After re-inputting all of the PP changes (and every single car I own had a change) into my spreadsheet, I finally got down to business on the GTP account. I first bought four each of the Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera, 1991 Honda Beat, 2018 Subaru BRZ STI Sport and 2016 Toyota 86 GT"Limited" for current and future engine purposes, widening 2 each of the latter 3 cars, and putting some bonus K20 engines in the Beats. I then bought the 2002 Honda NSX and 2017 Honda NSX out of sequence (I'm focusing on legendary cars, of which I have 11 left to get) to complete that extra menu (I already had the cars for the other extra menu), and the 1973 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R and 1980 Maserati Merak SS out of Hagerty's because I had the money and they were there.
I ditched those two cars in favor of an engine-swapped/widened 1989 Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX to do the new menu book. It is too greasy with an otherwise-stock setup, so I slapped some aero and racing parts on it, re-learned how to drive Goodwood, and managed a 1.5-second win in 7:20. Spa was much easier, yielding a 6.6-second win in 8:35. The Nurburgring was similarly easy, with an 8.2-second win in 8:15, but with a slide off near the end to ruin the clean race bonus.
I figured that was enough driving for the day, so I hit up Luca for the trio of tickets of Despair, to go along with the 4-star Wheel of Despair from the grind. The marathon Despair despaired, giving a computer for the Lexus LC500, the all-cash menu Despair also despaired, giving the lowest-showing/lowest-possible 10,000 Cr., the parts Despair gave a Stage 5 weight reduction for the GranTurismo S, while the engine ticket yielded a Rampage engine.
On the Plus account, I dispensed with the PP check and bought all 4 new cars as, on that account, I had the credits, I'm prioritizing low-priced cars, and all of them are under the 1,200,000 Cr. the next-cheapest Brand Central car on the list costs. I already had all the cars for the new extra menus, so I went straight to the cafe to do the new menu book. I didn't have a car that was very close to the PP, so I tuned up the C4 Corvette with all the bolt-on power parts, a full-custom transmission, racing brakes/pads/clutch, max aero, and a roll cage. I polished off Goodwood in 7:17, Spa in 8:36, and Nurburgring in 8:17.
The Wheels of Despair gave the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. on the workout 4-star, the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. on the menu book 4-star, the Mustang GT engine on the engine Despair, and titanium rods/pistons for the Toyota Crown Athlete Safety Car on the parts Despair.
8 tickets, one decent prize. It could be worse, but I don't see how.
