I was not using an RX-8 for the run listed there, it was a 3400S.
I'm about to make some more runs with the 3400S and the RX-7, will post times IF they improve.

You know...going back to the discussion in the suggestions about changing the divisions to points standings etc...

I like what Luxy did here....just list everyone in their order no matter what division. You get a nice snapshot of that is going on. You will get an overall leader (Max E right now) and then places all down the line. Award points for the top 8 places and also award division winners. HareTurtle would witn Div 3 but place 11th overall....

I think I this weekend I will take last 2 weeks results and mock them up into a results sheet In the system I am thinking about. just to demonstrate my idea.

Sorry lux, but I can't let you cite my time in your post. ;)
It was kinda off. Hope you don't mind that I abused my mod status to remove it. (but that's all I did. First time I've done that sort of thing as a mod btw.)

No worries, I didn't mean to overstep. I know that no one who mentioned times was expecting them to be put in a leaderboard type deal. I had just wanted to see for myself where I was sitting, and though other folks might be interested too :D

@Scuderia, check out this post.

I think you guys have a great idea with showing the results in a more realistic sense... showing division and placement overall is how real races are done, maybe it should be here to.

And luxy... you didn't over step your bounds. That is not a worry.

What was a worry to me was that the times you had posted for me were so far off of my real times that it was almost like lying. I don't like that, so instead of letting them go, I just decided to remove my name.
I just didn't want misleading results to go up on the leader board.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." That opening line from the novel, 'The tale of two cities' keeps popping into my mind. Yeah, I slept in my car last night....it's my ritual...every great driver has one.

Mine is, drink a few cheap beers, think about your line, your mistakes....why you're not getting this thing right. Drink a few more cheap beers, but I never get out of the car; I keep everything on... even my helmet. That, I now realize was, "The best of times!"

"The worst of times"... was come morning when I saw all these 'bloody fast guys' here with their fancy cars and set-ups, and their crazy mad driving skills.

I reluctantly stepped out of my car, ignoring the tell-tale large wet spot on the bottom of my racing suit.....(an indication that lots of that cheap beer had run full cycle)

Looking up at the leaderboard, I realized that what was 'The best of times' yesterday, had miraculously become 'The worst of times' today.

So, a T1=21.545...T2=48.891...T3=101.738..... looks as bad as a stale open can of cheap beer taste.

So much for 'Rituals'....

I can almost guarantee that Max is using the Ruf RGT - notwithstanding the fact he loves it and is close to awesome in it, but his car weighs 1130kg... :D

Hey, HeinrichII...nice times in whatever you're running.

I'm going to regroup tomorrow and see if there is maybe something I missed in the way of car choices....even through this one feels pretty nice.

I never tested the Ruf 3400, RX 7 & 8, 350Z Concept, and a few others out there that might be better suited for my driving style.

Oh! daan....Nice times....I remember you being pretty good here also.... from one of the 'Nerds' Challenges when you ran in the Vertigo. Hey, I don't forget!:D

I'll see you guys in pit lane tomorrow....there's going to be a showdown between us 'lower level' fast guys...:mischievous:

Thanks Emperor, I'm running the Speed 6, I like the feeling of this car, it's so much fun to drive :D

I can't believe how are ppl getting fast times with the RGT, well maybe I'm not a fan of the RR:P

:( I've just noticed the weight limits of 1100-1150kg. My car (Zonda C12, 497bhp - 1250kg - pwr2.515) is outwith that.

Ditto on that RGT...I tried it yesterday and it ran good until I started pushing it harder....then I was flopping back and forth like a fish out of water. It's a car I just have no talent for driving.

I'm running the Lotus 350, but it's starting to flop around a little to much also.

Yeah, the Speed Six is a real stable solid car.:)

Daan: Yeah, I found that out yesterday about the Zonda....even with the weight reducetion, it came up to light...so I figured it to be 'out' of spec.

aww, well, bad luck I guess, but you're good, I'm sure you can make a good job with other car :)

The Zonda, Z06, Viper being out of spec hands the race to the RGT. Downforce and great traction make it unbeatable.
