like the new Tokyo track. Looks better than the other Tokyo track. Also, the F50 will be great, just hope it doesn't cost too much since PD for no reason at all has abandoned the microtransactions. STILL waiting on MTX's for the last DLC. I want to drive the Zonda R and GTO damnit.

The biggest problem I have is the idea that any game needs more than 200 cars. What racing games need is variety, and 200 is more than enough to achieve that. The car list should be quality over quantity like Assetto Corsa, not a bunch of duplicates and crap no one cares about like past GT's.

I'm still waiting on them to add updated race cars. The Ferrari 458 hasn't been raced at major events in a couple years, but we still have no 488. Still no Bentley Gr.3 in the game, still no Lotus. This game was supposed to be focused on racing and yet most of the cars we get are retreads of old GTs. Hell, we barely have any cars made beyond 2016. Not even a road-going McLaren 720S. The 720S GT3 will be available to FIA events in 2019, but I doubt we'll see it in GTS!

This is true. Just like somebody said: GT SPORT is turning into GT ROAD.

In a few days you get the money... I think P1 will not cost more than 3 million.

Maybe this time Gr.4 Amateur events.

- Nostalgic Cars at Catalunya?
- Gr.1 Endurance event?
- Hot Hatch at Catalunya?
- Ferrari at Catalunya?
- Kei cars at TESL?
- Gr.3 at TESL?

True, but the problem with having only 200 cars is the fact that everyone is a fan of a particular car from a particular decade. For me, there are numerous cars i've wanted to drive like the ferrari F50 and now im glad they've added it in the game..

Lol, no!

They planned the MTX, fully lied about it too, but held it back to sell the game and look like they're better than other developers. In the end, Sony wants money and the game was created to make earning take longer, a grind exists too. All because of incoming MTX.

Very naive indeed people. It's a business that's thriving purely because people are just eating it up like fools.

Microtransactions are key in today's gaming. Facts people. C'mon, lol. Wow!

(Spelling edit).

That doesn't make sense for GT Sport though.

All updates have been free and everyone can get them for free.

Sure, you can buy cars with MTX but I doubt PD makes any significant amount of money with that, relative to the free content they've been releasing for free in the last 13 months.

You might have a point if you go to an EA, Bethesda or ActBlizz forum.

Adding the fact that the new tracks are not even involved with MTX...

I really have to question PD as to why they chose the Tesla, out of all the cars you have... you went with that one.

Because it's one of GT6's ~180 or so super-premiums, and it's very easy to carry these over into GT Sport. In fact we can always deduce from the silhouettes which cars we are getting.

It stands to reason we will get all of them, minus of course the ones with licensing issues (NASCAR, Lotus, et al.) And then another 150-200 brand new, ground-up additions.

Interesting, at first glance I also thought this is Aston (but DB9). Let's see

At first I hoped to prove your point  But DB7 doesn't really fit, and Tesla fit quite good

Could be the facelift. Maybe the P100DL.

I'm thinking for new events in GT League, we could get the following:
  • Beginner League: Electric Circuits (for the Tesla Model S, BMW i3 and Peugeot L500R VGT)
  • Amateur League: Vette! Vette! Vette!, Club M or Tuning Car Grand Prix (C2 Corvette, BMW M3 E92 and Fugu Z respectively)
  • Professional League: Like the Wind, Dream Car Championship or Gran Turismo All Stars (The P1 GTR needs somewhere to go, at least.)
And for new races in existing events:
  • Beginner League: Nissan GT-R Cup or Stars and Stripes
  • Amateur League: Nostalgic Car Festival (Definitely for the C2 and Pontiac Firebird)
  • Professional League: La Festa Cavallino
  • Endurance League: Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series
