Yea, I can't imagine 16!!! At cape ring, we thought turn one was tight... Just add 9 more cars going at it! Really fun, and scary, and I think we'd get a totally sweet crash! Or two... Well there's three races so probably three!!!

Hehe, nothing wrong with it, as long as it doesn't get TOO crazy. I mean, considering we didn't REALLY have one single turn one, lap one crash, I think we're playing with some mature racers, and there won't be too many problems.

As long as no one try's to hand brake the turn...

That was a little chaotic, I'll admit. I'm wondering if I should actually make a rule, about "handbrakes will slow you down. Don't use them."

Or "don't be stupid, if it's at the point where your actually thinking of using the handbrake- its too late!"

"And you may return to the track, once you're finally under control again... two hours later?"

Well at least it wasnt at a city circuit! He'd have blocked the whole track!

Anyways, the points standings will *ONLY* begin in the first round of the normal season, and will be updated BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE on GTPlanet.

After some confusion in the Rolex series, such points confusion will not happen in this series. The points will be reviewed by all three of the Stewards for accuracy (just a simple glance through, if the stewards are otherwise busy.)

But, I have shown a sample calculation of how the points will work, under the round name "0.1" That is preseason round 1, and is our official points example. I used Polarbear for it, since I believe that he received the highest number of points, from the round. He got 93, of a possible 100 points. HOWEVER, they do *NOT* count towards the title. They are being used as an example of the points system, with Polarbear's permission.

UPDATE: I included the Honda Factory team, to show how the Team points will work. I'm doing the same for the Independent teams. In order to do this example calculation, I'm using my second account (SCCA_Solo2_15) and a generic 4th place finish in every race.

Here's the points table, with the example denoted as Round 0.1 (example.)

Of course, Rolex is a example of what not to do... No biggie! And the points will be more complex here than there, so it'll be more key to look over these than those (although we had a hiccup today)

my bad i ain't been in touch much but I'm packing for the trip from uni to my REAL home. not sure how it shall affect the connection as whilst this one is quicker, it has an absurdly high ping and jitter =/

How absurdly high is absurdly high?

Special thanks to James6653 for unknowingly giving me some good ideas about info to include in the points table.

Your welcome melan could you make one of these for the Rolex series and give the password to edit it to me polar and your self

Well, I could EASILY give myself the password. But, the thing is, though, I'm not sure how many points each race will be worth in Rolex Season 2, etc...

So, let's await further details.

Also, damu, you're going back to Ireland?

To finalize the details for the new entries, I'd like to officially welcome "Hiyanu" to the series! He'll be driving the Peugeot 307 XSi!

results from pingtest and speedtest respectively:

Other results include Pings: 53ms (Sunday) & 82ms (Today),
respective Jitters: 32 ms & 84 ms

I guess the recommended gaming ping and jitter is something like less than 30-40ms and 5ms respectively.

Haha, tempting as that is I can barely afford getting back to within 5 miles of storm.

Funnier still that my closest pingtest server is in Dublin.

But I should be heading from Plymouth to other side of London soon making the tests completely irrelevant.

Phew, that's a good stress relief, hearing that... I thought that my download speed was bad, but, from time to time it can go as high as 20 mbps, guaranteed! But, as I said many times before, my saving grace is the stability of the internet around... It never loses connection. It's like taking a bone from a Jack Russell.

Told my wife I needed the package where internet speed is suitable for gaming and netflix. But we all know its mainly for porn.

Aye, the ones who deny it do it the most. :). Cant do that anymore anyway. Mother in law moved into the basement and shes ALWAYS on facebook till at least 3 in the morning. I had to invest in a headset cause shes always playing her damn games.

And I have top gear uk and usa set to record on my dvr. Netflix has some seasons available also. 👍

Yeah... It's on like 6 times in a row, on BBC Canada, on Wednesdays. Every other day of the week, they play Top Gear from 2003, and talk about the "Audi Le Mans Quattro concept." Well then... MUST WATCH WEDNESDAYS!

Otherwise, what did I supposedly deny? :yuck: I would never deny watching Top Gear UK!

I'll be online today testing out more cars. The TVR may not be my final pick! I STRONGLY suggest you guys join me.

MrMelancholy15
Sweet!! Also, ask him if 20 mbps is decent, please.

My mom has to ask my dad yet... Because it costs 17.50.... REALLY!!!!???? My sister just got a Burberry purse (300+) and I can't get a 20 dollar favor?!

I don't get much either, if it's any consolation. I mean, I really want to buy Harrison's wheel.
