What are you expecting from GT6 @ E3

No, just no.

How shall I say it? Ehm...
Were you drunk to throw Porsche into play? What did hit you to call Porsche? Never on earth will they have Porsche!

Better?

Well first of all it wasn't me who said it

And secondly, he highlighted that it was an 'out on the limb' prediction, meaning he realises that it's highly unlikely to happen.

and run at a steady 60fps under most conditions

How is that confirmed? One of the main critisims of the Silverstone demo is the framerate drops.
Well poop, you're right. We don't even have the GT Academy demo yet. This is what I get for posting when I don't feel good. Better go back and edit that... :P

What he said. Besides, this is as much for fun as anything. And really, what has proven true has freaked me out just a bit. Since this was what we got at the Silverstone Event, just imagine what E3 will have in store.

Anyhow, gotta get back to painting cars in that other game while I'm still conscious...

What makes you so sure? If they pay the money they'll have Porsche. I don't think it'll happen for GT6 either but he did say it was an out there prediction.

I imagine if we ever get Porsche in GT6 then at first as DLC. Thus PD could give all the money to EA and they would see how many people care.

Isn't it an exclusive contract?

That's what I heard. It's relatively hard then. They'd have to pay huge amounts of compensations, etc.

It is exclusive, but EA is allowed to sublicense the license. Therefore it just a question of power, money and competition.

EA would sue PD first. I mean, they're not exactly Mr. NiceGuy in the gaming kingdom.

And since EA is that generous...

What is your point? The reason a company pays for an exclusive licence is to be able to earn money from it in sublicencing it or to prevent a rival from getting it. EA are in no sense of the word a rival to PD therefore it is just down to cost.

How much do EA want? Is PD/Sony willing to pay it? Yes = Porsche in GT. No = no Porsche in GT.

What are you talking about? EA sublicencing to PD is not an actionable act. It's called BUSINESS.

Yeah, PD could actually get the Porsche license if they're able to pay EA enough money for their sub-license.

Glad I have something to look forward to after my Monday morning mechanics exam! (Please cope with the traffic GTP :))

Don't expect much really, but I really hope for a PS4 version without the standard cars.

They'd need at least another 5 years then.
No, I mean they should just toss the standard cars out the window and stick with the, 400 or so, premium cars. Of course, they should never have ported cars straight from the PS2 in the first place, but they're clearly a bunch of nutcases.

If they have demonstration, I would bet that that's what the demo will be on. If they don't then they'll have another epic 3 minute long trailer similar the intro in GT5. :P

I'm not sure what to expect, but I should be at E3 (I have a badge but have been sick lately so not 100% sure I can make it) so I'll tell you guys what I see.

I just hope there's some cool GT swag, lol.

Silly question, how good are you at car recognition?

What time is the Sony press conference? And I wouldn't mind seeing some things that they promised us. Such as "silverstone" and the skeptical "several thousand aero parts"

Um, we've already seen Silverstone in pretty clear detail. Anyway the conference is 6pm PDT 10/6/2013, 2am BST 11/6/2013.
