After a few days away for work and preparing for a big work meeting, I came back in time to get the Ferrari GTO and the Sauber C9 before they sold out. Then jumped onto Sardegna for a few rounds of grindage in the Mustang Gr.3 to start raising funds for the GT40 (before it sells out in a few days) and then need to grind like mad to get that McLaren! @Spook_ how does it drive? Is it worth the expenditure??

After I saw my credits go down to 32m a week ago I finally grinded them back to 95m today just in case I ever get the chance to buy 20 fxx-k to join my 20 p1 gtrs which I test drove all 20 today.:)

And that's what I did today in gt7.

And I also got a 3 star but lets not talk about that. :(

Same thing I’ve been doing for the past 4 months or so now, play for about 30 mins, any random race(s) that seem like fun just enough to get the daily miles for the roulette ticket in the off chance I can get one of the 2 engines for swaps I don’t have or a special part for one of my favorite cars.

On the GTP account, the AI was rather aggressive in blocking at Sardegna. Still, the Aston Martin DBR9 made short work of it. The resulting no-cash 5-star marathon roulette gave a Peugeot RCZ Gr.B Rally Car, which will save me 450,000 Cr. later.

On the Plus account, I misjudged the fuel needed to do a 1-stop run with the Viper GT3-R and had to run the last lap in 6th gear. Still, it was an easy win, while the 4-star workout roulette gave a carbon prop shaft for the AMG VGT.

Finished Menu Book 41, the Kei cars one. Don't own a Cappuccino, so had to do them with a Honda S660. Had such a bad time racing this one that I just aimed for 3rd place in all 3 races, just to be done with it.

Tried to get gold on some license bits, but got frustrated (again) over not being able to setup the car. I hate oversteer and most of the trial cars do.

Been dominating the Human Comedy races today. Beat Tsukuba, Deep Forest and Red Bull Ring. All with pretty large leads. Glad to have a forum like this to discuss cars, strategies and setups. Then ran daily race C a couple times. Won against all C level drivers then got put in to a race with some B drivers. Those guys drove like cun*s. Got punted off the track twice. Saw so many others getting punted around as well. Comments after the race were not friendly.

Edit: Best racing I have ever been in on Human Comedy - Lake Maggiore. Such a challenging race and the feeling of despair you have throughout 90% of it makes the last 5 minutes so worth the wait.

I was losing by 1 minute with 20 minutes to go. Slowly it got down to 30 seconds with others pitting, then down to 18 seconds with 5 minutes left. I was ready to accept a bronze medal on this one when out of nowhere Yamanaka in his Supra blocks 5 cars on the back straight. Bless those idiots at the back of the pack going 70mph blocking traffic. Boom, I'm 8 seconds behind and in 4th place. Another guy pits, 3rd place. Then I look at my fuel... Oh no. 5 minutes of the race to go and I only have 2.6 laps left in the tank. This race is going to go for 3 more laps. I miscalculated my last fuel stop. I drop down to FM6 and short shift for a little bit to conserve .4 laps of fuel but I see the time between myself and first place start to slip. At this point I'm thinking my chances are over....

Then Yamanaka strikes again!!! This time slowing down first and second place. I move in to 2nd just a second behind Inostroza and his pace is hurting. 2 laps to go and I stuff it on the inside of turn one forcing him to go wide. Drop it to 1st and hard lock the wheel to the right at the hairpin. Throw it on FM1 and I'm in 1st place going down the hill and gaining some time on the 911. Through the esses and I'm over a second up, but I know I'm not the best at the last few turns of the track so Im keeping an eye out for him to make a move. Alas, we arrive at the final lap of the 1 hour race:

Today I randomly came across the recent sub 50-second lap record by Fire Ando at Tsukuba - 49:897 -
- go to 6:15 for the actual lap.

- and I totally had to try that with my tuned cars. All driving aids off, manual transmission, steering wheel, pedals + clutch and h-shifter, using medium racing tires.
I'm a mediocre driver and couldn't manage it by a long shot, I came closest with my TVR Tuscan Speed 6 with a 54:372. Its not the most powerful car but its agility / mechanical grip is unmatched.

It took my freaking Jaguar XJR-9 Group-C car on medium tires with a brutal city-track max down force low gear ratio setup to beat his time by .200 of a second.

I'm going to try again with some brutal Nissan Skyline and Mitsubishi Evo tunes and see if I can get any closer.
I wish GT7 had more aero parts for tunes like Time-Attack / Hillclimb style front splitters.

For reference, Fire Ando's Tsukuba lap record was done with treaded street legal tyres, not slicks!

So uh, well done for beating a road-based chassis on road-legal treaded tyres with a racing-bred prototype on racing slicks I guess?

I've never even reached that. Topped out around 22 mil. Currently 12....
Hehe I would never let my credits get that low even last week when I bought a full grid of my all time favorite car I almost cried when I saw my credits go down to 32m.

But I have worked my butt off over the last week grinding those 3 races over and over again averaging a per day mile of over 500 to get back to 100m( currently at 97.3m)an in doing so I have started to buy cars again now my collection is over 254 cars in my garage and 245 cars collected.

In for what I did today I bought a few gr4 cars.

And got another 3 star.

I did Tokyo with the Aston Martin VGT, then took it to LeMans where I actually used the wet tires as I had a torrential downpour on lap 3. Then I took the 962 to Sardegna. I got 2 4 star tickets because I finished my 1st race@ 11:30 pm then finished the 2nd race after 12. So tickets 30k on both

I had a Stage 5 weight reduction for a Murcielago LP 640. So, I bought it, tuned it at 700pp and also maxed out,(a bit over 800pp). Fast at 700pp, a beast at max. Ran a few at LeMans with it. Also bought a Huracan LP610 and did the same. Got a Lexus SC 430 GT 500 from the wheel.

Figured I’d run Tokyo to bank some more credits just in case they add some expensive stuff in the next update so I can buy it all even if the last $20 million car I need comes up in the LCD soon.

On the Plus account, I took the Dodge Viper Gr.4 to a Sarthe race that was so wet, I spun on full-wet tires. Still, it was a win, and the 4-star marathon roulette gave a stage 5 weight reduction for the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette.

On the GTP account, I endured multiple sectors of yellow-flag conditions en route to a win in the McLaren 650S Gr.4. The disappointment continued with the 3-star Wheel of Despair giving me the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

In my post I said it took me a freaking Group-C car to beat the time, which makes Ando's time even more impressive.

Though I have to say he probably has twice the low-speed aero of any of my cars - just look at the front splitter. I wish we had more aggressive aero options to do time-attack-style racing.

Today I bought new cars to drive and got even madder cause now the game has decided to not even give me a chance at the Ferrari invite by only giving me 3 star tickets everyday.

:(

Did a couple of races at Sardegna and bought the Mclaren F1 GTR. I used Praiano's 800pp setup at Lago Maggiore 800pp 10 lap race. Also did a new sheet for 730 and detuned it to 700pp for Le Mans. I did a quick try but I must find the correct gearbox ratios
