What is the hardest track in the game?

I personally find the city tracks the hardest.. But only because my crappy crt tv. The gray walls, gray track surface and tree shadows make it pretty impossible to see where I'm going..

I'd have to say Madrid is the hardwst for me. Just never could get the hang of that track for whatever reason.

It's entirely subjective, but the general answer is a long version of the Nürburgring. Personally, I've always had problems with Suzuka, I don't remember ever racing hard there and managing more than five laps without crashing.

I think Cote d'Azur is the hardest, its very tight. Its especially irritating having to have a B spec driver race on it. My driver will be in first place for a bit... until he gets to that chicane and smacks into it, and then there will be a chain reaction of screw ups and all the other drivers will get stuck because my own driver is caught and can't go anywhere. Its really hilarious after a while. Its happened a quite a few times.

I'm going to say Fuji F is the hardest. The racing line around it is difficult to master, and it seems to bite the hardest when you make a mistake. Nurburgring seems easier since everyone knows it, and you don't have many options in terms of the racing line.

Custom tracks that PD throw at us. And city tracks, especially Rome. I can never get that first corner right.

Nurburgring, hands-down.

Corner-specific, though... the final turn at Fuji. Took me until now (this year) to figure it out.

Has to be a city street track - Nurburgring is far too flowing and easy to read. Sure it has some hard corners every few miles, But a street track tends to have extremely hard corners that punish a mistake with those three little letters.
DNF.
MonteCarlo or Madrid has thread a needle chicanes that have race ending consequences if you cut a corner. Factor in a few cars and a Street track is hands down harder to deal with.

I'd agree Madrid would be the track I'd have more accidents at, over a 1000 miles period.

The Nordschleife at night...in the rain.

Personally, it wasn't that bad when I was doing the 24 hours of Nurb A-Spec...But that's my opinion.

I would have to say every single custom track PD uses for the Seasonal Events. Those are brutal!

The Nordschleife at night...in the rain.

I had one of the best races ever online at this track, in those conditions. 1lap hanging off the back of some guy in a RUF RGT, in my Impreza Wagon! Intense doesn't even come close!

For me, I'd say I have the most trouble with Tokyo. I always seem to think I can go into most of the corners faster than I actually can, and spend a lot of time bouncing off the walls. Must practice harder :)

I think I'd agree witih this. For the longest time, Nurburgring was my nemesis.

FINALLY got the hang of it; the rhythm and the timing, though I still don't think I have it mastered enough to go full throttle on it in the dead of night.

And yeah; that final corner on Fuji. Definitely tricky, getting that line right.

Nurb is easy, the only part that occaisionally catches me out is the long sweeping right hander before the main straight.

Hardest? Id have to say Suzuka in a Red Bull.

The Nordschleife ROCKS! I absolutely LOVE this track.

I even left the 24h run on the Nordschleife open on my main save. I want to have an epic race on it. NOT with anything like the X1/X2010/X2011 as I did on the 24h La Sarthe. Parking somewhere for some hours and leave the PS3 powered on, to win while sleeping..
It has to be something special in a special car. I've felt the R35 TC is too slow for this, I'm not done with testing cars for the track yet :)

But, best of all.. I will very likely spend my easter holiday in the surrounding of the Norschleife. I don't know if any tourist/test-driving is going on then, but I for sure will have a look on the track. And if it it's just for having a break to smoke a cigarette at Brünnchen or Pflanzgarten :D

Back to topic:

Hardest track, probably any (except for Rome) city track in reverse 👎

I hate any variation of the Nurburgring, the schleiffe for its obscene length, and the gt course because of its (to me) awkward corner radius in the beginning

Hard for me to find a rhythm through monza too

I don't like the Nurburgring GP course, it's one that I have trouble with, especially the first section.

Nurburgring is probably the easiest track, in my opinion at least (I also have it memorized but still, not THAT challenging). I'd say the hardest tracks are Tuscana custom tracks. These are incredibly hard to manage to stay on course but yet still set a decent lap time, not to mention the lack of braking markers.

Probably Deep Forest. Such a challenging track in all areas. Change of elevation, combination corners, a single racing line through most of the track makes it very difficult to get the best times consistently. The last corner catches so many drivers out. The left hand corner onto the back 'straight' is such a fine line to maximize your speed onto the straight without hitting the cliff that comes towards your very quickly. Just a brilliant, challenging track.

If I had to pick one right now, I'd probably say Fuji. Finding the braking point for turn 1, not getting too sideways coming off it, not driving too deep into the chicane, those turns before the final turn, and of course, figuring out how to take that last turn. Fuji 80's and 90's seemed a lot easier.

I know Nurburgring like the back of my hand now having raced on it for countless miles. Driving the Minolta Toyota in the rain in the middle of the night for several hours during the 24 hour race was a bit of a handful, though. And a couple of weeks ago, I attempted taking a Nascar out in the middle of the night. Despite my knowledge of the track, it was incredibly difficult.

Edit: Autumn Ring is a pain in the butt for me sometimes, as well.

I would have to agree with this one, a very tricky little track.

The ring is a very long and fast track with many corners and bumps and surely takes some time to master from one end to the other but it is a great track and by far the best on the game or any game for that matter.
