On the GTP account, I collected 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver at the expired time trial, then saw my time at Nurburgring fell to bronze. I rectified that by improving my time by nearly a half-second, which might hold. I don't have a silver in me at St. Croissant, managing only a 2:47.8.
As I ignored the Weekly Challenges up to this point, I hit those, looking for non-overpowered wins, after taking my 4-star Wheel of Despair for an invite and buying a pair of Alfa Romeo 155's, one to keep stock and one to tune:
- Brands Hatch European Clubman Cup in 5:13 with a stock 2007 BMW M3
- Nurburgring Schwarzwald League in a dry 7:57 with a stock 2009 Porsche 911 (fortunately, the 2022 Porsche 911 wasn't in this race)
- Monza Hypercar Parade in 9:32 with a stock Ferrari F8 Tributo
- St. Croix Nissan GT-R Cup in 10:59 with a stock 2024 Nissan GT-R
- After many restarts between catching traffic in the wrong spot and self-crashing, the Nurburgring Special Event in an unclean 15:23 with a stock Alfa Romeo 155
I hadn't touched the Plus account since the 1.52 update. Instead of collecting the Extra Menu prize, getting the new cars or doing most of the new events/new Menu Book, I did the Weekly Challenges with gusto as there were only a few hours left to do them:
- Brands Hatch in 4:55 with a 2022 Porsche 911 tuned to 683 PP
- Nurburgring Schwarzwald in 7:39 with the same Porsche
- Monza in 9:44 with...you guessed it...the same Porsche (while spamming the DRS)
- St. Croix in 10:47 with a stock 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO
- Nurburgring Special in 13:59 with a stock Porsche 919
For a change, the 4-star workout ticket wasn't a Wheel of Despair - I got a McLaren 650S GT3, which I hung onto for stock purposes.
