Soooo... nerd rage w/ death threats and racial slurs over a video game good? LOL. And then you question my "honour" and joke about whether or not I like kicking cripples? Don't quite get the connection between trolling GT5 and kicking cripples but harsh words to say the least.
The terror continues??? Part II on GTP forums.
EDIT:
Actually I got a lot to say about this... was just gonna let it slide and move on but it's too absurd to just let go. The people in my situation above put themselves through it. Nobody was forcing them to stick around in a room with an obviously over-bored gamer who just can't sleep. They could've just left and joined the other lobbies that were open then and there was quite a few believe it or not. But nope... they stayed logged in with their cars and did nothing but add to their own frustrations. It's interesting arguement because the people involved had just as much freedom to leave as they did to stay, and I told them this over and over... so from this perspective I couldn't stop laughing and they just couldn't help themselves. It really says more about those people than it does me.
These are the kind of people that walk the streets everyday among us in society... frustrated people who if given the chance would phyiscally harm or even kill/smite someone over actions in a video game. It's even more sickening that they put themselves through it even though the option to leave was always there. It's kind of alarming. Nerd rage is a hell of a drug.
I think absurd is a great word for it. I can understand that it would be pretty funny and entertaining to wind them up about it and watch them get angrier and angrier but it just exacerbates the problem. Quite to the contrary of what you say I don't think for a second that 99.9% of people would be physically violent, it's pretty easy for them to make threats of violence etc. through their headset behind the cover of internet anonymity and that right there is the problem. Winding them up just makes them more likely to keep going like that, and probably escalate as well.
Be part of the solution dude, not the problem!
