Rather than let my Steam wallet be dormant, I picked up two games finally on Steam.
First, I finally got myself into Stardew Valley. I got to see lots of gamers try their hand at this very popular game, now I took my turn at it. The game is very engaging and personal. You really seem to be part of a world connected to you and just a bunch of mindless non-playable characters (NPCs). My little farm is far from being the best in Stardew Valley, but I'm working on it![...]
I just came here to say the same thing (that I've been playing Stardew Valley, not that I just bought it - I had it for a few years now)
But recently I decided to pick it up again, and I thought it felt like food was a bit underused in the game. I don't like the combat and don't engage in it very much to need it for health, and I never got a huge farm that would require a lot of energy either.
So I decided to look for a hunger mod and start a new save with it. I'm having a lot of fun, it's an extra challenge. Just this already makes it interesting, no need to have remixed bundles or mine chests, or reduce profit. From the very start, you can't just spend the extra money you have on more seeds, you need to buy food, and you need to keep that in mind. Often I found myself with no money after buying food. Just now in Fall I'm starting to get some good money going. Though I guess if I fished more I could get more money, I never bothered too much with it. I like it, but I prefer doing a little of everything, at a slower pace.

I also have a separate save on my phone, that I play at work. Shame the non-PC versions are outdated, and many mods are not compatible on mobile because of that. Also, mining sucks on touchscreen. Combat and movement is annoying, dark caves are specially annoying, since it's hard to place and pick up torches while also having to be careful of monsters and having to mine.
I also play a bit of #Drive on my phone, an "endless racer", where you see how far you can go, with auto-acceleration, brakes that overheat when used a bit so you have to wait to use again (which I guess might make sense if you, like, put a rock on the throttle or something, as it seems you did), and having to refuel your car, fix any damage form scrapes (as any harder collision totals it), and avoid the cops, by either picking up a "treat" to throw to them, which changes depending on the map (donuts in the US, licorice candy in the UK, etc.) or by braking before they see you. While picking up bottlecaps that are the game's currency.
Which just got an update that added Mexico, as well as a classic Beetle.
Will have to do, since my CPU is too old for the new Forza.
They also have holiday specials. On halloween a map will be set at night with the appropriate theme (this year it was "Dia de los Muertos" in the Mexico map), same for christmas (one I remember was Snowplough, the UK map, being christmas).
Decided to start the Burnout Paradise remaster over again[...]
Yeah, the remaster doesn't run on my PC for some reason, it crashes on the menu. Hot Pursuit Remastered does run though, but I prefer playing the original on my PS3, as the wheel support is better, and there are the Mercedes-McLaren cars. And the PC version for some reason freezes for like half a second when I change cameras. If I keep pressing the change camera button, with a FPS counter it says it's like 10 FPS.
I've also been playing Gran Turismo 5 and 6 on my PS3 with the Master Mod/Spec II mod. Planning on putting GT2 Plus there too to see how it works.
And playing Midnight Club L.A. as well, for the first time with my wheel. Tough, but doable. Just wish it had proper support for the G27's wheel buttons. It recognizes each side all as the same button. So I couldn't map convertible roof control and music skip.
