Bought the TwinTub , sorry I meant the 2J . I'll never get all gold to win it 🤣 oh yeah that took me to level 50 on the car collection thing and we'll that's all folks it seems .
I couldn't really bring myself to grind credits yesterday, I had an underwhelming session, especially after giving up on that 600PP race on Tokyo Expressway, like, twice. The AI likes to play dirty, sometimes, especially when you're so close to ending up victorious.
So today, I had a few things in mind. Try the S license after putting it off for so long, grind credits through races and circuit experiences and waste time by making liveries and photos.
Didn't bother with the licenses. I'm just lazy, what can you do. Couldn't get my creative juices to flow, either, I had no idea what livery to make, nor what photos to take.
Ah, forget it. I'll just do some circuit experiences. I ended up having a blast with them, finishing the Tokyo Expressway Central Loop Counterclockwise layout, as well as the Blue Moon Bay circuit layout (not the nascar 'oval' one). Acquired a decent amount of credits, almost 2 million, in fact, and it took me about an hour or so.
Also got the 4 star roulette spin. 30k credits. At least it wasn't 5k credits, or heaven forbid, an invitation. Really don't know how to get higher star roulette spins, though.
Lots of fun. I did remember putting some car on the wishlist in the Legendary dealership. Went over to check it out, and... lo and behold, it was still there. That magnificent car. I had just enough credits to get it and not end up in the red. My first legendary car, never thought that would happen.
So yeah, slapped on that classic D2 livery and went to Dragon Trail Seaside, just to see if the car could pass my "vibe check", the Chicane of Death. It succeeded with flying colors, though it has a tendency to fly sometimes, mainly when hitting the kerbs. Wish it had wings in that case. All in all, the car is magnificent, very fast, with solid handling, it spins out if you carelessly throttle out of a corner (just like most cars in this game, honestly), but other than that, it's firmly planted on the ground! Shame there's no events for it, aside from custom races.
I'll be taking a break for now, might come back later to do more circuit experiences and probably tune up some car for that 600 PP Tokyo race, just to see if I can do it. Or make liveries or whatever.
proceeded with Cafe storyline missions: some GT-R races and WTC700 championships for which I used GR Supra Gr.4 and draw card with Ferrari F430 as a reward
then I bought Cayman GT4 Clubsport Gr.4 car and hit multiple times Porsche Cup race at Nordschleife. Not to grind, but to have fun cause I freakin love that car, it suits my driving style perfectly!
and most important thing..
I received 6-star daily workout ticket (first time since I started playing 20 days ago) that rewarded me with 1.000.000cr, YAY!
Decided the WTC 700 at Le Mans is my new favorite race . Yup it rains 🤣 but it's also fun , so I got yet another tune from on here again for the Mazda Stealth Vision thingy , detuned it to under 700pp . Fuel mix to 4 and a easy two stop or one stop pit strategy dependant on the weather for a decent payout . Plus side is the Ai are easier to deal with and it's one of my fave ever circuits .
Cashed in a couple of the Circuit Experiences, and golded a handful more*. Started the day with 5.2 mil, and ended the day with 5.X mil + The McLaren GTR! So I'd say it was a success.
Also did the WTC700 a LeMans. That was fun; used my S15 Silvia Gr4 car. Saved fuel like a mad man, and pitted at the right times... won by over a minute which even surprised me. Really easy to save fuel towards the end when leading by that much.
*Whoever did the tuning on the OE Audi Evo Gr3 car can stub their pinky toe on a chair... really really hard! That thing drives like garbage and is so unstable. I love Trial Mtn but getting all golds took way too long. The Sector 2 challenge took longer than the whole lap challenge! For the first time ever I turned on ASM and even the counter-steer assist for that Sector 2... and I don't even feel bad about it.
I did the 1h Tsukaba endurance race last night in the human comedy missions. It's indeed comedy. It turns out the difficulty settings work backwards.
I had my difficulty set to easy and the AI were going low 58s right from the start, even setting faster laps in heavy rain while I was struggling on heavy wets getting 1:03 laps. The ended the race in the 57s, top 5 lapped me, finished 3 laps behind the leader.
Others were reporting the AI only did high 59s at best for them. First I thought it might be because I tuned the car to the PP limit so I tried again with a new stock car, only buying tires. The AI was already in the 57s in lap 4 and now I can't get below 1:00 anymore in the dry.
So out of curiosity I set the game difficulty to hardest. I start the race again with the stock car, AI stays above 1:00 pretty much all race and sets an FL of 59.9 at the end of the race. I easily one despite screwing up once and pitting more than needed.
So if you want an easy endurance race set difficulty to hardest, if you want a challenge set it to easiest
I'm a bit excited to get back in later today but earlier this morning, after collecting my extra reward from doing the 1 track experience for the menu book, went on a shopping spree at the UCD. Hoping to get some more money later to get scoop up that Diablo before it's gone!
Last few days I’ve been trying to win the the menu book 38 700PP Ferrari race at Dragon Trail. The F8 Tributo I’ve been using is just horrible at high speeds, spins out so easily.
Can anyone recommend a good car for that race?

I did the Tsukuba endurance 1hr race. the first attempt I finished 2nd, barely ahead of third. I tried again! But this time remembering the weather patterns. Changing tires from hard to medium, with less power (better for fuel consumption and drivability). Went off twice and pitted one lap too early at the end. also fueled the car up a bit too much with ten mins to go, 75%, should have gone for 67-8. even still won by about 20 seconds. Honestly one of the most exciting races in any GT since, well, maybe ever?
Then bought the Bac Mono ready for the next endurance,
an Mr2,
and Lancia delta Evo as a treat.
After going shopping yesterday, which is kind of a blur after just waking up, I spent hours doing more GT5 race tuning and lapping at Deep Forest.
Civic R '98
Suzuki Swift Sport
Lancia Delta Integrale
Peugeot 208 GTI
BMW M3 Sport Evolution '89 - oh crap, I didn't know this was a separate model!
Toyota Celica GT Four
Mistubishi GTO Twin Turbo
Audi TT Coupe 3.2 Quattro
I discovered the carbon fiber "paint" in the livery editor, so now I have to go back and carbonize all my "GT5 Class" racers. Now I have more than a dozen, but I should be a little less inclusive in the vehicles I include in my stable. Maybe nothing newer than 2005 or so...
Aaand that took me to a lowly 7000 some odd credits. Man, race tuning cars is expensive. So off to the races I went. I gave "Le Sarth" a try with a race modded Murcielago, but I kept getting run off the track by the bots which irritated me. And worse, I'd scream past Gr4 racers, only to have them scream right past me back - even on easy! I finally rage quit and looked over the options, and none of them appealed to me. After my rainy wreck, I have issues racing in rain even virtually, so I finally went back to boring old Daytona so I could at least afford to apply a Showcase livery to a car.
But I wanted some fun, and the Deep Forest Gr4 sounded like a kick, which it was. I had the NSX on hand so I hopped right in. Hard was hard though, managed 6th place, so back down to easy - I needed caps, guys - and of course won handily, though one race wasn't clean, grr.
Today, I should be responsible and tend to RL stuffs, but I'm not feeling it right now. So..... GT7 for a while.
Got extremely frustrated with the AI. WT800 on Daytona. Last banked section of lap 9. I'm leading but the AI supra is 0.016 behind which means it's alongside me somewhere. I'm hugging the yellow line as low on the bank as you can go so it must be on my right.
Nope.
There's a hard bump and I go spinning. By the time I recover it's a 10 second gap to 1st starting the last lap. Quit. Watch the replay.
The AI decided to drop down beyond the yellow line and then remount the bank exactly where I was, pit maneuvering me perfectly. On lap 9 of 10. I was furious.
Up to now 450miles done today, all but one of the old mission challenges done (Bathurst 20 minutes left to do).
Gonna have a little break now, new phone is getting delivered any minute and I need to start blinking again, my eyeballs are drying out.
Once Bathurst is done I might leave the missions (and the new 1hr eduros) behind and do some other stuff for a little while.
I nabbed two of my favourite cars in GT today, the Chaparral 2X VGT and the Alpine VGT Gr1 today thanks to the new payout buffs, also did the kei car one hour enduro too, was a close one!
I bought an MR2, BMW 89, 240, Viper 02,Toyota s800 and something else. I did Ford collection and decided that I don't want to race any more trucks I did a quick custom race to see how the MR2 would hold up stock. I did it on Trial Mountian and it was enjoyable but I think it needs a slight bit of tuning. I think I can use it stock I just need to remember to ease off the gas just a wee bit more going into curves
Did a mild tune on my Copen and took it time trialing. Because I have a thing for stupidly tiny cars, I bought a second one and threw every race part I could onto it, did a mild livery with sponsorship decals, then photographed it and shared that onto the community. Next I went racing with it and beat up cars with far more HP and 200 more PP lol. Awesome little car that needs next to no brake usage. You can do most tracks flat out.
Finally realised the Trial Mountain championship is 600pp not 550pp after trying and tuning the Boss for a couple of days. Gave my Boss some proper tyres and finally got the win after failing to beat it with 550pp.
Then took it to Daytona and made an Ovals tune to beat those ‘16 Camaros in the 600pp Sunday cup.
Yes, I know they are both suggested pp levels but this is how I play. I get no satisfaction from using an overpowered monster, I worked that out in GT3 and have been challenging myself like this in GT ever since.
Then took the Boss for a 10 min custom race at Trial Mountain with 19 of my other cars, with damage on high and penalties etc. Sneaked in to second after the GTO twin turbo had more damage than me and couldn’t get above 70 in the home straight. Would have beaten the winning R32 but spun coming out of the last chicane on the last lap.
Presently doing the Nordschleife circuit experience. WOW it’s difficult! Cleared Sector 8 with gold as of a moment ago. All other previous sectors are gold.
First two new one-hour missions have been beaten with gold as well.
Yesterday i played the new endurance mission race on deep forest. Finished 10th got bronze do tried again with a different car. Managed to get gold the next time but never received my cash for trophy as game went offline. Does anyone know how i would go about getting this reward? It puts me off doing any more incase the same fate happens.

Shut the game down , restart the PS4 , make sure it's online , go to the same race , if my theory is correct you should get the credits just like other people have with the curcuit experience , if i'm wrong.........sorry lol .

I closed the game yday and tried with nothing. Thought today at work I'll try it when i get home and it'll be ok as I've had a reward from the license twice so guessed it happened before. However today after work i opened the game up and still had my bronze trophy. I have replied to some tweet but it was in Japanese so doubt I'll get a reply
