Today was just practicising for the GTWS on saturday. A mixture of dialy races testing and lobby races that had the format of the GTWS Race.

  • Started the Genesis X VGT TT and saw Tidgney on the top so well doen there!
  • Did some daily Races B & C, was utterly chaotic, got piunted by numerous morons at Nurburring, 2nd race was better.
  • Won a 4 star roulette, got 10k in creds. oh yes!
  • Bought the Mclarens needed for the book.
  • Tuned up the Mp4-12C to 900bhp and honed around Tsukuba and SS Route X.
  • Finished the menu book for Mclaren and got all their cars, already luckily had the F1 before, so the Utilamte Solus VGT thingy seemed cheap in comparision.
  • Did some intense argy bargy at Trial mountain in prep for the GTWS exhibtion race.
  • Unlocked a 6 star roulette and for the first time won a 1mill Bars of gold!!! Crazy luck Come on! hehe...

On the GTP account, I collected 1,000,000 Cr. for getting silver at the expired time trial, then saw my time at Nurburgring fell to bronze. I rectified that by improving my time by nearly a half-second, which might hold. I don't have a silver in me at St. Croissant, managing only a 2:47.8.

As I ignored the Weekly Challenges up to this point, I hit those, looking for non-overpowered wins, after taking my 4-star Wheel of Despair for an invite and buying a pair of Alfa Romeo 155's, one to keep stock and one to tune:
  • Brands Hatch European Clubman Cup in 5:13 with a stock 2007 BMW M3
  • Nurburgring Schwarzwald League in a dry 7:57 with a stock 2009 Porsche 911 (fortunately, the 2022 Porsche 911 wasn't in this race)
  • Monza Hypercar Parade in 9:32 with a stock Ferrari F8 Tributo
  • St. Croix Nissan GT-R Cup in 10:59 with a stock 2024 Nissan GT-R
  • After many restarts between catching traffic in the wrong spot and self-crashing, the Nurburgring Special Event in an unclean 15:23 with a stock Alfa Romeo 155

I hadn't touched the Plus account since the 1.52 update. Instead of collecting the Extra Menu prize, getting the new cars or doing most of the new events/new Menu Book, I did the Weekly Challenges with gusto as there were only a few hours left to do them:
  • Brands Hatch in 4:55 with a 2022 Porsche 911 tuned to 683 PP
  • Nurburgring Schwarzwald in 7:39 with the same Porsche
  • Monza in 9:44 with...you guessed it...the same Porsche (while spamming the DRS)
  • St. Croix in 10:47 with a stock 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO
  • Nurburgring Special in 13:59 with a stock Porsche 919
For a change, the 4-star workout ticket wasn't a Wheel of Despair - I got a McLaren 650S GT3, which I hung onto for stock purposes.

Well this was yesterday, today im prepping for the Exhibiton round 2 race in the GTWS.

  • Did some daily races B & C, was not bad in the Jag X-type GT3 car. Very competent among the meta crowd.
  • Got two stupid 6 star ticket (parts) token and won 2 pointless lightwieght body stage 5 twice which is annoying (for Viper + GTR R35).
  • Modded my Hiace and did some of the weekly races, like sunday cup which was fun.
  • No time trial attacks today!
  • Did the Civic race Vtec at Kyoto Driving park.
  • Did a good lobby race with A rank racers and held my ground on the race, along 22 lap race with 2 pits requirments, and got 8th overall, not bad. I also didn't realise becuase maybe I not an A rated driver, but there is a third menu on the pits for vehicle damage, I thought was quite cool. Also heavy damage in these upper class races last for alot longer till you enter the pits to fix.

I did several American Clubman Cup races and finished first in each, did 2 WTC 800 races. One at Sardegna and the other at Suzuka. Took 10 car scape photos, and did 5 drift trials at Tokyo. Had a fun productive weekend.

Oh, did 10 daily races at Interlagos and TM into this morning. I'm tired.

I did the WC and I bought the Alfa & Shelby that were available in Hagerty's. I wasn't planning on getting the Alfa but I saw that it had the arrow pointing up so I went ahead and bought one. Got 30k cr from a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🎫

Earned probably just under a million credits by doing the weekly challenges and Menu 51 at the café. Oh, and got bronze by doing Nurburgring Sprint with the GT-R T-Spec.

Well today was just a quick playthrough just getting used to the new daily races, which I only did Race B at Sardegna.
  • I tried the Nissan T spec TT again but couldnt improve, well i did but it was invalidated lap so booo!
  • Checked my ranking for the GTWS and they stacking up pretty good so far.
  • Then moved onto the Daily Race B and choose my Black livery Huracan gt3, set an ok tiem and was placed 14th on grid.
  • Chugged through the race it was very close and very cool sprint race, ended up overall 7th which is pretty good
  • Helped boost my SR and DR up more.
  • Purchased at the LCD the Shelby Gt350 and wen and truned into a voodoo v8 monster replica of Eleanor! Lovely car great sound. Tried to envisage the GONE IN 60 SECS film at Scapes and also got a NFS The run feel about it.
Will do some more testing tomo at Tuskuba and SS Route X!

EnJOY!

Completed the weeklies, other than Michelin Raceway they where uneventful.
Got an ultra turbo for a Chiron out of the parts ticket, 150k out of the money ticket, and an AMG VGT out of the car ticket. Got a Mitsi Lancer out of the marathon ticket.
I'm not keen on Michelin Raceways pit entry or exit both are downright dangerous especially in cars this fast I've had people block me going into the pits here and essentially cut across me on the exit.
To win at Michelin Raceway I took two attempts in both I had competition from SRT Tomahawks so that was my choice of wheels on attempt two, had to dial the pace down a lot to hit 950pp but the car is insanely fast, other than using an open wheeler I don't think anything else could compete.

Me I fitted a widebody kit to a BMW M3 and giggled like a adolescent boy would on getting a glimpse of his first pair of lovely jubblies in the flesh on a girl he fancied .

The Animation is without a doubt the funniest thing I have ever seen in GT , like since I started playing 25 years ago .

You ?

Well today in GT7 I ran into a problem on the Atlanta 30 minute race whilst driving numerous cars in the Grade 1 classification. Dumbfounded and embarrassed by this I tried other races to keep my sanity, this helped a little. Got a three star daily marathon ticket which netted me 10k in credits! And while still struggling with the 30 minute race I took a break and now I’m ready to go back in for round 35. Haha.

I beat the 30 minute race(finally) for the Weekly races finished all 5 races, earned two gift cars: Honda NsX Type R ‘02 in Silver Metallic color and a Ford GT ‘17 in Liquid Blue color. After that made a quick run in Autoplois GT3 race securing victory in that as well. Then boldly purchased a used Ferrari 430 Scuderia ‘07 in Grigio Alloy color with 28,722 miles on her for 363,500 credits! The One day I happen to look in the Used car dealership and there’s a car I haven’t collected, the Ferrari is a real beauty! Until tomorrow Gran Turismo 7!

Today I tried the Spa Endurance Daily Race C and it was pretty intense and fun!

But... and there always will be a but with GT7, a south african driver had to spoil it and bumpd me so hard I span out at Eau Rouge leading into Radillion in this 24 lap race.

I logged on today and did some of the new M3 dragon trail TT, wich was ok. Then I moved onto practicing the SPA race and did ok time around 2:08min per lap in practice sessions. I started the race strong and was in 7th starting off, keep battling hard chasing the upper pack as we edged away from the rest of the cars.

I kept fighting working up to 5th place and then on lap 6 or 7, the incident happened, me and the south african driver in his Lexus Rcf GT3 wher neck and neck leading into Eau Rouge and then he bumped me first i swang out a bit then came back in and he bumped me as i started to spin violently and spun out.

He didnt even stop or wait for me just carried on with no remorse. I was LIKE.....ok typical.

This drove me to get back into the race from 12th an I worked my way up 6 positions over the course of the race to finish overall 6th place. Some spin outs of the Toyota TS020 and other NSX GT cars. Pitted on lap 13 and lost my 5th place but I gained 6th back, over the course of the remainder laps and tried my best to stay consistent.

If the drivers can keep a clean race, then this is a great mini endurance race for the masses, it seems well balanced, just a shame the cars are not reguraly availlable with a very limited selection of GT500 Japanese cars and what not.

Also did Daily Race A with the Hi-ace, which was kinda fun and boring at the same time, and did a practice run at Road atlanta in the my Aston Vantage GT3 to test my timing for that.

Anyhows, enjoy Photos! Gotta get my practice in for the GTWS Round 3 this Saturday. Road atlaanta oh golly gosh!

You and I have very similar numbers, especially at Spa. I was just bumped up to DR-B and, based on race results and QT, I don't belong there. I don't quite understand the logic, there are still cars in C that are 1-2 seconds faster and they are hanging around C lobbies. I definitely don't mind moving up and losing while learning race-craft but, I'm guessing that Ill only be there for 4 more races.

The racing at Spa is interesting, after the first 2 laps, it becomes wide open qualifying laps with occasional passing. I never understand the guys trying aggressive passes on the first 2 laps of a 24 lap race with a pit stop.
I like being able to try different corner entry/ exits over the long race, it gives you a good view of what works and what doesn't based on the difference between the car in front/ back.

Claimed my sport money from the skyline challenge.

Put 4 laps in with the BMW e36, it's a lard arse with 1400kg onboard but posted two bronze laps.

I ran gone with the wind race at high speed ring 30mins race today, 23 laps first place by 6 seconds thanks to some knobheads as back markers dumping me onto barriers as I would have had a good 30+ seconds lead otherwise.

BMW M6 gt. Mids to start, wets on lap 3, inters on lap 9 and mids back on for last 8 laps.

Viper g4 as a reward as I've got two more golds to hunt.

Yes I did collect on the GTR race in Sport mode as well a bronze time, so close to silver though.

For the new E36 BMW time trial I posted a bronze lap time 0.290 off of silver also. I ran about 5 laps and had enough.

Completed the Daily Marathon and claimed the 4 star ticket that surprised me with a Bugatti Veyron invite but I have this car already. So I wish it would give you an invitation for something you don’t have yet. This was the same for the Pagani Huyara and Zonda R invites I received multiple times.

Tonight I will return to GT7 for more marathon fun and ticket obtaining. Of course, after midnight! Until then GT7!
