Depends how you´re layout is. When I drive with DS3, I use the right stick as throttle and have the L2/R2 as the gear changers.

By the way, I got an new time

It´s down to personal prefrences anyways I guess. I´m rubbish with the DS3 now, because I started use the wheel when I got GT5.

Yeah, I reckon i'd be bad with a ds3 now, although I have only had my wheel for about a fortnight. Much prefer the wheel, I seem to be much more in control

Here's my attempt. Disappointingly far away from the top runners but it was the best I could do yesterday and I doubt I'll have time to try again during the week.



It's quite obvious where all that time went. Don't know which sector actually any good since all of them, especially the last one, feature mistakes (or flamboyant driving, as I'd rather call it).

Brilliant combo, the best so far. If only the Cobra didn't understeer so much, it'd certainly be one of my favourite cars.

EDIT: Also don't know if you consider that chicane clean or not. I went with the though of "curb is track" like many leagues do and kept two wheels on the curb but if that's against the rules, I have no way of reaching 43s let alone 42s.

Wow great lap, you are currently 2nd! yeah i would say the chicane was clean, i'm glad you like the combo you have ronald6 to thank for it! i loved the way you took the hairpins - great stuff! Glad you could make it this week, it's good to see you thrashing us again!

And any tap/bump again a wall, no matter how gentile, should disqualify your lap even if your time doesn't go red.
Just because your time is white doesn't mean its a valid lap. I often think I have improved my time only to find out I touched a wall or cut a corner too close. I won't know it till I watch/race my ghost.

I'm trying to load Misunderstoods' relay now. And my internet isn't fast enough to watch a youtube vid. But if there bumps then yep: DQ. Sucks. I had several laps that have beaten my best times but I can't count them.

Replay shows lots of time to gain all over the place. I wasn't happy with much of anything up to the hotel hairpin while driving it, and I'm still not after watching it. After that it's better but still not great. Honestly after watching it I still can't understand how it was two seconds faster than my old one, swerving all over the place and missing almost every apex and exit.

Wow great time! Good improvement, think I'm last now will put in half an hour tomorrow to try to get into the 45's.

This is a ''clean as a whistle'' but very sloppy lap of 1'41.044 and it is my second best lap so far. I will not be uploading my best lap replay until the event is finished, because i don't want the competition to know what they are up against.

PS. According to the GTP OLR, you must have at least 2 tires on the rumble strips at all times, so i'm clean through the chicane.

Good time, what file type is your video, how did you get it onto your computer?via SD card?
Anyway I think we will say two tyres at least on rumble strip through chicane is clean. So I am happy that the lap is clean. Although video evidence if preferable. 👍 great lap!
