What did you do in GT7 today?

Really? I didn't know that. So, you're telling me I've been driving on my toes for nothing? 👀

Good to know I don't have to mind crashing into some dumb AI or a barrier anymore. 😂
Yes, Sardegna is very forgiving. I've had some horrendous crashes and still got the CRB. The one weird thing I've found is that sometimes the last-placed car drives round incredibly slowly and is very easy to crash into by mistake. But even then it does seem to matter for the CRB.

Can't seem to get gold on the full Nordschleife lap. Been a few days now that I get times between 6:38.500 - 6:40.000
Today I got my best time of 6:38.400 All goes fine until Bergwerk, then the small mistakes happen.

What do you mean overtake the yellows?
Overtaking with the yellow flags out, do that and you lose the CRB even in the three forgiving races.

So today was a bit more varied of a day. First of all as I said, I had some revenge to take at Le Mans with the Z/28, and so I did. With no heavy rain halfway through a lap on RH and being less tired, I won with ease. Thanks to said money I could buy my first Ferrari invitational car:

And given that I had just spend 1,6mil on it I thought, why not give it a try immediately? So I gave it Master's old tune, which still kinda works even on the current PP calculation system, and went to take on Sardegna. But first of all, I did what many would call blasphemy...

To me that's sexy as hell! Driving it was also very nice as the car handles beautifully, but I wouldn't really recommend it for Sardegna: fuel consumption is high and thus you'll be shortshifting quite a lot, also I hate having to handle KERS energy throughout the race, since you really feel when there is no more hybrid power. But still, managed to win by a couple seconds over Mendoza, love the car but racing it? Not so much.

It was still a bit early so why not taking out of my garage one of the cars I've last used ages ago? Today was the turn of the 2006 Ford GT, which I kinda turned into a Gr.4 car.

Best drive of the day, one stopper on FM6 at Le Mans with luckily no rain. Easy win by a minute or so, really lovely car. Wheel of (Mis)Fortune was very kind to me, with the 4* ticket gifting me 500k.

For the first time since launch, I am at over 20M credits. I have bought every car along the way except for the the 917 and the 5 20M cars.

Numbers below taken from "My GT7 Page". I don't know how up to date they are-

Cars Bought, 388. Credits Spent on Cars, Cr. 331,367,632. Credits Spent on Customization, Cr. 1,968,580. Credits Spent on Tuning, Cr. 38,043,340. Car Collection Progress, 99%. Total Credits Acquired, Cr. 395,929,527. Play Time, 22:20:30. Total Distance Driven, 75670.88 km.

On the Plus account, I discovered it takes just the right set of weather conditions to win Sarthe on normal difficulty in the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4. It poured between the beginning of lap 4 and the end of lap 5, allowing for a 6-lap race. I was the only one to take full-wet tires on lap 3, while Solis (who finished 2nd) was the only car to take intermediates then. The 3-star Wheel of Despair (the third this month) didn't exactly honor my hundreds of miles, giving the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr. for the second time this month.

On the GTP account, I sent my NSX Gr.B mule to Sarthe. The (wait for it) 3-star Wheel of Despair spewed (wait for it) the low-showing 10,000 Cr.

Did some Sardegna grinding in a Lexus SC430 GT500 out of the box. FM1, RM's just needing 1 stop and finishing around 26:50 the fastest, no bashing AI or barriers.
Other runs were a bit slower due to AI being stupid. what a sweet ride, even without tunings.

4 star daily milage ticket reward: Genesis Gr.3. That gave me some bad GTS horror wheel memories...

Ran around testing an engine swapped S13 Silvia. It's a laughable car to drive. Ran Le Mans, got some credits, bought the only car in the used dealership I didn't own then got my 5 star roulette ticket opened. A Ferrari invite. Nice. That's the last invite I needed.

I tried Big Willow again and I still suck there.I will probably do the CE there to help out. Then I took the 787b to the Watkins Glen 800. I really enjoyed that race but the payout was only 200k. Got a 4* ticket from which I got 30k. I wish they would add a couple more money making races.

Battery management is what keeps me from buying the hybrid cars. I just don't want to bother with it.

This was my first time trying a hybrid and I have to say, I've hated every second of it as soon as the battery started running out. It gets boring as hell to do slow laps recharging it, having to care about coasting and braking differently, not a pleasant experience indeed. It's going to be nothing more than a garage queen from now on, I guess

Today I got my credits up to 80m and did the math to how much x10 fxxk, x10 laferrari, x10 enzo will cost and its 76m at most I just need that invite.:(

Also got another 3 star in which I'm building a pretty good 3 star ticket collection I must say since its all I been getting for the last 7 days now.

Yesterday ended up being a snow day for me, so I had a few hours to dedicate to doing some races. I did my favorite series, the 800 WTC championship, for the daily mileage. Then I started doing a few CEs to build up the bank account. At the end, I went into the LCD and bought another F1 GTR short tail. I love that car! I dont know which livery it will get just yet, but now I need to start saving for that elusive F1 road car.

With it being a snow day, and me skipping 2 days earlier in the week, I doubled up on the racing. On the Plus account, the AMG SLS AMG GT3/Gr.4 was next up, and unlike the Alfas from the previous 2 days, it took no tomfoolery to win at Sardegna or Sarthe. The Wheel of Despair wasn't impressed, chucking a lowest-possible 10,000 Cr. from a 4-star.

On the GTP account, after collecting my 250,000 Cr. from the online time trial, I used the Subaru BRZ GT300 at Sardegna and the Toyota 86 Gr.4 at Sarthe, The 4-star Wheel of Despair gave not the lowest-possible 10,000 Cr., but an Aston Martin invite. Never mind that I have all the invite cars I could ever want.

Been driving terribly tonight, but I did end up doing a Daily Race C in the M6 Endurance. Started in 12th and ended in 6th despite being spun out by a guy. That 6 position gain apparently graduated me to the DR B class. That's a bit nerve racking to think about, but it should be exciting.

I’m headed the other way. Spent the evening running at the back of daily B so my DR will tank back down to C. I don’t have lots of time to practice and race like others, means B level is just a bit too fast for me at the moment.

Using MT all the time now, pretty much matching my auto times. Switch has been easier than I expected.

Bought a RE Amemiya FD3S RX-7 2004 because I had an Ultra-High RPM turbo for it. Tuned it and ran LeMans once. It was much better than I thought it was going to be. A pleasant surprise that will be great in the 550-650pp races.

I also bought an Alfa 4C Gr.3 Road Car. Tuned it and ran LeMans once with it. Not the fastest, but great handling and grip. Slow at FM6, much better at FM4, came alive at FM1. A gas hog at 2.2 laps at FM4.

Got 10k from the wheel.

Today I got so close to Gold on the Licence IA-10 Tricky Consecutive Corners 3 only a second off.
I have been doing this Licence for around 10 months now and I have managed gold on all the others but this last one on IA Number 10 test with the Mercedes AMG GTR-17 it is a bit tricky to say the least as you most probably already know.
Perseverance is the key LOL, then on to the S-Class which I fear may take me a couple of years or never get done but it will be fun trying.
One thing I have got a question on is when I watch the demonstration and see braking points and where the car is on the track at what speeds etc if I follow the demo exactly my car always slides off or very wide at same speeds? Is it me or is the demo just a demo without the same simulation of the test?

EDIT I have just done 58.058 and the Gold time is 57.900 so close looks like I am getting there!!!

Yeah, I'm guessing I'll ping pong between DR B and C for a while. I don't do sport races that much. Maybe 5 or 6 races per week. They are fun and I do think they improve my overall driving, but they don't pay you much and end up taking more time than running Tokyo or Sardegna when you include qualifying. So I may not get much better than this level if I don't start racing these races regularly.

Can't do anymore just not good enough Gold on S-1 S-2 S-3. S-4 I find impossible I do it what I thing is near perfection no dramas fast and braking in the zones good bends etc yet still about 7 seconds off gold time? Watched the demo do it exactly the same and lose about 9 seconds from the demo time............. god knows, I got bronze that will have to do.
S-5 is rallying my pet hate got bronze that will do, Gold on S-6, Bronze on S-7 that car is to quick for me to see straight never mind steer lol hated it but it was fun at the same time.
S-8 bronze with the Zonda cannot keep it on the track I am sure mine has a puncture as that is how it handles lol, S-9 Silver and S-10 Bronze very slippy and slidy that is so got bronze and I know I am not going to improve so that will do I have completed the Licences.

I was in the same boat, way off the pace, almost all just bronze. In the end I decided to completely ignore the demonstration ghost and use my own instead. Set it to be 0.3 secs quicker and tried to keep up. Gradual improvements and I eventually got gold in all but S-10 (my personal nemesis).

Work on the circuit experiences for these tracks. You will get better at them and earn some good credits. When you gold the CE then go back and get gold on the license.

Yes I have been doing the Circuit Experiences lots of good fun, not got all gold, got a few gold at each track but I found just one section on every track I couldn't get gold so had to settle for all bronze prizes.
I have passed the licences and it would be nice to be all gold but I know it took me 10 months to get gold in all of them apart from S-Class where I have 4 gold and the rest nearly all bronze. I am not good enough to get golds in the faster cars also I am colour blind so even knowing the track in a fast car the bends come up so fast I end up late braking as it throws me and off I go lol. I know my limitations lol. I could get my son do it he has all gold on his game but what is the point in that I would feel like I am a cheat.
Cheers.

I have been having a go at those mission challenges lol Moby Dick one and Gone with the Wind, Far to difficult I think I need to put it down now limit achieved.
Thanks for the help guys appreciate it.
