If you go to the thread where people were discussing their age and generation you'll find that there seems to be a gap with younger folks so its no surprise to me that perhaps the younger folks have no tie in or feeling for the older cars.

Hell when I was working in schools technical colleges and universities many kids had no idea about 20th century history so you can be certain that the younger folks dont care for 300zx's or E-Types or 1950's Aston Martins.

Forza gets around that by having 700 odd cars and yet still each DLC has big complaints.

So here if GT Sport releases a DLC that is centered around older cars then yeah... it'll be alien to young folks.

If its not S14s or Ken Block nonsense or whatever they aspire to now then this is what you get.

not more fun, just old history cars
That doesn't make anything worse. It just, according to your point of view, doesn't make it any better...

You may be surprised to learn that some people like the "old history cars" and get more enjoyment from them than the one-layout-fits-all identi-race car clones. I'd rather drive the Porsche 356 than the Porsche 919, that's for sure.

I hope someone is already working on this :dopey: :

You have no understanding of younger generations, and I don't see how you can look through this thread and say that younger people are generally not a fan of the update, and that older people like the update, considering you can't see the age of many users.

More than the cars selection what is worring me is that the game doesn't get any new features via updates like 360 degree camera rotation inside and around the cars or even one new camera view like before the last update people thought we will get new interior camera without the wheel but it was not true. We doesnt't get anything new aside from the cars and tracks.

My speculation prices:
TVR Tuscan Speed 6 '00 N300 (GT6 Premium) $98.000
BMW Z8 '01 N400 (GT6 Premium) $170.000
Aston Martin DB3S '53 GR.X (New in GT) $10.000.000 - $20.000.000
Ferrari Dino 246 GT '71 N400 (GT6 Premium) $105.000
Nissan Fairlady Z Version S (Z33) '07 N300 (GT6 Premium) $40.000
Porsche 356 A Speedster '57 N100 (New in GT) $1.000.000 - $2.000.000
Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '99 N200 (Standar become Premium) $30.000
Shelby GT350 '65 N300 (GT6 Premium) $60.000

Is nice to see a new Porsche but that model it´s not my taste, again no new GR.1 cars, no huayra, but is ok...more cars for the game.
Well after a long time TVR is in GT again, so this open the possibility for the new Griffit appear in the game at some time?

Maybe the new Supra coming in Febrary update.

Now waiting for which circuit coming too in this update, Real, some old original, new original o more layout for some circuit already in the game.

Fixed that for you

Hm... Then only other car I recall having this shape would be the Eagle Speedster which came I think in Forza 6, maybe 5.
I'm almost 100% certain it's the Aston Martin DBS3 and I am 100% certain that it's definitely not the Eagle Speedster.

The windscreen is the wrong angle, the bonnet is the wrong shape, isn't long enough and doesn't have the bulge in it that the Eagle's has, the nose is also the wrong shape and the rear looks like it has the more pronounced arch just behind the cockpit that the DBS3 has.

And that's why I think they work on the next GT at the moment. They can offer more than 100 cars and plenty of new tracks but not a new feature like clubs or more camera options?

No new Supra in this update is really strange. PD followed Supra's production since the beginning, with FT1, FT1 VGT and Supra Racing Concept. Something similar happened with GT 86 and we got a trailer on the reveal day and the car itself in the next GT5 update couple of weeks later. I think new Supra will be in this update, and we'll get a trailer on January, 14.
Still strange that there's no silhouette, since these don't really reveal anything, and photos were leaked anyway. But maybe PD and/or Toyota just want to make a surprise.

I can see why Toyota may not want to go all in on the Supra reveal. So far the car has been teased in small steps.

I bet their will be a new track, maybe spa, deep Forest or silverstone.

Its will be a great update. Bringing back tvr is a brand is a huge deal, that does mean we can get the speed 12 at some point,

Bringing the integra type r dc2 back is a good thing as we never had it in premium form before. glad the did go for the Honda version.

I am pretty sure Toyota does not want it's car to be revealed ahead of time and that may be the only reason I can think off of why there is no new Supra.

I saw many people predicting the new Supra but tbh I never saw it coming this month because the reveal was 14th of January, seeing the update was on 17th made me a little surprised and that the Supra might have been in but at the same time not.

Wish posts don't belong in the speculation threads, they belong in the Suggestions forum as I've said on numerous occasions.

And yes, people have successfully predicted a car or two before.

But it’s not what people do! Out of 100 posters 90 wish.

And now that we pretty much know the cars they speculate on the price tag *smh

You can emphazise and post your rules a million times, Famine, and won’t get through. It’s 2019 and there’s that „PD owes me my favorite car“ attitude. Fake „news“ will beat informed speculation everytime. Because real life is just too much of a burden, and this is the virtual world where „I want it my way“. Since you don’t regulate the wishlist stuff, it will keep coming.

Also, I started an an Update 1.33 speculation thread. Basically a cynical action on my part, but hey, there obviously is a demand *shrug And now it‘s closed which I think is undue censorship, as the post doesn’t violate a community rule, or does it?

His point was: If you have the words, "I wish", "I want" or "I would like" it will not be considered as a speculation.

I can speculate and say I think this or these cars might come in the next update and I did not wish for them or suggested for them (even though I have hidden wishes for them to appear) it's really that simple.
The choice of words is what makes the difference.

I speculated the Silvia to re-appear in the last update and the reason was they are iconic cars and realisticly they were premium models in GT6 which always have high chances of coming back to the game.

Then the good „Cars we had in GT6 and we still need in GTS“ should be enough for all. No further speculation needed.

That is just too Global that is why people specify which cars they predict or speculate in these updates.
I can also say I predict cars in Forza to appear soon in GTS but I would leave so many people with question marks.

Ok, then my standard of „informed speculation“ is a bit higher, obviously.

My point was: Look at this (or all the other) update (s): There‘s no way of actually telling what will come. No approach however „logical“ gets it right. It‘s almost random. Maybe based on the „what cars we had in former versions of the game“ list. But even that falls short.

That's why it's called speculation - reasoning based on evidence - and not "post what you know".
It‘s almost random.
Some people do post speculation that is almost random, speculating on cars and brands never seen before in the Gran Turismo series with no clear evidence that this will happen. This is then discussed on this discussion forum. Others post speculation that is less random, speculating based on the content of updates thus far. That too is then discussed on this discussion forum. This is how it works.

Wishes go in the Suggestions forum. Reasoning based on evidence goes in the speculation thread. It feels like I've said all of this before...

There is a distinct difference between me reasoning that we may get the Alfa Romeo 155Ti on the basis it has been in Gran Turismo before and there is existing speculation that it has recently been re-scanned by PD than just thinking I hope to god the new TVR Griffith is added because I love TVR's.

„Random“ meant the cars and tracks we see in the updates.

I could post 10 random cars from my neighborhood (yes, there are a lot of GT worthy cars in my neighborhood...) and be just as close to the actual update as most any informed speculation.

But anyway... There’s a lot of things I‘ll never understand when it comes to people and GT Sport, like „collecting cars“ or „doing liveries“... And the strange obsession with old versions of the game and the cars available there. But each his own, I guess.

See, that’s PRECISELY what I mean:

„Because I love TVR...“

Did anyone say wishlist?

Over and over and over. It should come with added text of 'no suggestions, no wishlists' in the thread title.
Problem is that such rule is a whole Gran Turismo Subforum rule. So that means you should add that title on alot of threads which is not ideal at all.

@Famine I can see why lots of people get confused searching for the GT Suggestions section. It has a redirect on Gran Turismo 6 subforum but nowhere to be found on Gran Turismo Sport subforum. Yes it can be accessed directly on the main Gran Turismo sub but lots of people wouldn't really notice especially when its only titled "Suggestions". Maybe if the "GT Suggestions" redirect is put on the GTSport section like in GT6 section than people would notice.

Just my 2 cents.
