Well it's not a Super GT car for a start, and this is a super GT Series.

If you Stick a Turbo on your DTM car, it is a equal to a Super GT car, should we allow DTM to enter too?

While I do love the Rx-7LM, it's not a Super GT, if the series is opened up to the older JGTC cars, I think the Rx-7 should be considered eligible also.

As far as I am aware though, only the GT300 class is being considered to be opened up, so as of now, I would have to say no to the Rx-7LM. Although I don't make the rules of course.

I've just thought, if my connection doesn't like Masi's host, it looks questionable whether I will be able to compete in this series. Assuming we are both in Division 1 for the majority of races, that would suggest I will have connection issues for the majority of races. I only just made Laguna on my last attempt at trying to stay in the room, and had no success at all last night.

I can't readily change my internet connection, and a new host is not a solution. So my question; does anyone know a way in which I can suitably alter my network settings, which may prevent this problem from occurring in future? Simply re-setting everything and clearing the cache doesn't do the job.

well i did some tests in nurb gp/f with gt500 cars online and ofline and i ended up to this conclusions:
the nissan gtr and z are the quickest in overal perfomance online and ofline from the gt 500 cars. the yellow hat supra has the less bhp and has less aerodynamics from the others. nsx i bieleve is the third car in perfomance after th gtr and z although the nsx online is tail happy as hell. the lexus just cant keep up.
 
I am a little confused about the point breakdown from yesterday(presuming it's the same way during season). So I qualified 12th overall, raced d2 but ended with the 3rd best overall race time between both divisions. However, I was awarded points for finishing 9th just because I was in D2? Just curious, will it be going off overall time in the end or only track position in D1 really matters when it comes down to it?

You have to qualify for D1 to earn the top points. The parade lap can be much slower or faster between divisions, so "total time" means very little.

Div1 in GT500/300 can earn the 1st-7th points
Div2 in GT300/300 can earn the 8th-14th points.
 
I'm sorry about having left the D2 race last time around. When it started with only me and Owens in it, I thought it was going to die out. (Also thought what we were doing in that race wasn't serious). I'd be willing to join the series, just more organization would be key I guess. That's also if you'd let me.

Google how to open the NAT on your router.
 
Anybody with connection problems should connect their PS3 direct to the net.
If you connect your PS3 to the net via PPPOE you will get NAT type 1 direct connection :)

here's what he did to boltzz on the formation lap for D2...

let him in at your own risk...maybe a warning so he can prove hes not dirty in the next race

boltz is the air and dregato is the plow...lol

I'm closing the registrations for the GT500 class. I'm fairly sure it's up to capacity.

GT300 class meanwhile still has about 10 spots to fill. Hopefully, the added JGTC cars
will entice more people to come in.

I tested La Sarthe last night and it was pretty awesome to say the least. I had 24 hour
time change every 2 laps, which was weird, i still don't get the progressions rate; 1-60?
Also had rain a few times. Should add some dynamics to next week's race 👍

Well, I have a few priorities in life i have to tend to today, so i wont be replying to the
private messages i received the past 24 hours. Will do so when i get the chance.

Sweet speeds btw. You can host D2 for sure. That's if you don't qualify for D1 :D

Should we consider a standing start? We can still do the warm up lap but the whole field will stop at the grid markings. We will then have a set time to start by looking at the total time clock. Depending on the track, we can have a start at 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc. This will allow us to use total time as a way to score the final results combining D1 and D2. Although i see that this renders in race divisional battles with fellow drivers useless in some sense.

What do you guys think?
