What did you do in GT7 today?

I must've broke the game because for the first time in 2 months I got a 6-star ticket from the daily mileage reward. The ticket gave me 500k which almost covers the cost of that 356A that just appeared in the LCD. Which mind you is a car that I've been wanting for some time, and the car only has 19 miles and is in the cream colour I've always wanted it in. So suffice to say I ended up buying it and like the Ice Cube song goes; Today was a good day. 😎

Which car?
Nissan GT-R GT500(non Turbo version)
Used fuel map 6 entire race.
ECU setting on 95% to aid in fuel savings
Racing Hard Tires

Short Shifted the entire race, last 7 laps or so had to start lifting and coasting as was short 2 laps of fuel, but, finished with about 0.1laps of fuel.
So it was right down to the wire.

With 95% ECU and transmission set to 280km/h or so, the AI has the straight line advantage, but you have the advantage around the corners due to the higher downforce levels.
I may not have needed to lift and coast if was a little less aggressive at times.

If it was a typical race with rain at 20min in and 40min in, I would've been fine.
Have done this race with 0 refueling when it rains where the only thing done in pits is changing to wets or inters

But having said that, odds of a 100% dry race is rare.

But overall, this race was more fun, as it was not a typical Lewis Hamiltion builds a 4second lead by lap one type race where I can pass the AI so easily and then drive off unchallenged.
AI were passing me on the straights at times, and I was overtaking them on the outside in the technical sections.

The car comes with medium tires stock and is just under 800PP, not sure about the other group 2 cars, but Group 2 cars would be better suited to this race than Group 3 that the AI use.

I did record the race and am encoding the video, will start uploading as soon as its done.

Bought that Mark 4! Just need that XJ13 to appear and GT7's Platinum Trophy is as good as mine!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Same here, bought the F50, the Porsche and the Ford, Only the Jag and platinum should arrive :-),

After that i went for the Spa 1 hour again,

Mazda 787B detuned, fuel map 1 all race, hards for the first stint. ( +/- 02:15:00 laptime )
2 stopper, one for fuel and tires ( hards ) then when the rain starts went in for Inters.

Such a fun race!

Yep, me too. Just need to top up my cash to around the 12 Million mark ready for the Jag to return. Then I can start buying cars I actually want (or a different game if no more events appear)!

Took the Viper to LM for today's grind and still can't believe how efficient this thing is; it could probably stretch a 5-lap stint with a bit of care. An 8.4 litre, supercharged V10 is clearly the eco choice!

4-star ticket for 30k. Meh.

I also got a 6 star ticket yesterday. And again, it was only my 2nd ever, the 1st coming immediately after the server downtime a while ago.

Collector level 50.

So, it might point towards the tickets being scripted long-term. Interesting 🤔

I too bought the Ford Mk IV. Adding 92Kg of ballast got it to just under 700 PP.
Took it out to LeMans and set FM to 6 (I was sure it was going to be thirsty).

Luckily only had light rain between laps 2 and 4, so stayed out - it does 4 laps on FM6!
First time I've done a single pit stop here.

FM6 chokes it a bit, and I won but not by as much as I thought I would with only 1 stop.
Made a nice change and Cr 825k into the bargain!

Well I tested my theory and I got the living legend under 600 pp using IM tires. I tweaked the 1st 5 gears so much that you had to use 6 gear and above. It was crazy because it was at 613pp then I chnaged 6th gear a little bit and it dropped to 382 pp. So I adjust ecu and power restrictor to get it up 600 pp.I tested it out on Tokyo East and I felt like it was too slow. There was about 6 second difference between it and my standard 600pp tune on comfort softs & sport hards. I might be able to play around with gears some more to allow me get some more hp to make it better. After finishing up with that I did the Tokyo 600 with Tomahawk X and afterwards I bought 155 and NSX '02 from UCD. I want to try to recreate '97 NSX I had in GT1. I know it's not the same year but I think that is the closet I will get in this game. That was favorite car in the game. When I first bought it I couldn't get it to work right but I took my time to tune it and it could beat anything in the game even the Castrol SUpra

I won the 1 hour race at Spa, Mazda 787. Never really rained, so it was a 1-stop with RH. Managed a fastest lap of ~2:13.5, but most were 2:16-ish. Decided to try to Gold S10 since I had just ran all those laps, and got it, finally, with a 2:24.7 (gold is 2:26). Was ahead of the demo ghost for most of the run, which was interesting. Bought the Ford MkIV race car. Need more money for the F50.
Also mowed the yard, got a haircut, and watched an episode of the latest season of Ozark :)

I tried the WRX at Mount Panorama. I'm slower in it than in the Lexus so went back to that. Then got annoyed with lag ruining the races. When I'm not the victim of lag, I become the victim of the victim :/

PD has been doing online since GT5, they really should have better net code by now. And this is also why GT Sport has been working better without a penalty system. Him getting a 3 sec penalty after getting punted (likely not realizing it was lag) has set me off before as well.

Bought 2 more cars from the LCD (Porsche 356 and Ferrari F50), 7 left to get

1960 Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster 1,600,000 LCD May 21
1966 Jaguar XJ13 12,000,000 LCD May 25
1997 Porsche 911 996 GT1 Strassenversion 3,000,000 LCD May 26
1954 Ferrari Mondial Pinin Farina Coupe 4,000,000 LCD May 30
1994 McLaren F1 18,500,000 LCD June 2
1970 Porsche 917K 18,000,000 LCD June 3
1966 Ford GT40 Mk1 5,600,000 LCD June 4

Total 62,700,000

Well it's there and I had to , so the 917K got dragged into the WTC700 Race at LeMans .

After a brief wrestling match a setup was needed to control this thing 37/63 stock Weight distribution doesn't make for friendly handling .

So after a few attempts at setups , i've got it managable on Medium Slicks , IM and full Wets .

Tackled the race and won by over a min , I kinda like this car now , still not Golded it in that Test though .

I first took a look at the LCD, and was disappointed that older Porsche Carrera was white and not silver, so I'm gonna pass on that. I may or may not nab the Ferrari F50 that's in Nero Daytona, though I'd prefer Rosso Corsa and/or a silver color. The Ford Mark IV Race Car might be something I do end up getting while it's here, since I need it for the trophy.

Anyway, I tried the Deep Forest One Hour endurance for a second time, but with a key difference. Last time, I specced my Mustang Gr.4 so that it almost hit the 620 PP limit on Racing Mediums, but I was able to no-stop on Hards, so I ended up only having a PP of about 608, as I didn't increase the power to compensate. As a result, I only placed 9th. But this time, I had increased the power to about 356 HP, and this was my key to winning. But my heart was definitely racing a little on the last lap, as a McLaren 650S Gr.4 was getting pretty close to me, and then on the final straight, I had thought that Taycan was going to pit again - as it seems to pit every nine laps, and this was the end of lap 37 - but it didn't, so that's when I really started to worry, as the Taycan really seems to excel on the straights. It seemed to overtake the McLaren at the last moment, and when I won, the next two cars were less than two seconds behind me! But at any rate, a win's a win. So I won the remaining 900k credits, since my previous 9th-place finish won me the 300k for bronze.

Then I obtained a two-star ticket, from which I won a grey Toyota 86 GT "Limited" '16, so that was splendid. It was then that I noticed my Mustang Gr.4's oil was "normal" rather than "excellent," so I gave it an oil change so it could be ready for whichever event I use it for next. Of course, between this endurance, the WTC 700 events, and the GT Cup Gr.4 events all being complete, I don't really know where I'm going to use this car next, so I think I'm going to give my Mustang Gr.4 a rest, and try some of the other endurances.

It seems that Mustangs have chosen me, as I plan to use a stock Mustang GT '15 for the 550 PP event at Kyoto Driving Park, on top of the many times I've used the Mustang Gr.4. As for the Alsace One Hour, I plan to use a stock BMW 3.0 CSL '71. Both of these cars seem to come real close to the respective PP limits for each event when you equip the best available compounds.

Nothing much different than yesterday. Took the Audi into the Deep Forest 700 race again, this time on fuel 6. Since I play at 6 AM it's a good start to the rest of the day on a track I like, even though it comes up just a hair short for the daily mileage. Finished the daily with my fully tuned Cappuccino on that little BB Raceway. I wish there was more than one event on that track.

Finally finished importing my JGTC VTuber liveries from Sport and took my Calliope Mori KURE out for a race around Maggiore.

And got 10k from a 4 star...

I'll take what I can get if I'm wanting to do a custom race with all of them. Hopefully they'll update the Custom Races so you can select saved liveries and apply them to the same car.

Bought these two beauties today;

  • Porsche 356 A/1500 GS Carrera ’56

  • Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67

Raced a few events as well;
  • Sardegna 15 laps with AMG CLK-LM ’98. Man, I love this car so much that i did this event 2 times in a row. Fingers crossed we can use it in the future on Gr.1/.2 events.

  • Le Mans 30 minutes with Ferrari 458 Italia Gr.4. Never ever did I give this car a try, until now. With @praiano63's tune it's very nice to drive.

  • Multiple Tokyo Expressway rounds to secure more credits. I'm back at 86 million for now after buying the Porsche and the Mark IV.

More tomorrow... :gtpflag:

You can paint them ;) It's a bit convoluted, got to buy the paint first, then create a livery just to paint the car. Save the (not) livery and apply it to change the color. I painted the F50 in Rosso Corsa, got to have all my raries in red!

Ground out a few Tokyo with with the tomahawk but using MT & Le Mans using the Renault RS01 in MT. Getting better but practise makes perfect they say

Have they changed the Tomahawk Tokoyo Expressway combination?

I have followed the instructions to a tee, and I cannot get my Tomahwak to under 800 PP.

The best result I've had so far is second, using the Aston Martin One-77.

But I simply can't catch the NSX on the straights.

If I remember correctly, the tune I used was from Hsg Automotive on YouTube. It didn't fully work at first, but deleting the setting sheet and trying again worked for me. Check YouTube, there's lots of great advice & videos
