WSC V - Yera Wins Final PT Race, Lout Steals GT Class At Spa!

Just to let you know. I won't be there next week as I'll be on vacation. Shame because I thought I finally had the race under control. Oh well, guess I'm going to have to make up for it at Laguna which I would have missed otherwise.

Good race Lout and Hurley, that Stratos is ridiculously fast down the straight. (and the Alpine is not a slouch either) It's 🤬 hard to stay ahead of it for one whole straight. ;)
 
In the 2 1/2 years I have played on GT5, this was the worst thing ever happen. Having CHILDREN come in to just screw with us is sad.
Furi did the right thing by red flagging the race to kick them out, but a another CHILD to do the same damn thing after the restart. It took the fun away after that and I can't blame Furi on postponing the race. It hurt the guys still racing and the guys who dropped out. Bad everything around. 👎

I felt like i was cheating haha. Only problem for me was tire wear which killed me...

We all made an effort Yera. If you hadn't noticed I went from last to P1! That's making an effort! I stopped because it was too frustrating to carry on with that Ferrari being too blooming fast down the straight...

I'm sorry but that's a poor excuse... He was also pulling away from me at some point in the race, but I kept my cool knowing that the Ferrari has worse tyre wear than the Jaguar at Daytona...

They seemed suspicious. I kicked a GTP member out my WSC lobby tonight. he came in, ignored me and I kicked him and deleted him. One guy tonight even called "Furios". I think this was set up. Seems coincidental. And much as you guys may be angry, but leave quoting names to PM's.

My apologies for my language this evening, but those stupid tossers that entered the room and caused complete mayhem, coupled with the fact that every time mj came up behind me he just ran straight into me.

NOTE TO SELF: Calm the 🤬 down.
NOTE TO MJ: If you can't see someone, inform us BEFORE the race.
NOTE TO THE TOSSERS: If I find you I'm gonna urinate on your Playstation and you!

It wasn't a total waste a time for me at all. It was nice seeing everyone again... but damn those 5 year old punks.

Not a waste of time at all. It was interesting to see where the other GT cars where at. The Stratos is unbelievably fast, and the Alpine I could just keep honest.

A very interesting season lies ahead.
 
Well, next week I expect a flawless race from everyone having had 38 laps of practise tonight :P

I think the Mustang is too slow. I couldn't keep up with lout or you fox once you were passed me. You guys were lapping in the 2:06's and a 2:08 was a good lap for me. Did a 2:07 once; was very surprised to get that lap. 06's are impossible, 05's are just stupid

It is a perfectly good excuse. You didn't keep your cool at randy did you? Every time something goes against you, you rant down the mic at them... Its not the fact it was pulling away it was that I was catching it and every time I got past it after setting up a pass for laps it would be for nothing down the next straight. I'm sorry but being wiped out by you and Joe (I know it wasn't anyone's fault) after I made 5/6 passes there without any contact. It was a race that I did nothing wrong in and yet had nothing to show for it apart a pointless race at the back...

I actually thought that you in the Mustang was my closest rival as we seemed evenly matched. If I made a mistake you where to pounce.

I guess its all about Circuit/Car suitability.

I was quick in your draft and down the straights but once you reached the twisty bits you were gone
 
Bit gutted that I didn't make tonight due to connection issues which I've been having over the past 2 days. Had to quickly do a race at around 7.40pm as I had only 20k coins and needed to spec a car up so I could have raced.

Should be able to get a bit of practice this week after the past few weeks being disrupted because of having to reformat my PS3 twice and hoping that it's the end of my PS3's problems.

Regarding holding the races in public lobbies, you will always get some people who will join a room even though it says private in capital letters on the screen. Now that random people can't get in it will help Furi as he won't have to boot these people. Hopefully this doesn't lead to people having connection problems and causing further aggravation after what has happened tonight

Lout, Snow and Hurley, especially Hurley, just did one and disappeared. I would seem however that the Stratos has a weakness as it seems to chew its tyres after about 12 laps.

In the heat of the moment everyone can get stressed easily, especially over a game :) I got annoyed at Neljack in S3 because he hit me twice. But he was texting some one. I believe it was a girl called Megan, or so I've heard :P
