Race started late yesterday. It can start the same time IMO. I usually have something going on Friday's at that time. So the time it started today was decent. Next track should be something a little less technical so we can see how the other cars stand before rushing to penalize the RX7.

Anyways, for anyone who was absent today, Mazda took a pretty stunning 1-2 finish, today, and I had to do a one-stop strategy, just to stay on the lead lap. The preseason will be extended one week, as I try to figure out the specs for these cars.
This week, we'll go to Daytona Road Course, to check the specs at tracks with longer straightaways. I believe that this will be a place where new cars will shine, and it might be the valid proof we need, as to whether or not some cars need to be respec'd.

The only thing I can say is find a good setup for your car to have tire wear lessened. Even if you're not the fastest, being able to be consistent on the tires will make up that time. Even if it's a second or two slower per lap, if you can hold that time for a longer period than the guys running faster, you should have a good shot at winning.

My setup's fine, and I stayed out as long as you guys, and managed to run a one-stop strategy, to stay on the lead lap. However, I was like 2 seconds a lap slower.

The BMW isn't great at those tight back and forth type turns. Too front heavy.

Yeah. I still had fun. It's a great car, and it was challenging cresting the hill before the hairpin without locking the brakes.

Daytona still on for Friday? Fridays seem really jumbled up and we didn't get much turn out. Maybe a poll should be put up to see what day people prefer. That way we can see votes what and come to a conclusion on how to get this show on the road.
