Well the First Race of the Season Group One was a blast. Alot of people showed up and participated. I am partially glad a 70' Challenger R/t RM won for the fact it proves it can race with the likes of others. (Even though I ran off the course into sand handing over first place to him) Although I do believe Skeletors Corvette is a force to be reckon with if he can keep it straight. Alot of guys have improved alot and kept the racing interesting and kinda close I would think. Group Two racing proved a bit more of an issue. Connection issue resulted in a complete failure of a proper race.

To save my hands from typing out all the info, I took a picture of the Results.

SuperShuden, That is awesome. I was going to get some pics of that tonight. Did not even see you coming and all of a sudden you came flying across my windshield from the passenger side. Don't know if you turned ghost car or not as I did not hit anything and was able to keep on racing.
 
Yeah I don't think you could fit a hair between those cars. I actually was trying to avoid hitting you and luckily, I didn't. Ended up only a couple places behind you, in the end. :)

That is a pretty impressive one wheel wonder. I don't know how you did that with the camaro. I would try increasing the LSD accel setting & flatten out the rear camber a little. That is ridiculous.

I would like to see a point system that rewards you for pole position & finishing a race. Also, I think the points should only count for the top 5 or 6 races. That way everyone can afford to miss one. Or have a bad day.

I'm also assuming that the points will be separated by each group?

Yup. Where I floor it and shoot out of the corner. I am slowly working on it as I know I am losing some speed in there some where.

Thinking, For Pole you get say 5 points. For 1st you get 10, and 2nd 8, 3rd 6, 4th 3, 5th 2, 6th+ 1 (atleast a point for finishing.

This also means we will have to start doing warm up and pole qualifying alot more organized. With one car running, letting them get half way around track and then letting second person out. Allow for 2 Timed Laps. Have people watch for a clean lap and then record the time.

If we have more then 12 people, probably should do a 20 point system. Same separation. (3) pts separate 1 & 2, (2) pts separate 2 & 3, (2) pts separate 3 &4, (1) rest of the way. (this would accommodate 16 drivers)

The qualifying time before each race will have be a little more organized. It's mostly common sense. People who are entering the track have to yield to the people who are already on. And separation. Simple stuff. Don't need to record the time, "fastest first" will do. After G1 race, re-load the track to wipe out the previous best lap time.

Then Group 1 @ Deep Forest followed by Group 2.

It's not to late to join. We are only counting top 5 or 6 races per group out of 7.

We only did the Group 1 race. The Group 2 race had technical difficulties. So it got rescheduled to next Sunday (see previous page). And yes, you will need 2 cars (see first page).

We get started 9pm Eastern (6pm pacific)
Lobby opens 1 hour prior. You will have to add Kalmiya117 to your friend list to join his lobby.

I have not decided on which cars to utilize yet, but I'm thinking the Mach 1 , since its the only one I've messed with, will be used for Group 2.

If you still have room, I'd love to join. I really enjoy racing my muscle cars but can't seem to find people online to race them on anything but Daytona. My psn is the same as u see here, I've got a 70 Challenger RM for group 1 and a 69 Z28 for group 2

This looks like it's gonna be a blast. Been working hard on my setups, but don't really have anybody to compare handling and lap times with. I'll be practicing tonight (Saturday) if anyone else is interested send me friend req. My psn I.d. matches my GTP name. My two cars are '70 Challenger RM #7 lime green, and '69 Z28 black
 
Reminder- Tonight (Sunday) at 8pm EST I will open my lounge and start sending out PM informing of opening. We will be racing first at Grand Valley Speedway to make up for Last Sundays connections issues. Group 2 will finish there.

We will then move onto Deep Forest for Group One and Two running.
