Should we do a classic 1960's style standing Le Mans start?

That was bloody brilliant this evening. Probably the best WSC race ever!

The Corvette seems a much improved package now it’s had a PP boost and this was bourne out as Orama and myself traded places for about 12 laps or so.

A fantastic battle ensued for second between Orama, Akmuq and myself for lap after lap during the last 1/3 of the race and only came to an end when I put a wheel on the grass coming out of the first Lesmo and took Orama out in the process, sorry mate!!

I should have put good money on Sagaris winning as I predicted earlier this evening. All that's needed now is the AC Cobra reeling in and you have a race on your hands.

AS for RPH. What a bloody idiot parking there in the first place, was he intentionally trying to annoy everyone parked there. Not the mark of a professional driver.

Should be parked for Toscana.

All in all an extremely good race. :gtpflag:

No worries 👍

I got a 1:29.4...

*mumbles about Camaro*

Don't worry Luke I was screwing the nuts off the Corvette and I did the perfect lap. However that was after 9 laps as the tyres take that long to get warm.

Tyres take about 2 laps for me at Monza, caught me out a few times.

I still believe we should race with the track set to the earliest time possible with time progression at 1, mainly because the Standard GT cars with their weak headlights will have a big disadvantage against the Premium ones...

Thats the chance you take in your car choice. Becides its a bloody triangle that you will be going around many times before dark. Memory of a Goldfish?

I got the Cobra down to 1'29.2, but most laps are much closer to 1'30. Looks like the cars (other than the Jag) should be fairly evenly matched here.

Looking forward to this one, especially after disaster last time for me.

i will not be there this sunday as i'm going out to london for the day and won't be back until late

Fingers crossed I can make it but DofE will finish on Sunday when both groups reach the end, whenever that is

WSC IV GT spec news - lower-performance GT cars will be given performance breaks (not necessarily in line with IRL specs) in order to get them in line with current cars.

Marcos, Ginetta, Mercedes all confirmed for WSC GT Category next season along with Goodwood and the Nordschleife.

If I allow the Jag :P - considering just sticking with six prototypes and 10 GT cars.

With the current tyres (which I believe we'll be using next season as well), the Ferrari is at a loss against the Ford.
So at least consider the Jaguar, even if that means having to replace the Ferrari...

Ferrari won't be replaced.

I just remembered, I missed the pit lane when suffering from seriously heavy damage at Pescara in WSC 1, and I reversed to get back in.

Yep. That isn't permitted this time around though.

This'll probably be the toughest track of the season since PT cars will be lapping the GT field every 3 1/2 minutes.
