I thought it was already talked about that we couldn't see eachother.

That's fine.

I'm ready to report on one incident from comp. lap 1 of Race 2: Turn 6.

The incident involved: NizmoDR3, Freshseth83, and Sakery.

Entering Turn 6, Seth & Sak both swerved to NizmoDR3's left side. Because they couldn't see each other, Seth & Sak were unknowingly bumping each other. The gap was small, and there was only room for one more car; Seth's. However, unknowingly, Sak also took the position. When the two "invisible" cars came together, the physics system forced Seth into NizmoDR3, and NizmoDR3, then lost control.

I don't recall hitting him, not on my screen. You sure the invisibility caused me to hit him, or was it Sakery who hit him? Because I could see Nizmo.

Well, you were bumped by Sak, but, only because Sak couldn't see you/you couldn't see him.. It was an honest incident. The only possible course of action, would be to forget this.

Yeah the situation comes to my mind again.
I couldn´t see Seth but I probably knew he was around me. I felt and saw a little "jump" of me which caused me to have contact with Nizmo.

Sometimes if two drivers can´t see eachother the others see them flying above the circuit if they drive near eachother :D

Well just forget about it I apologize for my connection but I did all to have a stable connection (deleted unneccessary pm´s in XMB, cleared cache, router reset) but ...

I saw no lag. I don't think that the invisi-glitch is caused by connection. Honestly, 👍 to Nizmo, though. I haven't seen lag since Deep Forest. ;)

I saw a bit from you at the Nurb in Bankfin testing, but I think that was due to me not being the host ... Shoe was ...

Yep ... didn't you know that he is a dream being that can travel between any time and space? ... I remember a story a couple of years ago there was a story that Freddy decided to set up a new Elm street in SA and he apparently got here via fibre optic cables ...

Just a point; it's not very rare that people invisible to one another can actually bump one another. It's different if person A can see person B, but person B cannot see person A though, as person A will still feel contact since the other guys is coming up as visible.

This is coming from someone who generally used to spend half of a season not being able to see half the drivers in a lobby.

The -2 is 2x Softs, for both drivers.

Seth, the incident in question is simple: in Race 2, were you able to see Sakery?

-.- ugh, not being mean, but that is a terribly weak penalty. 2x softs is wayyyy more of a advantage than -2 points...

Yes, but, it's also the first offense for both drivers. Next time, the penalty will range between 4-20 points. :indiff: It's hard, trying to strike the balance between "mistake" and "now you lose ALL the points," but I'm doing my best.

Storm, I know. But, we still don't know what causes it.

Daytona Rolex before I disconnected. The amounts we had to communicate to avoid crashes. I was s:censored:ing myself at the bus stop, after I blitzed past you on the straight. You already know this, but others don't :sly:

I assume the Toyota's aren't getting a penalty for that as it wouldn't be fair. Though, it heavily disadvantaged the victim, which is a shame.

Yeah, the only possibility, would be to give Nizmo "reconciliation" points, or such, to say "sorry, but, you were 🤬 by a stupid glitch in a game." But, that's not really fair, either. :( It's a tough situation. Anyways, I've got some photos on a memory stick, and nothing to do for a while.

You know what ... it happens ... I was pretty pissed of about it until I was informed about what really happened ... so what that I got the short stick in that situation but at least the race wasn't interfered with by more problems ...

But if you want to hand out free points to me, then I'll take 100 ... :D

Funnily enough, both times it happened were actually both at Daytona. Was on both ends of that, preseason I was the one who could see but not be seen, in the proper season it was Nirv who could see me but couldn't be seen by me.

Thank god for Skype calls, eh?

The most I'd offer would be a cookie! Unfortunately, I reckon no consolidation points should be given. None were given to Dave after my 🤬 up at Deep Forest, Storm was put off the track in race 2 by Polar's dc and so forth. If some situations earn some, it will start more controversy, which is the last thing the series needs.

Well, you couldn't see anyone who had qualified behind you.... and Polar.

I don't want free points Damu ... I was just taking the piss out of the situation ...

The way I'm taking it is as 'mechanical damage' ... it didn't take me out of the race, but at least I still got some points ... pure racing incident that was unavoidable ...

Why do you think I was offering cookies? Anyone who touches my cookies irl will be put through the ultimate intolerable hell

Was just continuing to my view on what Mel was contemplating

 ... If that's the case then can I get milk with them?

Fair warnings:

If anyone is seen, doing such a pass attempt, they will be penalized, from now on. As the circumstances aren't clear, of this crash, yet, I'd like to speak with the drivers involved, still, but:

This seems to be a divebomb. Remember, you have to line up and set up the pass, before you're legally allowed to make it.

I'm crying with laughter right now. Checked back on the replay and I was braking from well far back in that. I braked the same time at joe did too.

Oh dear Storm (the rims give it away & I'll check replay when I can be asked). Now that we're setting up warnings about divebombs, how about corner cutting (a better definition for my uploaded video)?

Well, should we ask Joe? I didn't notice any similar braking points at all. I don't know what to think of this. However, now that you've brought it up publicly, everyone now knows which Mazda RX-7 they're looking at. for not drawing attention specifically to yourself. :ouch: I was trying not to use names, here... :indiff:

Damu, the corner cutting stuff's in the works, but, it's one thing at a time. I want people to focus on one thing at a time.

What exactly is the point of not saying names? It's not like we can't go and see it in the replay if we want to know.
