Wallbanger's 1st annual million credit FF Summer Shootout!(6/19/11 final 7/17/11)

Thats a pity, I was hoping someone would come through with a quick SRT4.

Was actually my first choice but was so far over 500 PP that it was hopeless by the time you finished restricting it.:(

Love the SRT4 as I had a '97 neon sport in real life that was awesome. And I lusted heavily after the SRT4 when it came out a couple years later.

Yeah it's a pig with all the ballast & power limiting it needs. It's just got too much torque, but maybe somebody will come up with a good tune for it. In another Shootout with higher PP it will do very well.

One of my SRT4 variations has 426ft-lb of torque at 500PP. It definitely could be a competitor.

I tried Dodge, Ford & Mazda but Honda did well with the Type-R line, tough to beat, but I'm sure it's doable.

There is one other car that will certainly Do well, I think Adrenalin's been driving one at GVS rather quickly, but I can't be sure.

A street version of the FTO maybe?

I cheated, so you can ignore all my lap times.
I use every run off area, so add about 10 seconds to my lap times and they're more accurate.
The FTO would have been my car of choice if I was tuning, or possibly the 97 Civic I got pretty well acquainted with in the Seasonal. But that's probably because I already owned them both, and I'm lazy...

10 seconds? I doubt that. Half a second? Sure. Maybe a full tick.

Regardless the car you've been driving is doing well for being over 1200kg when fully weight reduced while making little to no more power than the 1000kg Integras.

I'm a newb that just bought a PS3 two Sundays ago. Can I be a test driver? I can test how "noob friendly" a tune may be perhaps? :sly:

Was I right, it's the FTO you were pacing the Track with? V6 low end and wide, it's FAST in this category.

He's driving for me. So no. It's a big, fat, 5-door (a hatch only in that the glass goes up with the decklid) with a 4 cylinder.

Edit: @CeeJ: Yep. You're welcome to test stuff. The more the merrier.

Okay then, enjoy the Event.

That Fat Pig sounds like a Mazda, but I'm sure you found something else, going for that mysterious thing? Sounds familiar, funny. Enjoy the events :)

Out of curiosity I'm wondering what sorts of top speeds people are hitting down the main straight?

Having a total corner carver does me no good if I'm getting totally blown away in the straight.

I'm trying out a sweet little hot rod but not sure if its got enough juice at the top end to compete.

North side of 150mph without being too specific ;)

Since it hasn't officially started I thought of something interesting to ponder. Usually when you do a Tuner Shootout IRL there are other categories like "most hp", "fastest top speed" (too bad there is no 1/4 mile) etc we should consider this in future events.

Okay then I'm probably in the right neighborhood then...so all I need now is someone who can actually drive...to many walls and sand traps killing my time. Plus these tires and this track make me feel like I'm driving on ice!

Max speed 250 kmh = 155,3 mph with integra.

Yep its the driver and not the car!:D

They don't call him Harvey Wallbanger for nothing!

Maybe you should drive more with comfort and sports tyres to get used to it and not try to kill the Supercars with your Avanzzato on Racing Softs :P

Hitting 155mph, but still down at 491pp and with the extra power, we'll need a tranny adjustment, as I'm getting blinked at already.
Down to a 2:01.3xx, but still cheating.

1:01.3xx? What track are you on? I know I'm bad but over a minute behind?

But its sooo much fun to laugh at those so called Supercars as my "Pocket Monster" goes screaming past! And the pay ain't bad either! Gotta do something to keep the warchest full.

Yeah... I do the SS7 glitch, where you get underneath the track, then do donuts for lap times. Te first 56 seconds are just getting down there, the next 5 are my actual lap! :dunce:
