Edit:
I don't keep track of my sector times. Often I turn the display off so I don't even see them. Its more of a distraction than anything. Plus sector times are misleading (as I/we have discussed in week 2s thread).

A 1:41? That's fast! Any chance of a replay of that? I'm not doubting you, but you're almost 4 seconds faster than most of the faster times posted.

If you're not doubting me, then you don't need a replay. 41's is quite a normal laptime, as i said there's huge room for improvement, this was only done after 20 laps or so.

Either way i'll post my best lap replay after this week's event has finished.

Nice one, you have managed to creep ahead of me 👍 okay I was just wondering how my first sector stacks up against other people.

No need to be so touchy, I just find it hard to believe you're that much faster than everyone else.. Don't get me wrong, that's an excellent time though.

Dude, lighten up.

These trials are just a bit of fun. When someone sets a blistering time it is not unusual for us to ask for a replay, not to doubt you, but to learn from you; if you check previous weeks the faster guys have posted replays so the slower ones can learn the lines and the speed that corners can be taken at if you take the right lines etc.

It is also a natural reaction to double check that you were abiding by the regs because in the past we have had people make mistakes. They do happen so we check when a very above average time crops up.

Sorry if you got offended, but it's a damn good lap time! (maybe we kinda wish it wasn't legit so we'd stand a chance of winning this week! :lol:)

I doubt I will run this one much more. Tonight i was just getting so frustrated as the car didnt seem to be doing as instructed. Maybe it's because im tired... Will try again later in the week and then if it annoys me still I'll just leave it there lol
 
I just did a 1:43.190. Spent about 20mins. Maybe about a seconds worth left for me personally. Getting a lot of wheel spin here and there. I can see misunderstood's time being possible as I'm usually two seconds or so off of aliens, so....
 
I understand man but look at it from my side. I don't consider myself an alien. I know i'm fast but not that fast. I rarely drive with no aids, i usually use TC and skid recovery but not the driving line. I'm not used to being at the top at TT's (or even near) and the one time i manage to do so some guys spoil it for me even if it's not their intention. Tht's why i react as i do.

I never said it was impossible, and I dont think the others did either, just a little in awe lol.

Great time though buddy, if you add the particulars (tranny, controller etc) in the format in the OP i'll add your time to the list 👍

I wasn't trying to get you mad, but when you post a time that fast, you can expect people to question it, if you can back it up, then you'll shut us all up. Simple :)

I'm sure I can beat that with more practice. I was ahead several times, including on my final lap with a broken front wheel. Missed a lot of apexes, caught a couple slides. My first 7 laps were all best laps, the posted time came on lap 11. The car seems so capable in so many corners, but push it slightly wrong and it doesn't work.

Ok guys I've got a couple questions:

1 I'm not on line so the game has never been updated - how much of a difference is there between my game and those that have been updated?

2 I really do not get this idea and the bo-hooing I hear constantly here on the boards about using the raceing softs - why? Haven't any of you guys EVER really raced? the 1st thing you want is the stickiest most consistant tires you can get on any car you're driving even Miss Daisies '55 Chevy!!!!!

Next The idea or love affair with the "GERMAN CRASH COURSE" and this Cote DeJour courses??? what gives? I HATE both of these pieces of DUNG!!!! Now in all honesty I probably have not taken the time to actually really learn the "ring" but even still its so tight and the road itself is just crap period! If they widend that road and took the time to really pave it right it would be GREAT! but the condition of it in this game means that track is garbage.

2: Racing softs hide the feel of most cars. Its not about going fast, its about going quickly. Some drivers like to push themselves not just the vehicle.

I must say that I seriously do doubt that time!

I don't think you intentionally cheated or you wouldn't have posted a time so far off ours but you are used to playing with SFR and TC and you come and blitz our times by 4 secs with NO AIDS???

I would bet your SFR and TC were still on or you were on RS tyres and not SS!

Love to see your replay and I think we qre justified in wanting to see it, hell if I'd done a time that fast I'd want the world to see it so seeing as your reluctant to show it then that further adds to the doubt!

If any of us was fastest and we got asked for replay we would show it, why wouldn't we?
We need Frontal system / Timpaq to see what they get

Hey sorry I haven't ran the combo yet, been busy shoveling dead rats from a platform, but really just working. Will hopefully have a video of a predicted run and resulted time up and posted here in about 24hrs from now, definitely want to legitimize MU lap time.
