What's up guys. Great discussion.
As it stands now, it looks like this will not be the final week of the preseason, agree? First off, i have an idea with the points problem (as many of you feel there is one).
I will re-structure it to make it a bit more closer. I will also implement race percentage completion. You must finish the race & complete at least 90% of the class leader's
total time. Not doing so will earn you nothing and the points classification will move up accordingly as deep as it can go from Division 2. So basically, any given week, the
last place finisher in D2 can theoretically earn as much as what an overall 2nd place finisher gets. Only theoretically, if you get what i mean.
We will not change the mixed class format. That's how it will look at least for the first season. As for qualifying, we will do it as planned this week. My schedule is as tight as it is and i only
have small windows to race a few days a week which is a break that hovers around 12 o'clock in PST. If you cant make the time, then im sorry. Although if the new qualy system does not
work, then we will restructure it next week to best accommodate everyone's schedule.
Qualifying:
On monday, GT500 and GT300 cars will have 15 minute sessions each (time will depend on track size). A set number of drivers (as much as 10 at a time) will go in free run and begin
the 15 minute session. Once the time is over, none will leave the track or go back to the pits. I will check their best times.
After that, i change the track, then choose the same track again to clear the lap times already recorded. The process repeats until we get the limit of 25 drivers per class.
We can do this on multiple rooms to maximize the time.
Anyway, that's all for now. Just woke up with a mild headache again. We had to call the ambulance last night as my friend collapsed from too much alcohol. 21 shots of
Vodka (21st bday)! Yikes... im sure he's fine now though. IV's will do the job
p.s. My apologies in advance for any typos or horrible grammar.
p.s.s. Any of the stewards or capable hosts (with the supervision of a steward) can conduct qualifying sessions at any given time of the week.
