Quite a lot of things to talk about today! First things first I wanted to do a bit of racing on the Grand Valley circuit so I started with the Japanese Clubman Cup 550 on the South layout. Decided I'd do it in the AE86 Levin that I had used for Human Comedy and then tuned up to 600pp.
Won the race with ease, and given that it's a 600pp car and that one of the races was the WTC600 on the full course, that was naturally the next step. As much as this car was useless on Tokyo 600pp, as deadly it was on GV. Ate through them all despite Haywood in the Huracan always attempting at my life and making me lose the CRB. Won by 10 seconds anyways and moved on to the American Sunday Cup 600, which I attempted with a full stock 580-something PP Corvette C8 that I had never driven before. Everyone was basically a mobile chicane except for Solis in the Viper, with whom I've had a very fun last lap and eventually overtook.
Now it was time for the Historic Car Masters, for which I decided to bring back my psychopathic pocket rocket, the 578pp Autobianchi A112 Abarth.
With this insane small car I had already beaten the menu related to this series, and so much fun it was to drive in in GV! It's completely unpredictable, she's oversteering as if it was a RWD and all of a sudden it's aiming for a wall, and the turbo whistle is sooo powerful! Love it, love every second spent driving it! Only race missing was the Gr.1 event which I did in the Mazda LM55 VGT, on FM6 it can complete the whole race without pit stop but it needs a tire change, so I did a couple laps on FM6, then down to 4, and eventually down to 1. Gallo was my only rival since he doesn't pit but he couldn't stand a chance when I went to FM1, so I brought home the (very low) payout.
Speaking of which, I still needed money since all these races were fun but not rewarding, so I took on Le Mans. Remember the stock C8 mentioned before? Well she's not so stock anymore.
This is utterly insane: fast as hell, handles nicely, and it's the most gentle car I've seen on the tires, I've done the whole race on the original set of RH and pitted (twice) only for fuel, with the last stop being nothing more than a splash and go. What a car! And with the 825k won this way, I bought the third and last car from the new update:
Now I have them all except for the Italdesigns, but I couldn't care less about hybrid VGTs so I can call it a day. Next in line are, not in this specific order, the GT500 Skyline, Benz 300 SL and Enzo.
Wheel of (Mis)Fortune today was a 4* and gifted me a 2019 GR Supra which I didn't have, probably gonna look for a 600pp Tokyo setup for it.
