So did I, finished third behind the two aliens and exactly 1.5 seconds off Dan. I think I could close that down to a few tenths if I tried really hard and spent quite a bit of time on it.


I have not done many online races, but have found people to be surprisingly quick at certain combos. There must be quite a number of people who are super fast that many people don't know.

Excluding rosckolove, I've been around for many years and while you are right in saying there are always pleasant surprises, he is not one. It's a shame his type pops up here and there.

Premium Japanese GT500 car from the dealership . No standard GT or Nomad GTs .

All tuning allowed to 502 bhp .
Race Medium .

Nords with lounge physics .
Real grip / Tyre wear off
All aids disabled except ABS .

So which car did you use to do the 6.15 sec time you set ?

I'm opting for the Motul Autech GTR 08 .

Initial first try was a 6.26 sec for me , this was on the DS3 however . With the wheel I will go faster due to more control over the rear . Fastest I think this car will go , would be around 6.20 secs , in the hands of a very fast driver .

Are you 10 seconds per lap faster than me , under stable regulations ?

I think not . Calling BS on your time .

You're either full of it or you've hacked the game buddy .

Don't buy your time for a second and I don't race liars or cheats . Put up evidence asap to back up your claims or you're being reported 👍

Will give him benefit of doubt for now as times seem plausible even though I don't know much about Nurburgring lap times with Racing tyres in GT5. rosckolove has said he will be offering proof when he can, if he can't then all means disregard his claims (I know you are already doing that ). Otherwise seems like a lot of effort to go to just to lie and ruin reputation on here.

Edit: Premium only: 6.30 by HSV or if DLC banned 6.36 by Yellowhat GT-R again totally stock!

We must have missed a saturday when he plays on a ps3 that he doesn't own on a 3 person shared account!

Thing is, i can just about see the GT500 time is possible but the CSL time is just pie in the sky!

I took part in a few of those challenges, did alright in the first two I participated in, 7th and 5th overall. But GTP_DHolland's time on Monaco made me take up woodworking & clarinet lessons. Clearly I am wasting my time on GT5 and my efforts up to that point were futile. It's so defeating when someone decimates your best time by over four seconds.

On topic? I believe the wheel has an advantage when it comes to managing tire degradation. In my opinion, just more control.

I was using the Calsonic GT-R, Its at 610pp (i think), 502hp, Racing mediums. People online run below 6:20's with 600pp STREET cars, Its common really. I don't understand the fuss you guys are making. Just go run some laps and see its all possible. Really you guys should be a little more respectful though. You already know i can't get on until saturday, why make stupid comments and threats non stop? Report me for what? Being faster than you TJC? Do you ever go online? I assume you probably get your ass handed to you quite a bit. Just because someone isn't on GTP doesn't mean they aren't capable of being fast. You guys are being ridiculous. Keep the stupid comments to a minumum until the time comes. I know its hard on your pride but you can manage. Its just a video game.

Now clearly we have 3 possible explanations here.

1) Your time was set with different rules and regulations than mine, and thus my whole reference point is out of whack.

2) You are making it up

3) You just happen to be one of the most naturally gifted drivers in the world at GT5 and can lay down times on your mates PS3 on a random weekend fast enough to challenge the top drivers. (or you are an existing racer with a second account)

As for your option 3 (the most accurate one) I only run these times because i dedicate all of my GT5 Experience to this kind of stuff, I barely know how to tune a car for a flat track, see what i'm getting at?
I get the whole second account thing a lot actually. People always think I'm someoned else.

There we have it folks. I've seen some fast guys come out of nowhere in my time but none that don't even own a PS3 and can't drive any other track but nurb.

You keep claiming that "everyone online" is running 6'30's or better and that its no big deal. Why don't you get one of your mates to come and post his replay and I can race them too? Or are they not able to show up until Saturday too?

The reason you are receiving so much slack is not because you have claimed a fast time but because you have claimed a time that puts you faster than one of the worlds best GT drivers since he first surfaced in 2004 who has won more time trials than you can poke a stick at and appeared at multiple international events in Gran Turismo racing.

How about you see if you can call some backup from your online mates?
