What did you do in GT7 today?

Did my usual 3 track credit grind, shot some photos for the "scapes" trophy and bought a couple cheap cars at the used dealership. 3M credits away from getting the McLaren in the LCD. Then I got to get the Cobra and I'm going to let the GTO go. I would rather start buying some of the extra menu cars as I may actually use those and they will pay out with engine roulette tickets.

I started the morning taking the old Alpine out for a walk at La Sarte 2 times in a row, headphones on and just enjoy that lift of blow off valve sound from this car, without a doubt the best turbo sounding car in GT7, could do 5 laps on FM6 but switching between 4 and 5 to burn some wxtra fuel on the exits of the chicanes by reving the hell out of the limiter
@7 mil now, so with the TT payout i prob am at 12M this weekend, grinding to 23 to complete all cars

Well, if you've bought everything already and can't earn anymore credits, I guess you might as well buy more of the same cars.
i even bought all the colors of all gr4 to gr1, some vgt’s. going to buy all cars in different colors.😅

Sounds like we're on a pretty similar path at the moment! 3 mil to go for the McLaren, then the Cobra; 250 will be some other time...

I'm grinding for the McLaren by running Sardegna over and over. Last night I used the Lexus LF-LC GT VGT (which is an absolute gem for this event, I can highly recommend it!), the Alpine VGT 2017, the Alpine VGT Race, and then back into Gr.3 machinery with the Evo Gr.3.

all from tokyo 600
Best car to use and stragtegy to get through fast? I remember the days of the SRT Vision GT PP glitch but don’t know what’s the most efficient now haha

For Tokyo, Aston Martin VGT still seems to be one of the quickest options. Swapped Cappuccino is a little rocket ship worth a try too.

Tried Praiano's AMG A45 tune on Tokyo and his Charger tune on LeMans. Got an invitation for Aston Martin (I can't believe). Bought two of both, just o be save .

Now "just" Escudo and Roadster are left to finish the collection.
Great. This will be done in 2025 I think :ill:

On the Plus account, I used the SLS AMG GT3 to get the credits and mileage out of Sardegna. The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave the usual low-showing cash prize, but it was a bit better than usual as it was 30,000 Cr.

On the GTP account, I used the Audi R8 LMS Evo at Sardegna. The 4-star marathon roulette gave an Amuse NISMO 380RS, which I hung onto for now.

Bought another 512BB. Tuned it and my Hellcat Charger, ran both at LeMans once. Got a Vantage V8 GR.4 from the wheel. I then tuned it and ran LeMans. Not the fastest, but fast enough. Great handling and brakes, easy on tires and fuel.

Got home pretty early from work. Did two Spa 800 and a Sardegna 800. Turns out that I had enough time to do Spa 800 three times instead, lol.

On the GTP account, I tried a few joker laps at the Streets of Willow Springs Reverse for this week's WRS time trial with a Ford Focus Gr.B. I then set a marginally-silver time in the online time trial with the popular WRX Gr.4. Before I went to Sarthe for the grind with the other Focus Gr.B, I took usual 5,000-Cr. pasting from the 3-star Wheel of Despair.

On the Plus account, I used the GT by Citroen Gr.4 at Sarthe for the grind. The (wait for it) 3-star Wheel of Despair gave (wait for it) the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

Does it have cockpit view in GT7? Because I remember liking this car a lot in Sport, but the lack of cockpit view made me use it not that much (that's the view I always use). Btw I also use a Lexus to grind Sardegna and Spa, but I run the RC-F GT500 instead, wonderful car!

9th in the Nations Cup at Road Atlanta.
Tested my original GT3/4 Driving Force wheels with GT7, both flashed different error codes. They were working when I stored them.

Last night I did the usual 3 track grind, bought the McLaren like everyone else has. Gave it some Racing Hard tires and took it out on Sardegna. Nice acceleration, nice handling, great on fuel and tires but OMG!!!! the brakes are terrible and you can't upgrade them. Not even the pads.

I was really hoping this could be another car to grind Sardegna with but the brakes are so atrocious when compared to all the other great things this car has to offer. I'm not sure if it's going to be worth the headaches.

Anyway, my roulette ticket got me 500k credits, I did end up winning Sardegna so got another 723k, completed the Road Atlanta circuit experience, got another 1.2M, finally finished the high soeed ring circuit experience, got another 1M there so I had enough in the piggy bank to buy the Cobra. I did that then bought a couple more used cars and had another roulette ticket I won for it crossing over midnight and got a BRZ engine. I already had one of those, so now I have 2.

Tonight I'm doing my usual 3 track grind, but I decided to record Tokyo to help people with getting the clean race bonus on that one. I also have been recording some other missions/challenges to post here to help other people out. So my daily grind has a mild amount of change with the recording/commentary added to them.

Now saving for the Porsche 962 C and the Toyota 2000GT. They are cheap, so that won't take long.

Well, I bought the 962 C from the LCD. Immediately put on Racing Hard tires, dropped the power and added some ballast to get it to 799.99pp. Took it out to Sardegna with no other changes. Stock suspension adjustments, stock transmission. Ran my fastest race on that track first time.

So with a little tuning, I see this car being a monster credit grinder. Plus, I can use it on the GR.1 races off the extra menu races. I highly recommend the car. It's acceleration, top speed, handling and braking are all well balanced. It is super easy on fuel and tire wear is good.

Not sure, actually. I parked it in my garage for the night, to try out today at some stage. I'll report back once I've driven it. I too like cockpit view, but I find it hard to use in most of the race cars, especially things like the LMP cars.

Correction, now 8th in the Nations Cup, Round 3, in my second race. I also ran the Group 1 event twice at Road Atlanta, missing the CRB in every single race there. My goal was simply to beat all AI and not make contact with any other cars at all. I rear ended on AI car lightly and t boned a non ghosted human car that had lost control and taken us both into the grass. I ran off the road a few times too, but I'd rather do that than hit another car. Single player is good for practicing this, in multiplayer it ruins someone's race.
I also revenge "rammed" some dude who pushed me off of Alsace in Race B. It was worth risking the S SR rating to add insult to the injury of a 4 second penalty. That car was ghosted when I did that, but it was still very satisfying! Same race some dude slammed me off the track on the final lap. I recovered quickly and followed them to the last hairpin... where they spun, allowing me to pass and finish before them. Karma's a grouch, yes?
Then I cleaned out the Honda dealer with the money won by running over 250 miles and four hours at Road Atlanta.
Oh, and even as horrible as Race B was, I never did quit. I won't quit because if I stay in, I've beaten everyone who did quit.

Jan 15th

- back on logging in my GT7 activities. After a week grinding and testing my gr.3 cars at Sardegna, today I golded its CE. It has been so long since I last drove that Audi R18. And what a ride that is! I didn't remember It been so cool to drive!

- also bought a second Toyota 2000GT from the LCD with the Pegasus White color which seems to me to be the right color for this car. I had bought a Gray one before. Also, its distance driven... It's only 7 kms (!!!)

- Maybe I'll spend the reward of the CE on buying the Porsche 962C.

Did some practice laps for next week's A race, which looks to be a fun one.

For my daily ticket I got the Aston invite... which I was actually waiting for! Now that I have (well, had) 30 mil in the bank I bought both the Aston invite cars that I will probably never use. But, was cool to actually get an invite when I pseudo-wanted one. Now I just need the Bugatti and I'll have all the invite cars.

Bought the 1962 Ferrari GTO. What a cool car. Have created a 1960s "GT" race with cars from that era tuned to 580-590pp. Will throw them with the LM Jag, Ferrari, Ford, Alpine, and Porsche for a Le Mans grid soon :)

Well let's see.. woke up EARLY this morning & had a wild hair to get caught up with just over 10M in the bank .. first things first, check Legends to see if my '97 Strassen was back in stock, nope! sigh .. but while scrolling through, yeah, I found this speedster to bring into the fold for 1.5M..

The '88 962..

Aaaaand off to livery for the usual NW-BB conversion.. decals & logos bye-bye, imo, YUK!.. soooo..

962-03.jpg

.. stock she's at 690HP.. thought "that's not bad".. but decided to peek into the tuning shop to see if there was any chance that I could improve that.. and what's this ?? the only item available, a med. turbocharger that I picked up, installed, taking the HP up to 987!!!!.. damn, that's a helluva improvement .. So off to Trial Mountain I go for the ol' Time Trial.. 1st run..

PS4/DS4
