Will you be exclusively "premium" in GT6?

Back when we were still waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to come out, there were plenty of people here on the GTPlanet forums and elsewhere across the Internet declaring their hate for the "standard" cars in the game, and insisting they'd only lay their virtual racing gloves on GT5's fully modelled "premium" vehicles.

Three years later, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has that mentality towards Gran Turismo 6's car roster, irrespective of Polyphony's/Kaz's decision to not officially differentiate the two types of cars by placing them in their own separate quality categories.

I won't be jumping on the poll bandwagon for this one, but I am interested in seeing what you've all got to say about it - are the 120+ new (presumably) "premiums" and the expected onslaught of fully rendered DLC cars in the coming months only going to keep you hooked on the high quality models, or will you be showing the "standards" some love and attention in Gran Turismo 6?

A cars a car. I'd take an ugly one that wins me races over a beautiful slowcoach. They have same physics, just some have some polished designs. The old standards are hopefully upgraded anyway.

I will use Premiums a lot more, but will still use standards, just not as much. We all are used to standards by now.

They will still be used, by a lot of people.

If there is a premium of a car available I'll always drive the premium. I avoid Standards as much as I can, but some I can't avoid, like the Yellowbird, BTR etc, some classic cars etc. I'm guessing in GT6 probably 80% of my regular rides will be premium.

To be honest, it all depends. If the clean-up effort is not that noticable to GT5's standards, then most likely not. However, as long as the exteriors have at least "semi-premium" levels of detail and are fully upgradeable like PD say, then I (probably) can do without interiors.

This has never been an issue for me. There are a slew of standard cars that I have and use. I got too much love for cars to not use them.

At the end of the day they may not be as pretty as the premiums however to me and I reiterate this, to me but they are not the eyesore that they appear to be to others. There are some standards in the game that look quite good while there are some ordinary ones but still not to the point I am having issues with them.

I will be interested to see if the adoptive tessellation brings a clean up to any of them on top of any touch ups PD may or may not have done

I actually have more premiums in my GT5 garage than standards. I just found it extremely boring to just buy a lot of standards at the Used Car Dealership.

I probally didn't notice but is there even a premium pickup this time? It took me a several days to get a dang pick up to do the sports truck race. Premium Standard doesn't matter to me, a good a few favourites of mine are standard, RGT, 3400s, Earlier Vipers that had that wicked Silver among others

All machines are now available at any time. They're now all in the same dealership.

To me it really doesn't matter all that much, I have plenty of standards and premiums in my garage. If you have a love for cars then it shouldn't bother you so much. One thing that irked me out was that the Jaguar XFR '10 was a standard in GT5. It didn't look bad, it's just weird having a car that new as a standard. Seeing that most cars from 2010 onward are premiums. I just do hope Standard cars have more detail in GT6, other than that I will still drive standards in GT6.

Exclusively premium for me. Apparently I'm a diva. In GT5 I only used standards in races where there was no premium option. Except the Fireblade Seven... the only standard my virtual self would be seen in.

Mostly Premium, but eventually I'll start collecting those cars formerly known as Standards. I simply can't say no to some cars.

A good car to drive is a good car to drive. Period.
Considering less than half use the cockpit view, "premium v standard" is a silly exercise primarily pushed by folks who find anything and everything to complain about. They should be on Turn10's payroll for all their trolling efforts.

This time around, I think I'll stick to just Standards and Premiums. You couldn't pay me to drive those other cars. I have standards. ;)

On a serious note, I think I'll just stick to Miatas this time around.

Oh yes, because disliking inconsistency is trolling.
