Did Tokyo touring car 600 tonight got crb with my favorite car 91 engine swap cappuccino came in first I Fraga comes in second every time I race tonight M Grady came in second with I Fraga third first time this has happened in the months since racing Tokyo interesting turn out wheel of sadness spit out 3 star ticket for 10,000 credits 😭

My last 2 roulette tickets gave me a Bugatti invitation (already purchased the Veyron) and a fully customizable computer for an RX-7 for which I already have one installed, so two useless roulette tickets as of late.

Fixed an imported GTS livery, done a few races and sold off a ton of cars I don't use. Ran time trial laps for setups on several cars.
Did a Historical Cars race on the Nurburgring in a Porsche 911, closed up to the frontrunner's rear end coming up the long straight on the last lap, just to see him pull a 5.8s gap and win the rabbit chase by a mile. Weird AI physics.

Ticket rewarded me a Ferrari invitation, which I also got 2 days ago.
Total waste.

It was swap day at LeMans. Ran the Firebird/LS9 swap with Mr.P's (700pp) tune. Excellent. Also the Alfa 4C/ Ferrari engine swap with Mr.P's (600pp) tune that I just bumped up to 700pp. Outstanding at 700pp. Undriveable maxed out- wheelies, snap oversteer under braking, etc. Both cars under 4 mins. there.

I also ran the Deep Forest 10-lapper with the Alfa 4C. I had to pit twice for gas, but the car's so fast, I kept the lead on the second stop.

I discovered I had another car I've never used- an Alfa 8C Competizione. Tuned it and ran LeMans. Excellent at 700pp.

Got 10k from the wheel.

After I bought 5 extra McLaren f1 gtr 95 which saw my credits reduce to 41m I went all night and got them back to 55m, 14m in one night. :)

And once again I got another 3 star that's 5 3 stars in a roll Real Disheartening. :banghead::(

I bought 2 more Alpines from Hagertys downloaded a few liveries for them. Then I took one of my other Alpine I had previously to LeMans there was no rain but I still swapped to IMs because I didn't trust that it wouldn't rain still won by a large margin. Got 500K from the wheel

Did some Sport races practising with MT - didn’t come last so that’s something.

Ticket prize - already had about 5 of these. Shame we can’t gift them, heard there was someone here who’d be very interested.

After a few days of hiatus due to the Festival di Sanremo and getting the platinum on Spiritfarer, tonight I went back behind the G29.

Looks like last time I played I actually dried up my GT bank account completely, as I only had 36k. Whoops. I was still in the RC-F GT500 and was still wearing my ZENT suit so I did a quick Sardegna just to gather some money, and then officially started my GT7 evening.

I wanted revenge against the Human Comedy, and I've been thinking about giving @Meythia's strategy a try, so with the newly acquired money I hopped in my Stratos and headed for the Deep Forest mission.

Well this was... unexpected. Last time with the 458 the best I could do was a 1:38 while this time, basically from lap 2 onwards, I was running on 1:35-1:36 constantly. I catched up with the Taycan on his pit stop and was still ahead when he pitted for the second time, despite being spun into oblivion by the R34 in the beginning of the race. A very easy one stopper with FM1 and a fun car to drive, the gearing designed to take on most corners on 3rd gear threw me off a bit at the beginning but I got used to it after a while.

Since I was taking on Human Comedy, I thought "why not" and decided to try the BAC Mono mission. So I bought one and slapped Master @praiano63's tune on it and took on Trial Mountain.

At first I hated this car with my whole self, especially since I first tried a different tune from the Human Comedy thread which was completely undrivable, then with Master's setup and a bit of patience (and most of all, Sport Soft tyres all the way) it turned out to be a really fun race. AI is very slow so winning is not an issue, I won with an extra lap and you all know how bad I am.

Finished the night with 2.88mil, not enough to buy the Giulia Zagato. If it's still there tomorrow then I'll farm the remaining money, otherwise I'll buy the A220. I also got a wonderful 4* Wheel of (Mis)Fortune ticket which gifted me high lift camshafts for the 2017 Alpine A110. Meh.

Did Sardegna 800 in a Mercedes AMG GT3. Cruising it home, without a tyre change. Went out on RM's, which got pretty shot by the end of lap 13, but held on until the end. 2 refuels needed, but kept a 20 second lead.
Clean races, bagging 1,5mln in an hour. Not a lot worse than my GTS grind race (Gr.1 Monza GT League grind).

@Strax, the Giulia sold out now.

Ahhh that's too bad, guess I'll buy myself the A220 and the Countach later today then.

I was really hoping that the 911 GT1 Strassenversion would replace the Porsche 356 speedster but it’s the 550 Spyder. Bought that and completed the mid-engine Porsche collection, got an engine (SR20DET), and also did an absurd amount of grinding and now have 75 million credits total. Are we seriously limited to 100 million credits at a time or did I read something wrong?

Changed the colour of my suit because ... well, because ... and noticed that my pit crew changed their suits too. That gave me a chuckle.

Won a Dodge Tomahawk on a five star roulette wheel. It was a variant that I didn't have so decided to keep it. Happy days.

Took the Aston Martin VGT to Lemans. Got 5k from a 3* ticket. I guess it's too much to expect decent prizes 2 days in a row

Bought a 458 Italia, tuned it, ran LeMans once with it. I also found a Silvia S13 Qs under a pile of lumber in the my garage, which, luck would have it, I had an engine for, (SR20DET-Silvia-S15). Tuned it up and ran LeMans once with it, too. Interesting car with the swap. I fiddled with Mr.P.'s S13 '88 tune for it, maxing out the rear aero and changing the brake balance to -5. Mostly stable under braking now, but not quite perfect. At a bit over 500bhp, it'll hit 190mph, but the 5-spd. gearbox limits it's acceleration through the gears.

Got 5k from the wheel.

Not the most proficuous of days today. As the Giulia was sold out I spent a large part of my 2mil buying the A220 and the LP400 Countach, which meant it was once again time to hit the grind. Have been thinking about taking my Alfa 155 DTM out of storage for a while, so I did exactly that and brought it at Le Mans.

Solid race with very little rain in what I think is the best Gr.4 car in the game, at least among the ones I've tried. Two stopper on FM4 with RM tires, lots of penalties (literally out of nowhere) and I still won by 40+ seconds, what a car!

Hitting the 1,3 mil I decided to try and take something else out of deep storage, so what I did was basically to go to the bottom of my car list, check those that I have at least used once, and see if they are viable for something. Turns out that #3 on said list, the 1969 Camaro Z/28, can do 700pp races.

Not the easiest car to tame and definetly not the most effective going around the Porsche Curves, but devilishly fast on the straights even on FM6 (which you need for a two-stopper). Unfortunately weather was complete bollocks, going wet around the end of Les Hunaudieres after being almost clear until a second before, obviously right after my first stop, so I found myself on slicks with full wet water level with AI cars in the same situation but with no grip lost whatsoever. It was late, so I decided I'll have my revenge tomorrow since I'm getting a bit tired.

Wheel of (Mis)Fortune today was again a 4* and gave me a Ferrari invitation. This is nice as I never got one before, since the only cars available at Hagerty right now that I still miss are super expensive I'll focus on the three invitation only Ferrari.

After taking a couple days off, I tried this week's WRS time trial. I ended up having to throw it all away because of curb contact.

Naturally, the Wheel of Despair didn't take pity, giving the low-showing 10,000 Cr. Instead, I used the RH-shod 2008 Honda NSX GT500 to get the credits out of Sardegna.

On the Plus account, I started (continued, really, given I just did the Sardegna/Sarthe double with the Dodge Viper GT3-R/Gr.4) running the grinds with cars that have both Gr.3 and Gr.4 versions, doing Sardegna with the Alfa Romeo 4C. I needed a 1-stop strategy (FM4 on the first stint, FM3 on the second) for a close win. The 4-star marathon roulette dispensed another Charger safety car, which got flipped for 30,100 Cr.

Did 3x Sardegna, 1rst run in an AMG GT3, 2nd run in a Porsche 911 RSR, 3rd run in a DBR9.
3 wins, 3 clean races despite horribly dumb AI drivers.
Daily horror ticket gave me 30K credits.

Re-tuned my swapped Nissan Silvia S13 Ks '90, bought a Ferrari F12, tuned it. Ran both once at LeMans. Got the Isle of Man WRX from the wheel and promptly sold it.

You always get CRB at Sardegna unless you overtake with the yellows, even if the AI constantly sends you into oblivion at every corner

After a clean Sardegna, the daily roulette dropped a cool million credits. I can't quite afford the GT40 so I'm biding my time. Might go for the F1. Decisions, decisions!

GTP lads, I'm tapping out. I just ordered a Retro Fighters Defender Wireless Controller and AV to HDMI Converter. I'll be going back to the PS2 games, GT3, GTC, GT4P and GT4. I'll check out GT7 in 3rd/4th quarter of the year and see what's new.

Today I did more grinding got my credits back to 70m after going down to 41m on monday.

Also got a 3 star and 5k:lol:
I wish I had your dedication to the grind. Only have around 20 cars left to buy, but they are all mega expensive.
Sitting on about 800k only at the moment. A million to come tomorrow from the TT but I don't think I can face Sardegna/Spa/Sarthe anymore. I mostly just play in Sport now.

No F1 for me :(

I think that has to do with jrpgs being my favorite genre of games. I been playing them for over 20 years. In jrpgs grinding the same enemies for levels and items is a big part of them and I'm used to it, Final fantasy and star ocean are my two favorites and boy do you need to grind in most cases in those games.:)

Yep, that is why I never finished FF7 back in the day, or Ni No Kuni more recently.

I did LeMans with the Aston Martin then I took the R92CP to Sardegna. I got a part for car I don't have the Tributo so I thought about buying one but that would have meant I would lose money on a 3* ticket. I started the Neo classic menu book using the 7887b and won at Red Bull Ring then went to Big Willow and remembered why I don't like that track

Willow Springs is unforgiving, to be sure.

Really? I didn't know that. So, you're telling me I've been driving on my toes for nothing? 👀

Good to know I don't have to mind crashing into some dumb AI or a barrier anymore. 😂
