Seeing as @RocZX already posted what I wanted to post (RX3), I'm going with an oddball because it might go unnoticed in this thread:

It was an absolute breaktgrough, quite probably the most technologically advanced and futuristic-looking car of it's time. It looks like a early 80s Peugeot? Maybe, but you're seeing a 1967 model in the image. Yes, Sixty seven. It was an amazing roadcar whenever the rotary engine worked, because they died within about 10k miles. Yes, ten thousand.

I did mention it earlier but only as part of a list, with no pic. There used to be one of these parked up near where I lived in the early 90s, always intrigued me though I was a kid then and not as into cars as I am now. My brother identified it for me and I'd always assumed it was fairly contemporary, not from the late 60s/early 70s! Love these cars, and I believe the rotor tip issues are fixable nowadays.

Also can't believe I forgot the Eunos Cosmo (old and new) and the RX500 as well as the C111. I do like me some rotaries and the pics of RX3s have piqued my interest in those now too :)

If you fancy rotary engines, here is one to drool about:
Carl Thompson's GS300. Turbocharged quadrotor putting out well above 1200BHP, and then there is NOS...

It was Carl and his son Jamie's build. Think mad mike took it for a ride.

4 rotors of course sound incredible. 3 rotors also sound amazing. But I adore the sound of a max-tuned, n/a 2 rotor.

Watch this video. 1.3 liters, naturally aspirated, vs 5.7 liters +

I can't endure the boredom of sitting through any entire YT clip that lasts more than a minute or so, specially in-car cameras or stuff like that.

But that video you posted. Damn. Ten minutes long and worth every second. That rotary sound is beyond breathtaking, beyond mouth-watering, it's just unbelievably awesome. It's a shame the driver on the video had those transmission issues, he would've had no problem keeping that 'Vette (C6.R???) behind. Thanks a lot for sharing! 👍

The FD3S... my dream JDM ride. Forever dreaming, I will be. Good thing at least, I have 2 scale models of them, especially Keisuke's FD3S.
