I saw 300 at the midnight showing. If you ever read a history book, you know what happens, but it is so worth watching. See it. 👍

Movies I want to see are 'Silent Hill', hear this is good apart from the main actor! 'The Lake House' is another one I would like to see! And I think it is called 'The People Under The Stairs'? Does anyone know what kind of movie this is? Is it a horror? Am also looking forward to the last two Harry Potter movies!
Silent Hill was a bit of let down for me. Though I did like the actors in it, which made the movie somewhat OK..... Lake House was a romantic movie with bit of time warping twist to it. I thought it was pretty good. People Under The Stairs, I also want to see. I believe it's about some crazy family who are kidnapping kids and have them trapped in a dungeon below the house? At least that's what I was told about it.....

Just watched Colour Purple. What a classic. Evokes new emotions everytime. Great performance from Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey.
Crash is also a favourite, as is Man On Fire. I cry at all three!

I watched 'The Fog' last night. Was alright, gave me a few scares! One thing I didn't quite get was, how was Elizabeth related to those people?

Also, does anyone recommend 'Walk The Line'? Its on tonight and I am wondering whether I should watch it or not?

I watched 300 last night in theatres. Very good movie. Not fully historically accurate (or realistic for that matter), but an intersting and exciting and very very entertaining portrayal of the battle of thermopylae, and very nice artistic effects too. I really liked this movie.

"Tonight we dine in hell!"

I'm lazy so I'll just copy n paste my post from another forum...

300 - 7/10 I just saw 300... I feel sick. In other words I'm dissappointed. I'm sooo glad I had free tickets. That will be the last time I ever go to the movies. A Kia commercial? A ****ing Kia commercial!? Give me a ****ing break... 20 min. of that **** and then another 10 of ****ing previews!? MPAA you can kiss my ass as much as the RIAA.

Oh yeah... And some ****ing idiot actually bought their infant to this movie...

Anyway, I tried... I tried to say it was good but my friend was right. He's the one that hype it up for me in the first place too. Sadly I say Troy was probable just as good or :gasp: better.

Come on, tell us how you really feel. :P

I really liked Troy. If 300 was as good as Troy, I'd say they did pretty good.

Blood Diamond (2nd time) - The action sequences are brilliant as is Djimon Honsou. The rest is just quite boring. Jen Connely is wasted & Dicaprio is just bad. His accent is so wobbly.
6/10

Hard Luck - STV film from Wesely Snipes. very strange in bits, but overall pretty good.
6 or 7/10

Biozombie - Surprisingly, not bad. 👍 I don't know if it was intentional or not, but it has everything bad that can be found in the cheesy horror films from the 80's. To describe this movie to you, I'd say it's kind of a mix of "Shaun of the Dead" & "Shaolin Soccer", though it's not as good as either of those. Fun little movie. "C+"

Next time you copy and paste from another forum would you be so kind as to remove the expletives before you hit that submit button ;).

It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World One of my most favorite movies! I love this flick; since I was a little boy! 10/10!

Here are some scenes. I wish the speech the British guy made about America was included. That speech busts me up every single time I hear it.

I'll give my own star ratings I think...

Grand Prix *****
Cars *****
I, Robot ****

I can't really think of any others... maybe it's because I watch Father Ted more often than movies!

The Marine - Really daft & utterly crap. But i loved it. Very much like an old school Van-Damme film. John Cena is a terrible actor, as were most of them, except for Robert Patrick who was brilliant. And that Terminator line was classic!
7/10 (for action)

I've seen only 2!
1. Bridge to Terribithia (sad)

2. Wild Hogs (Funny)

Like the smilies?

I saw Deja Vu a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty interesting actually. 8/10.

Denzel Washinton is so hot as well.

Watched Letters from Iwo Jima the other night and I really liked it 👍 9/10 for the story and special effects ... worth a watch to anyone who can put up with the influx of subtitled movies we are seeing lately, The scenes with the american fighter planes attacking are pretty much breathtaking 👍

also watched Wildhogs 7/10 and worth a watch for the occasional laughs that are in it ... nothing special though :)

Looking forward to watching 300 at the weekend 👍

I wanted to watch that Letters from Iwo Jima but then I watched Falgs of our fartgers and I wasn't all that keen on that one.

The Good Shephard - Quite possibly one of the most boring films i've ever seen. Almost 3 hours of absolute nothing. De Niro was good in the film. and ok there was the odd gripping scene. It wasn't to bad, just soo boring.
4/10

I also thought Flags of Our Fathers would be little bit better. I am looking forward to Letters From Iwo Jima though.
Bought Casino Royale on DVD yesterday. It's still as awesome as when I saw it in theatres.

 Daniel Craig
Where did this guy come from! Long time no see. :D

I'm still whining about Craig as the new 007, but I've been hearing that this one is pretty good. Also good are that I've heard that this Bond doesn't rely too much on gadgets. Those things were really cool in the 60's, not so much these days.

I saw Bullet Boy today, a great movie if you live in London or if your into that culture or find it interesting. Felt very real, an eye opener and quite hard hitting.

Casino Royale - exactly the same as i remembered it being at the cinema. Very good opening, average middle, below average ending.
7/10

The Departed - 8/10 I wasn't expecting to see this but I heard a lot of good things about it. Low expectations are always good because this turn out to be a good movie aside from having Matt Damon in it... Very unpredictable and action packed. Reminded me a little of The Recruit a film I thought was also really good for the same reasons.
