Will GT6 have Porsche in it?

The sad part is that back in the day EA made NFS Porsche Unleashed which had nothing but Porsches and was an awesome game with very good physics, way ahead of everything else on the market. I was so excited to get the next version of NFS which turned out to be a lame duck called Hot Pursuit 2.

I just never could understand why they did not build on what they had in PU. It seemed that Porsche pushed them to make the cars drive as much like they would irl as possible in that game and then they just forgot about it in every game since.

Hard to believe that Porsche has not pulled the deal from them and allowed GT to showcase the cars.

No, it's a RUF 3400 K.

However, it could be nice to see this RUF also in GT6 👍

It would be great to have some newer RUFs in the game, but I doubt we'll see any of them :(

Believe it or not but I say that, it is because Porsche simply doesn´t care about it at all. Like I said earlier:

But hey, they got such a good reputation they can easily s**t on the gaming industry, right? After all gamers are not their "clientel" anyway.

One would think when Mercedes and the likes are even showing their relationship with PD/GT in their advertisement, other companies would jump on that train, but...:grumpy:

Its pretty much HP with more stuff. That was basically what High Stakes was.

Seems like they should do what they did with Ruf to get the cars in but on a broader scale...as well as some professional race car team cars.

Why would you change what I said in the quote? I was referring to NFS6 [Hot Pursuit 2?] not High Stakes

High stakes was NFS4 and to be honest I barely played it. I actually played 1,2,3 then 5 and then 4 and 4 just did not cut it after playing 5, sadly no NFS title stood up after playing 5

That's not gonna work, primery because of a problem called EA.

Please, if letters directly to Porsche AG didn't work, posts on their facebook page definitely won't.

Especially when its EA in charge of their presence video games, not Porsche themselves (or so I hear).

No its Facebook just post that we want Porsche im pretty sure that will get thru to them . Imagine if your comment gets 1 million likes? They will notice it nothing might not happen right away but trying won't kill us

I'm not sure you understand how licensing works. You could get four billion likes, it's not going to change the fact that EA control the license, not Porsche.

Premium Ruf cars in GT6 would be awesome. including some new models!

RUF is one of the manufacturers that I'm expecting to have a few premium models. If not, then I'll be quite disappointed (further).

The fact that Drive Club snagged a couple of models is encouraging, though.

Agree with Samus here. E.A. won't give a flying or grounded buck if 10 trillion people want Porsche in GT6. They will do what they please with it.

Disappointed you will be.

It's not the same. RUF is a developer/manufacturer and their RUFs are RUFs and no Porsches. RWB is a tuner, so their cars are further Porsches.

And you cannot have Porsche tuners without Porsche (or at least their consent).

RUF is our best chance since they're a manufacturer and because they have a strong history with GT games.

Well, maybe if PD did whatever Rockstar did while developing Midnight Club 3, we could end up seeing Tuner Porsches in GT6.
