I'm new here, after spending a year in GT5. I'm not far into the game (2 days) I went to the design shop and saw all of what you can do to your cars....somewhat better than GT5...
My question is.....if I make a custom design in photoshop, or something like that, can I import my design into FM4???

No, you can't use photoshop to make liveries in Forza 4. All vinyls/liveries are created using the in-game livery editor. It does take a lot of patience and time to create accurate vinyls and liveries, but it's definitely worth it, in my opinion. 👍

It was just a thought. i have a graphics tablet, which gives you extreme accuracy, and ease. I had hoped to be able to import a skin into FM4...but so be it.

It isn't "somewhat better", but rather 3.2 billion times better. GT5 actually offered absolutely no customization of any real kind. Even something as basic as simply swapping the paint color was made into a horrendous chore, and then that was all that you could do. You couldn't slap a single graphic on there of any kind.
