What did you do in GT7 today?

So far all I've had time to do today is collect my circuit experience rewards, which went a little something like:
t4xMBzA.gif

Later on I'll be checking to see how the adjustments in custom race payouts affects the little fun runs I usually do, and maybe have at one of the endurance races since I already have a well-used MX-5 touring car on hand.

Got credits from those circuit experiences, for both Dragon Trail tracks, Blue Moon Bay, the Central Loop on Tokyo Express and Trial Mountain (can't get gold on the 1 lap trial but eh, whatever, 200k credits was good enough). Now I'm contemplating whether I want the CLK LM or not. I just need like 500k credits for it, but I also want to wait for the Alfa Romeo 155 GR4 car. I'll have a think.

I also tried the newly added WTC 600 race on Tokyo Expressway... and good grief, the AI is ridiculous. 3 laps in, I got spun out, ended up slightly ramming a wall and received a 10 SECOND PENALTY, for being pit maneuvered by a braindead AI driver... I am a little frustrated right now... I might try again later on the easiest difficulty, cause what the hell is this nonsense.

The difficulty sliders make no difference at all, I have tried it on Easy Normal and Hard iirc and it made no difference what so ever, someone told me it makes the AI less aggresive but I didn't find that. I am not a top player by any stretch of the imagination but the difficult slider is useless imo.

Hey, I'd like to believe otherwise, even if the difficulty switch is just placebo!

Do you have a -99 Evo? If so, take a look in my "garage" and try out my 99 Evo PP600 setup. Easy wins:cool:

Buy the CLK LM imo. Unless you have done all the new missions, or track experiences, since you get a lot of credits from those once.

Plus whenever Alfa 155 gr4 comes back, is probably weeks or months.

I bought a F1 GTR Longtail thanks to the update. Also when they introduced the 1 hour endurance mission set I became curious whether the F1 GTR can pass the 620 PP restriction and somehow I managed to get it under that restriction. (Also don't mind the remote play screenshot as I was doing the race via remote play before switching to my TV mid race once someone wasn't using it.)

So I did the endurance and surprisingly it worked because I didn't expect it to be at first as I treated it as a joke wow it proved me wrong so hard.

The car was so good for this endurance that its capable of doing a no stopper and managed to do one during that race as I still have 13 percent left for the fuel.

Much like you I am contemplating the CLK, its a lot of money if it happens to drive like **** though.

I am also waiting for the 155 but I'm pretty sure its only 800k so that should be easy to get quickly with the increased rewards.

BUY IT! You will not be disappointed, appearance, noise and handling-wise! :)
As you said, with the increased payouts, Alfa is just one of the new races away. Or one run of World GT which is 850k now without Clean Race Bonus.

Pretty sure it handles well. Tried C89 and Audi diesel at Sardegna A circuit exp. They don't get much attention, but gr1 cars feel amazing in GT7 🏁

Im finding that WTC 600 at tokyo impossible.
V. Gallo in that NSX is too damn quick 🤔
He some how has the quickest car on the straights and uses Sports Softs.. wtf!!

Nevermind, did it with Ford GT '06
Ive never raced so cautiously in the wet before.
Hitting the wall.. booom, 5-10sec penalty 😬

Gallo pitted twice thankgod.

With the new update and increased payouts, I treated myself to my first invitation car...then proceeded to completely ruin it with a bright paint job, gold wheels and decals :D

The Fiat Multipla of supercars. I got the invite yesterday. The one time I'd prefer the usual 5,000cr.

I am so broke. :D Looked in on the UCD and my nearly 3 million got cut down to a measly 900k. But I walked away with several cars.
  • Datsun 240Z
  • Lancia Delta Integrale - yes!
  • Subaru Impreza 22B STi
  • Toyota MR2 GTS - yes!
  • Another RX-7 Spirit R
  • BMW M3 '89
  • Porsche 911 Carrera '92
  • Porsche 911 Carrera '95
  • Lamborghini Diablo GT - super yes!
Race mod, here I come! :D After I grind a bunch of racing... oy.

One further note, the Roulette Tickets still blow. I'm going to use them only when they're about to expire in hopes the odds might improve... wishful thinking, I know.

With the credits cap now raised to 100 million, it was time to fatten my GT bank account further from the 20 million I had.

Collected the prizes from the circuit experiences I already did (all gold for them), and then completed a few more. Trial Mountain, for me, was BEYOND frustrating, having to wrestle the snappy-as-all-hell RX-Vision GT3 to all gold. I may never drive that quad-rotor GT3 junker ever again without a setup. I swear to God, I was going to throw my pad if I missed gold on the 1-lap attack by a hundreth or so.

I also did the three new WTC events with clean race bonuses. Enjoyed the WTC700 event at Le Mans the most. Sardegna WTC800 is a close second.

As well, I bought everything in the UCD that I didn’t have yet, including both those nice old Imprezas and the always-lovely Lancia Delta Integrale

Really? What did you mean by that? Never really heard anyone hate on it before. Why's that, though? Genuinely curious...

Wow! You actually used the Ford GT, had fun and were competitive! Awesome! I haven't driven the LM spec yet, but I know the street car is so bad I haven't put any effort into tuning it yet. Good on you, and the car looks fantastic!
Yessir. I really like it... liked it in GT-S so I am glad I like it in GT7. And thanks, literally my first ever livery!

Time to grind, 22 million in cars added to the legend car dealership, but no more grinding on rally nonsense yay.

I bought the Aston Martin, bought the others before, except the 20 million car. After buying 2 oldies in the UCD, upgrading them and buying the first car needed for the endurance races, I'm broke again. Spend my extras from circuit experience and everything else, now looking at 42 million to grind in 4 days  (Maybe the cars will stay longer who knows)

Plenty more circuit experience to do, repeat the championships for double payouts, 3 new races. The new endurance races don't look all that appetizing, not the most interesting tracks nor great payouts, and a lot need a special car. But it's more content.

Online payouts are still not worth it (25K for 5th place in race C)
Custom race payouts are still the same and now even worse in comparison. (But you can take BoP off)

On to grind for the ultimate line up for a future endurance race on the ring! I won't settle for anything less than a full grid of great classics, nothing this century allowed :)

Beware, there might be a glitch with the circuit experience retro-active rewards. Someone on reddit collected the extra rewards on one account (his wife), then switched to his own account and didn't get any extra rewards for his completed circuits.

Jumped into the used lot and scored the 240ZG, the tiny Toyota Sports 800, and much to my joy, the TVR Tuscan Speed 6, which I promptly took out for a rip around Tokyo, overpowering it's tires. After work it's getting wheels, paint and parts etc. Very happy.

I saw that the TVR was avaialble so I went to the UCD and bought tow of them. I took one and put a wing and the front. rear and side skrits on it. I bought the color shift. I tried to choose the reflex purple. My plan is try to make one of them look like a Speed 12. After that I used the mock Speed 12 to win the European champoinship. Did the Dragon Tails circuit exp. SO I when I log in later today to buy the MR2 I will have some extra funds

So with the new payouts I discovered you can take a Tomahawk S VGT get it under 800pp do two races at the Sardegna WTC800 and earn over 1.5 Million Cr a hour with the Clean Race Bonus . I think I maybe topping up my Cr quite a lot ;)
