What does a car say about its driver?

I can understand this. I was at a car show a few months ago, and I got to stand next to an first generation Camaro as it backed to a parking spot. GReat, great noise. Realistically, though, I'd want to own something smaller and cheaper to run, or if I was going to get a big engine, I'd want 12 cylinders. :mischievous:

Fair enough, I bet it was awesome lol. Probably had mufflers on it, so if it had no exhaust...well race car lol.

I'm not sure what kind of exhaust it had, but it was very, very loud. It sounded better at idle than when it was revved

Back on topic. Again.

Stock idles sound similar to this among most old V8s. Hard to hear lol

Don't forget the oil crisis of 1970. That was a major cause of smaller engines/lower horsepower.

@ Slash, couldn't find an original Grand-Am, but this will make up for it.

*Yes, I'm aware of cars like the Hommell Berlinette.

What you drive and the driver who drives it tells the story of both the story pf the car and the driver in question. Some examples:

1) 17 year old - Toyota Corolla

I drive my mums car but thankfully my friends are usually too drunk to realise and thats usually when I pick them up at 4 in the morning. Anyways, I'm saving for something like a Supra, a Skyline or an Impreza. TURBO POWER!

2) 40's family man - Honda Accord

Right now I'm happy with my car. I love the practicallity, servicing bills are reasonable, my family will be safe if an accident were to occur and I love how it doesn't chew fuel like my brothers RX-7 from the 80's. I do wish I could have one of my dream cars, an Aston or a Lamborghini.

3) Jeremy Clarkson - Mercedes-Benz CLK Black

This car is big, loud and darft. Like me with wheels. I wish I had any car I bought wasn't uncool. At least they're great!

Depends on the driver and the car. There's always a story behind any driver behind the wheel of any car. It's up to them to make that story's cover look appealing, or not.

I my case?

That I must be mad as h*ll to drive around in a car with such a high full consumption, road tax etc... . :scared:
That I can't make the correct decisions or I have a lot of money. :P

Incidentally, the one pictured is identical to my car.

I'm a student or just getting started. I'm tech savvy with a wild side. I'm not ready for anything serious or long term I'm just having fun. I haven't even figured out my career path at this point.
