Haha but you already have 25m credits?? Most cars that come with the monthly updates are just 1m credits on average so you have plenty!
Not the Maserati though, that's what I'm afraid of lol

Also I kinda want to get all the cars in Brand Central, though those cars will always be there with the same prices so I'm not too worried about that.

Started working on a method of using a specific brand of car to grind enough credits for all the cars of that brand. Starting with Alfa Romeo, I ran three back-to-back GT Gr.3 (730PP) races at Lago Maggiore in the 4C Gr.3.

First one, the car wasn't set up properly and my driving wasn't aggressive enough to get through the pack, so I ended 4th, some 7s from the lead pack. Second time around I adjusted the set-up of the car for less downforce and drove a bit more aggressively, ended up with an easy win (>6s) ahead of the Z4. On that second attempt I noticed the vehicle mileage hadn't increased (it reset to what it was at the start of the first race!) so I exited the event back to the garage and indeed I had ghost mileage - won the roulette but vehicle mileage was as if I'd only completed one race! Anyway, no huge deal, so went back to the race for another round and easily won with the same settings, but this time the mileage increased as expected. I'll have to try another back-to-back to see if the mileage resets again!

At least the car looks the part...

My aim is to run another race (and win) and buy the 4C Gr.3 Road Car, then run that at Tokyo to grind enough credits for the Giulia TZ2 - anyone here run the Alfa 4C RC and can comment on it's suitability for that race?

Got up at 6am. Been playing for 2 hours and did 2 Le Mans and 2 Sardegna races. Went from 3.3m credits to 6.6m.

Tonight I should be able to do another 3 races so in theory I'll be up to 8.7m credits.

Fired it up again, went to hagerty and got the 917. Did a Sarthe run with my engine swapped mr2. Almost got to 8 laps, just 20 seconds shy. The it was time to unleash the beast. 917 on spa 1h. What a glorious car to drive!!!! You have to be so on edge to be fast, especially in the rain and drying conditions. Absolutely enjoyed my 1h drive. Got just over 20mil now, probably gonna go for the Merc, and skip the f1 and the other expensive car for now. 4 star ticket gave me a lambo murcielago, which was great! Already had one but fully tuned it up too run Spa so will leave this one in stock form to enjoy in other races.

Just installed gt7 on my "new-old" ps4 pro 70xx b bought for 320$ or 320 € (the ps4 pro)
and played musicrally.Got only silver in the first of two. That's all folk's

First, I got a better lap time for Daily Race A, and now I'm in the top 3k for my region. Then, I did the new race at Trial Mountain that's intended for American cars with about 700 PP, and then obtained a three-star ticket, which got me an okay 10k credits. Oh, and I also customized a blue Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA), complete with a widebody and livery, though I'm still waiting for a red one to pop up in the UCD.

Ran two WTC700’s, one with the A220 and one with the Citroen Gr.4. The troon had an excellent Jeje6740 tune,( I added the mid-rpm turbo to bump the pp). The weather patterns in both races had two cycles of rain for about 1/2 lap, then dry.

Ran one WTC800 with the FT-1500.

The wheel spit out another sports camshaft. Blech.

Did some WTC800 races at Tokyo and Fuji with the Subaru VGT. Setting it to full lean can get it to one stop. It does feel a bit floaty with the setup I have on it, might toy with it more.

On the Plus account, after finding the 4C Gr.4 too slow at Sarthe (4:31 in the dry isn't going to cut it, even on a 1-stop strategy), I almost had my 8-lap run there with the Red Bull Junior on RM tires. I had the fuel and the pace to get through 7 laps in exactly 30 minutes, but not the tires; crashing in the Porsche Curves on lap 7 as the back tires gave up the ghost.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing 30,000 Cr. It was still enough to get the Subaru VIZIV GT VGT.

On the GTP account, I took the 650S Gr.4 to Sarthe. It is rather fast (4:18 was my fast lap), but it is a fuel guzzler (I had to short-shift at 8,000 RPM to make it 3 laps on FM 1), and I doubt the tires would last 7 completely dry laps. Still, a win is a win while the 4-star Wheel of Despair gave me another VW Scirocco. I'm still about 3.4 million Cr. short of the 330 P4 in Hagerty's, but I bought 2 Alfa Romeo 4Cs and 4 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Finals for future engine "research", which put me almost 3.9 million Cr. short of that.

I finished up with some laps at Sardegna for this week's WRS time trial.

I did a couple of Spa race B. The first daily race I feel competitive in. Inching towards DR A now. Don't know if I should be happy about that as it will put me into tougher competition.

Half a million with a 4 star day before yesterday, half a million with a 5 star today. Very nice! I might bust the bank and buy that 20M Alfa!

How close i got to doing 8 laps... Its possible! Slightly better fuel management will get me there.

Had I not spun in the Porsche curves on lap 7 last night, that's how close I would have got, though lap 8 would have been on 2 flat rear tires and coasting at 50 mph.

I suppose I could try tuning the Red Bull. I figure if I trigger the pit sequence at about 29:30, I'll cross the finish line before the 30:00 mark, get some fuel and tires, and do a proper lap 8.

What are you using on your assault on an 8-lap Sarthe?

After struggling with the Gr.1 Prototype Series races for months, I realized I could just bring the difficulty down from hard to normal without any real consequences. So I did, then won at Daytona with the Gr.1 Hyundai VGT; I think it was by over 20 seconds, too. I previously had a 3rd-place finish with that car on hard, but I wanted to get gold. Even got the CRB! Now, it's onto St. Croix and Suzuka.

Honestly, I'm not even sure why PD even added a difficulty setting, what with how it was implemented in GT7. (You can change it at any time without any real consequence - the game even spells this out to you - and there's not even any bragging rights for setting it to hard.) In the next title, I'd really prefer the return of the more traditional setup, wherein there are Beginner/Amateur/Professional/Extreme/Endurance leagues.

On the Plus account, I found the Suzuki VGT Gr.3 as useless as its non-race counterpart. It doesn't have the fuel economy to do 5 laps at Sardegna at FM 1, and at the FM 3 required to get to 5 laps, it doesn't quite have the pace. I saw I hadn't used a stock R8 LMS Evo there, and did so to great effect, even though I needed to turn the fuel map down to 2 to get 5 laps out of the car.

That, and the 2nd-highest showing/2nd-highest possible 500,000 Cr. on the all-cash 5-star workout roulette (incidentally, the first time I received the 4th-lowest option an all-cash wheel), allowed me to get the Honda Super Formula.

On the GTP account, despite spinning rather dramatically on lap 6 to cost myself 15 seconds, I used the 2008 NSX GT500 with RH tires to great effect, finishing in 26:02. The 5-star roulette gave me the low-showing/lowest-possible 100,000 Cr.,

Ran one WTC700 with the Megane Trophy 11 and one WTC800 with the BRZ GT300. Since I'm pushing the credit cap,(99.5M), I ran various races at Willow Springs, Trial Mountain, and Blue Moon using the Camaro ZL1.

The wheel spit out a Renault R.S.01 GT3.

8x Sardegna races for a total of 380 miles and 5,816,000 cr.

Up to 13.9m credits with just over 16m needed for my last two LCD cars and then I'll have a complete collection!

I fell 10 seconds short of the 8th lap on Sarthe in my 787B swapped RX-7.

If only I went into pits for new tyres after 5 laps instead of pushing that extra lap. Lost control through the Porsche Corners due to no grip.

On the Plus account, I found the tuned Silvia S15 I used for Silvia Sisters is really just a tick or two too slow for Tokyo, but I still managed a blocking win in 28:04. It does just last 10 laps on fuel, the tires are good for all 12 laps, and I did get a fast lap of 2:15 flat, but it's too nervous in the wet.

The 4-star Wheel of Despair spat out the 2019 Toyota Supra, but I still had enough to get the SF19 Toyota. I now have 60 cars left to get on the Plus account...with a total cost of 317,449,500 Cr.

On the GTP account, I first grabbed another Mazda Touring Car for the new WRS time trial, and the SM tires required for said time trial, though I didn't turn any laps in it yet. I decided to go crazy and tune the Radical for Tokyo. I first used Exeter's settings (I had to fudge on the transmission as I couldn't get it to flip, but I did get his speeds there, and I held off on using the anti-lag. Like the S15, it wasn't quite fast enough, but it would have done a no-stop race. I then got the rest of the power upgrades (except an aftermarket turbo), put back on SH tires, lengthened the gearing somewhat (especially 6th), and had to take 1% off using the power restrictor to get back down to under 600 PP.

The race itself wasn't much to write home about. The Radical is a bit slow on the long straight, but if you hit the medium-speed corners right, it feels like it's on SM tires. I got down under 2:14 on the last lap, using just about every last drop of fuel (on FM 1) to get an easy (normal difficulty) win in 27:37.

It's not the cheapest way to grind Tokyo (that still, so far, goes to the C7 Corvette with some aero parts/tuning), but it's another option. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the usual lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. On this account, where I have a lot more duplicates (only partly because it's the one where I took part in the engine jubilee), I still have 159 cars to go, but "only" 277,214,400 Cr.
