Did some calculations: Being 1km/h faster over the length of the Hunaudières (6km) makes a difference of about 0.3s. (1mph is about 0.5s)

So, whatever gets changed in the BoP, it should be done very carefully. :sly:

Bloody hell Snow did the slide ruler come out there? :sly:

Dave got damage last season, and season before Chris was involved in a 3 car collision.

Did a 4:24.7 as best. There's not much more in there for me though. That was qualifying pace, not endurance.
24.7 was my qualifying lap in the Corvette last season and I almost beat the Jag. Probably would have if I didn't make a pit stop gaff. It's not a Corvette track, but it's a long race and many things can still happen to let the Corvette into it.

Also, the Alpine can't 1-stop like the Jag can. Well, maybe it can technically, but it almost definitely shouldn't with the tire wear I'm getting. There's even a possibility I might have to 3 stop.

Timetable for tonight:

7pm room opens
7.15pm Track green for session #1.
8.30pm small race and practise Start
8.45pm session #2
10pm room closes.

I'm strangely giddy about this race. And I love the 2005/no chicane variant of the track. Makes people much more honest, if there's grass outside the track instead of a paved run-off area.

This will always be my favourite race of this championship. (With pescara a close second) Le Mans is one of those places you just have to love.

I have also done a 4:24.7 this morning with about half a second more in it but that's it.

3:47.9. A lot of experimentation required for me with the car.

Hey Furi (Alex?)! When does the room open for the test day? Currently shaking down the Nissan for tomorrow at Indy Road, and would like to get a few laps in LeMans Super Special Camaro Z28 before I go to work at LeMans.
