The MAZ is in SpinTires, it's awesome :dopey:
Turning circle is very annoying though. But it pulls anything, anywhere so can't complain too much.
I can see why it's used/was used by the Russian military! Sounds crazy dependable.
Yeah, although the engine had a short service life.

There are a couple advertised for sale online, one for $13000, bargain! :D

13 grand. I'd guess it's street legal in the US?

I would guess you could get it to be street legal, is it vehicles over a certain age in the US that can be imported? It's street legal in it's current country

@peobryant I do love the sound of classic US trucks, most trucks here are straight 6s and they mostly sound a lot worse  However, Scania have a long tradition of producing V8 models, possibly the best sounding trucks ever

I donvt know the import laws. I'd assume it's legal though, since it's so old.

@Leggy1 that Scania V8 sounds pretty damn good but it dislike the popping sounds a V8 diesel makes a higher RPM, the PowerStroke and Duramax do it as well. Inline 6 everyday of the week for me.

I added the video you posted to my favorites on YouTube though, I love all diesel engines.

@peobryant That Peterbilt sounds great, but I prefer V8's, even the popping. Though not as special as the MAZ's V12 of course.

Volvo and Daf I6 engines sound pretty good with an aftermarket exhaust, not as nice as some American trucks but still pretty decent.

IDIs sound diesel when idling but sound like a gas V8 higher up. I always liked that.

Sorry it's late again guys, I'm sick with something, and have no idea what. Today was bad, I was dozing on and off all day, but tomorrow, I may not post one. If I don't, we will have two vehicles of the day.

9/10/14: Caterham Seven 620R, nominated by @Murcie_LP640.
2013-caterham-620r_100432903_l.jpg

Engine:

Ford 2.0 Supercharged Duratec: 310 Horsepower, 219 ft-lbs torque.

Drivetrain:

Six speed sequential gearbox.
Believe it or not, I never found the layout: Assume FR.

Weight:

545 KG/1,200 lbs.

Am I the only person amazed these things are street legal? They're so tiny... Anyway, back on the list on 10/10/14.

Yes it is FR, always like that with Caterhams.

Are these even sold or imported in the US?

I'm 99% sure they're street legal over here, I saw one at my first ever car show. Of course, could've been a kit car...

Guess they are very rare. You can buy Caterhams as kits to build yourself for a little less than pre-built. There are loads of other companies that do kit cars that look very similar to Caterhams.

I'd bet they're either street legal, or what I saw was a US kit car then.

Cool 👍

Gonna be late again today, playing GT6 with some friends, then I have a couple things to do. Expect it in the 7-8 PM range.

And out of such a small engine.

However the sound throws me off. Never really cared for turbo on old cars. New cars rock with it, though.

The 1275cc A+ Series (same engine without turbo) could have been bought with 90 hp and factory warranty in the late 90s.
