Won't be able to make it tonight as I don't have a place to live anymore. But, I'll be back as soon as I can.

Had a lot of fun racin last night guys. First race was a little disappointing, stuffed the nose of my camaro under Skeletor's vette and sent him through the sand. I had trouble recovering, missing my turn entries. Second race I learned that the Challenger RM is a lot more of a beast to tame then I had thought, but I'm determined. Third race I was maybe too cautious at the start trying not to have another accident, but once I calmed down and started nailing my corner entries, I began showing up in a couple rearview mirrors. Managed a couple clean passes and actually pretty happy with my finish. I'll defenatly be back next weekend, hope we have a better turn out.
Any more space to join? I just saw this thread. If there is room:
PSN: snoopykuan
Group One PP Limit 660:
70' Challenger R/t RM
Group Two PP Limit 550:
71' Mustang Mach 1
Thanks.
Don't sweat it too much. We've all done that, and it's happen to all of us. Usually I drive myself into the grass/sand. Just got to take it easy on the first lap on fresh tires. I was actually more distraught that the game hosed me out of a first place start. I had the fastest time and it started me in 4th.
Glad you had a lot of fun, look forward to seeing you next weekend.
according to my replay you started second I believe. I will re watch it to make sure.
Skeletor27We have room for you. You will have to add Kalmiya117 to your buddy list. Races are hosted in his lounge. Sunday nights 9pm eastern. Lounge opens 1 hour prior.
Nice to see a Ford join. All the other Ford drivers were too scared to show up last night.
Anyone else developing piercing headaches while trying to get their cars to turn at Indy?. . . .
MuddThis is my first attempt at taming these beasts as well, but I had a blast last weekend. There is a nice variety of skill levels in here, makes it quite fun (though I do secretly suspect a couple of these guys of hiring Chad Knaus as a crew chief). And tuning these forces you to really LEARN about setup adjustments, instead of just throwing numbers at the car. I like it
Hi,
I'd love to join in on this event.
You can put me down in a '69 Camaro RM in Group 1.
Thank you!
Welcome aboard.
Choose a group 2 car, and you are all set.
Add Kalmiya117 to your buddy list, races are hosted in his lounge. Room opens Sundays @ 8pm eastern. 1st race starts @ 9pm.
I think we are getting pretty full now.
Hmm... I won't be able to race in TWO groups, as my bedtime is at 10 pm EST.
Oh well, I can't make this series. I lag pretty bad anyhow.
Here's some irony for ya: I just started really getting into online racing and tuning about a month ago. As soon as I realized how in depth the tuning process was, I checked GTPlanet for some tips. Found a decent looking tune 'somebody' had posted, wrote it down and now use it as a starting point for any new car I take to the practice track. Just this morning I'm goin through the forums, I come across the tune I had borrowed. Turns out it's Kal's post. Ever since Deep Forest last week, I've been wondering what Kal has done to his Camaro to be so much faster then me, and it's his camaro tune that I've been adjusting off of for each of my cars...guess that means extra practice laps for me tonight. Lol. Oh yea, nice tune Kal!
I ve gotten alot of Thanks for that tune. That was posted before I started majorly taking with skeletor27. I keep hearing that out of alot of tunes it is stable and works through alot of cars. IT is not necessarily the fastest but seems to be a good threshold.
I may go back to that tune and try it now that I have more experience with the Camaro. The maybe post me most recent tuning of it. I also find the same tune works well for the Stock Camaro I have set up for the 550pp races.
