What is the hardest track in the game?

Well, if Cita Di Aria was still in GT5, I'd say it's the hardest one. But since it's not, I'd say Nurburgring. Took me forever just to get used to it since I was so accustomed to FM4's Nurburgring.

That said I'd say the hardest track in the game is definitely a city track.
it's called LONDON REVERSE. :ill:
All kinds of crap jutting out as you try to make a smooth line through that course. YOu put several cars on there and it's mayhem with the guardrails or whatever jutting out at odd angles in inconvenient places. 👎.

Yes I'd forgotten about that one. I came to a dead stop on the long right hander before the last LH 90 degrees. I was overtaking up the inside and BANG! I stopped dead! There is a jutting out piece of Armco there.

Yes... I can remember there's at least 3 places where the armco or whatever juts out into the path of cars, and it's easy to go BANG. It's been about a year since I've even been on that track, I think. So I don't remember where they all are.
But I do remember the one - beginning of track... the narrow corridor.
In the mini madness race last year (on london & london reverse), someone hit that armco sticking out when trying to make it through the corridor, and there wound up being a poof of smoke, which hid several spun minis as they piled into each other. :scared:

Every reversed track is a pita for me.
My spouse says the same thing.

But really I think Rome Reverse is actually possibly better than Rome. Well, at least as far as the potential for demolition derbies. :sly:

I actually find smooth yet technical tracks like the Nurburgring, Suzuka, Cote D' Azur, and even Spa pretty engaging. Testing your limits, knowing that you gave everything you've got in that single lap defines GT5 for me.

The hardest tracks IMO are Autumn Ring and Madrid. Both have extremely tight curves, unnecessary chicanes, and corners that make you understeer 95% of the time. They don't flow very well either.

I like the challenge of the Nurb and Spa is probably my favourite track bar cote'd azur.

Nurburgring, Its one of the most amazing tracks in GT5, but one of the Hardest. I still miss some braking points or Overshoot corners ****.. But i Race and Free Drive on it.

The Nürburingring is not the hardest. Once you get to know it, it's pretty average. My vote goes to Twin Ring Motegi or Suzuka.

SSRX- I can't not fall asleep

I really think it must be London IMO, it's just so dark and the buildings and the track surface seems like one, I really need to focus to race on it. But if it's sheer track corners difficulty, I think it needs to be Nürburingring for the narrowness of the track, and I haven't raced it enough to properly know it.

Any track is easy when you know it.

So the answer to the question is: The hardest track is whatever track you haven't been practicing that much.

That is not true. Let's say you know both the Nürburgring and Suzuka like your own backyard. That doesn't mean that they offer an equal challenge.

Well I took the question as it might mean "the hardest to learn"... or perhaps the most difficult problems in the course... like armcos jutting out & not obvious.

Not an equal challenge, but they should both be easy. Either that, or you need to practice more.

Well, none of you mentioned my most hated A-Spec track.

The Top Gear Test Track... I simply hate it. Most the others you guys mention as a consensus, I do great on.

Now... I find the hardest B-Spec track to be Cote D' Azur. I ace that track, but the B-Spec drivers make such stupid decisions on it.

Cant believe Fuji and Suzuka are so highly mentioned. Whilst i find them challenging i will activley look for these tracks when racing online. For me, tight and twistly hold the biggest challenge.. Monaco and Eigher are right up there!

I agree. I can hit suzuka hard especially the opening section.

Eiger on the other hand...urghh. I can never get those hairpins right.

Well done! Someone finally said it. This is the hardest track for me to master because it's so damn weird! It's hardly a track, just some cones scattered on a runway, I always find it difficult to drive round.

I used to really struggle on the 'ring, but not now - I've raced on it so many times and really learned it over and over again that I just love it now, it seems to keep getting better for me.

Nurburgring

Doing one lap is like doing 10 laps at autumn ring and really tough when you use cars like the le man cars and fantasy cars like x1

Cape Ring, the full track is a 🤬 troll!
Some corners have no room for error (I would say a foot between kerb and wall.) that gigantic circle part is just annoying, not even fun tire eating troll. The jump after it sucks on landing. There are very slow 1st gear corners that murder your tires.

It can be fun some sections are just playing hard!

What Top Gear is the easiest track to lap on. I usally get 1:05 to 1:17 depending on what car I use. I'm the stig man, joking.

Have to say the cape ring the track just pushes the car and myself to the limit lap after lap from tight hairpins to flowing sections with just one mistake trashing a lap or even a whole race that's with out trying to find the correct setup for the multitude of different sections .

It's for that reason that I use the Cape Ring Outside to tune FF cars, it has a wide array of features. Getting weight balance right through the snaky part before going downhill is tricky.

Nurburgring Nordschliefe for sure.

There are some custom tracks that could be tougher but only because of the ridiculous turns that can sometimes happen. PD makes us race on some really crappy courses. If you're going to do creator courses, at least make them good and not give us garbage.
