Wow.. that was wild. :scared::crazy: Other than the first lap, I crashed and pitted every lap and yet finished with 10 laps completed. :grumpy: All in all, not as bad AS I THOUGHT it was going to be. On to Le Mans, the test day Friday and Race on Sunday. :D

Even as a vegetarian, yes. Yet somehow I predict Le Mans will surpass it.

It's a shame we don't race with weather and day/night cycle in Le Mans... that would make for a spectacular race...

As for me dropping out from tonight's race, I'm sorry... I was planning on holding on until L11 (for full points), but for me the fun was long gone...

Had a bit of a battle with fox all race long even though we were rarely on the same bit of track at the same time due to me wrecking multiple times especially during the night portion pf the race where I put the brightness up to max in the menu and still couldn't see the track very well

praying le mans will be totally dry, oh wait it will be 👍 yay!

I lucked up getting 2nd. Wished I can redo lap 8 and 9, might have been a closer race..maybe.

That was intense. The last two laps I was racing Chris for 3rd. We both pitted with 2 to go for tyres and on the following lap both had damage. Chris pitted with 10 seconds to spare on me so I pressed on with full wets, half worn, and damage. It was a chance I had to take and it took Chris quite a few miles to catch up and pass me. I'll settle for 4th.

GT Standings - Snow retains 1st on 31, I'm still in second on 24, Lout jumps from 7th to 3rd on 18

Can't believe I threw P2 away like that. Too busy listening to Joe's woes to notice my tyres... Rookie mistake much!

Anyway the Titanium Jags will be back in action at Le Mans: Joe, I will send you the paint chip tomorrow morning (Yera if you want in on this joke too just say)

Yera is second hand :P

TEAM FORD - great effort tonight, lets get sorted for the big one - I should be at the front. After tonight I am seriously considering withdrawing from PT.

I can't believe I didn't finish last after forgetting to buy RHs.

I bought them during qualifying after realizing that I didn't have wet tires.

Also you deserve some credit for carrying on even without wet tires, a lot of others would of given up in that situation

That was a crazy one. So glad I've got a win now with the Alpine, great car! Although if joe had finished any later Snow would definitely have beaten me. That was such a close finish.

Brilliant race! It was almost impossible to overtake in the rain, especially at night when you had a bright, glaring spot ahead of you. I went into the barriers once trying to get close enough to you for a pass once. Driving was not really a pleasure in the 80-100% water range, but as soon as it dried a little, it made holding out through the night worthwhile. I think we were never more than 30 seconds apart the whole race, and that only for pitstops on different laps.

Especially the end was epic. I came up to you on lap 13. Your tyres were clearly gone, so I was able to pass quite easily, having pitted for repairs so being on newer tyres, and thinking my tyres would last till the end. You apparently changed to dry tyres then (water was still about 40% - good call), and my rain tyres really went down quickly in lap 14. Ran into Plux, I think, at Döttinger Höhe, who had no tyres at all left, he passed me back on the straight, and in the chicane he went off, and I ran into him on my bad tyres as well. Luckily, the pits were not far away, so I limped in to change for dry tyres. Lout went past just as I exited, and I knew I had maybe half a lap to chase him down. Gap was maybe about 3-5 seconds then. As it turned out it just wasn't enough time left. I gave it all, but the race ended half-way through the lap, me being about 1 second behind. Guess I made one mistake too many in the race! 👍

Honestly mate, that was one of the best races I've had. I knew going flat out would be the answer!

After you got past me early in the night I decided to pit early so I could actually see where I was going. We must have been pretty equal on lap times throughout the majority of the race too, although if it hadn't of rained you probably would have ran away with it. I only got damage once during the race too which I'm pretty proud of, had a lot of close calls though.

So yeah usually I complain about the rain but it definitely helped me last night.
