Despite the bitter aftermath of the GT7 economy correction the game delivers much more GT feel than GT Sport, in my opinion.
I wasn't and I'm not going to leave GT.

I'll keep playing the final championship with the GR.3 cars, i grinded fishermans ranch quite heavily for a while so its giving me an excuse to try the different GR.3 cars ive bought, it gets my daily done too and earns me about 450,000CR (helps that i like all the tracks for that championship too)

Hopefully we get an endurance race soon in an upcoming update, but having the Mercedes C9 in the legendary dealer is giving me something to work towards for now at least.

Online is a bit of a mess though with lots of players exploiting track limits on Daytona quali and doing the transmission PP trick for the GR.4 race on the nurburgring so i cant really be bothered diving into that too much (the payouts arent really worth the effort right now either)

Might give it a break after i get the Sauber and head back on F1 2021 until the next update to see if anything worthwhile gets changed/added.

I n help on the super linice the f1 car
Honestly the best advice i can give is to turn the Ghost on and just keep practicing, take it sector by sector until your completely comfortable, you can also cut the corner before the corkscrew quite a lot and if you nail it you will gain about half a second.

I will. I love the game, and it will only get better with updates and DLC. As for the "controversy", i get it. But it's not a problem for me personally. I am in the fortunate position which allows me spend real money on the game, so if i feel like it's taking too long to get a car i want, i will just pay for it with real money. To me the enjoyment i get from driving what i want, when i want, and customizing it however i want, is worth that. And i get the whole having to "earn a car" thru hard work and it feeling like a sense of accomplishment in the end, but i get that same feeling from driving it, and making it my own, and it works for me. So yeah, i will keep playing it and i hope they start pumping out some new content soon.
attaboy. You go ahead and encourage this despicable behavior. At this point I am hoping every single major publisher burns to the ground.

I do mildly dislike the current state of the game with the lack of events and low payouts, but hopefully the future content solves that.

For now, I feel that there is still plenty for me to do, particularly in the custom races department. I recently did a 15-minute one-make Prius race at a soaked Red Bull Ring just because I could. It was surprisingly fun. I personally like having boring daily drivers in the game and racing them.

I also have mission challenges to do and need to do my first Sport Mode race. I do have a PS3 with GT5 and GT6 and a Switch with Mario Kart on hand if I do get seriously bored.

Yessir! The level of quality on display here most certainly outshines the competition, with supreme visuals, tight gameplay and high levels of detail that no other racing game could even hope of achieving. Bad business practices aside, I will absolutely, with utmost pleasure, sink hundreds of hours into this game and even more when updates roll around.

Yup, I'm really excited for it. I got about 900k now, should be able to grind out enough later today to get it! Really pumped to get it!
This is what i'll be doing today. I have the final championship to finish, so the money from that and grinding the rest.

As an aside, i've seen one driven in anger around Phillip Island:

Not my photo, but same event. It sounded absolutely brutal.

Why would you give them the satisfaction of having your money and you not enjoy the game . The The championship races are still good for grinding money 40k per race for the 600pp plus 80k championship plus clean race bonus and better for the 700pp and world series. I admit i stopped playing RDR2 as soon as they messed with that but then they really messed with it and it just went to pot but im not paying £60 for a game not to play it just because they are trying to nurf the money making

Well, there is not much to do really. Nothing that is rewarding enough for my time spent. I already finished the single player main and am not interested in golding all the crap.

I’m in the same boat. I absolutely adore this game and will play it every chance I get. I hate what they’ve done to the economy, but I want to see what they do with it in the future.

No, mostly as there is no point what so ever. No new race events and griding for a car that has no championship of its own is POINTLESS.

Got FH5 and will reinstall FHM7 and do as Kaz said and wait. Patiently wait for a far superior game from the competition.

Yeah of course, I like the game.
MTX sucks but doesn't mean game is bad, just meaning it will take you longer to have all cars.

This is true though.
I just bought C9 from legend shop but it's kind of useless because no event for it. I won't timetrial "useless" cars just for the heck of it.

Then them nerfing the winnings makes no difference to you
Actually, it does. I would be grinding if the payouts rewarded my time adequately. I am not interested in golding licenses and missions. The only thing that makes a difference to me is acquiring cars and driving them. I would like to do this in the most varied way possible. I would like all that variety to be roughly equally rewarding, payout wise.

Yeah, until all cafe books are are completed. Then I might hold off playing until updates that includes economic system rebalancing and addition of new single player events are released

Not anymore. Not even gonna give PD the satisfaction of showing up as an active player. I loved doing Sport races but I am not going to race for half an hour to walk away with around $10k. I have faith they'll right the ship somewhat as they've done in the past for GT5, 6, and Sport, but not that much faith given the MTX bug has seriously bit them in the ass.

I'll still be playing it, but won't be playing it as much as I want too, or grinding credits as hard now. My main goal is to Platinum the game, which will just be time consuming getting the mileage trophies for online.

I will keep playing because I love motorsport. However (I hope PD looks at this site), they REALLY need to look back at everything with a exceptional fine eye.

Problems I have with GT7:
  1. Feels like GT Sport 2.0
  2. Gaining credits in the game way harder than it needs to be. Seems like they are pushing players for the MTX option which that in itself is automatically wrong.
  3. Car prices damn near force players to go into MTX or hope to get a 4-6 star ticket for credits
  4. Anything past National A licence isn't needed. You can complete the game without IB, IA, and S
    1. Based on the above, you will not see LMP races anywhere in the campaign besides Missions and multiplayer
    2. Also they made the IB, IA, and S pointless unless you want to get them out the way.
  5. Sure you get free cars completeting the cafe, but I miss how GT4 felt with being rewarded
    1. You know what car is there, can get it, reset the progress if it wasn't a championship, rinse and repeat
  6. Personal beef: The Hagerty Collection shop can go kick rocks. Broken record here with the MTX.
  7. Collection levels doen't mean anything past level 20.
  8. RNG for performance parts you cannot buy in-store and even more RNG for what car it could be. Makes me miss GT2

I'll wait in the long-haul when they add more events. At the current moment, this is barebones and almost feels like a repeat offender (refering to the full vanilla version of GT5).

At this point I will just to dailies and some tuning. I'm a long time fan of Gran Tursimo and would love to see the game be successful. They need to wake up to the problems at hand and make a game plan for the long haul on how to attack these issues.

Edit: At the time of typing this, the F1 is at 18.5 mil or $200 usd, sigh......Kaz?!
