Man, after 5 different tunes, SCREW THIS SEASONAL! I CAN'T GET UNDER 1:29:300! I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR TWO DAYS NOW... forget it, I'll come back to it another time. But seriously, WHAT'S WITH THESE UNBALANCED SEASONALS?! :banghead:
Unbalanced?

I'm sorry you're so frustrated with this seasonal right now. I haven't played today, but last night I gave it several attempts and I'm also less than a half-second from Gold. I'm probably not going to even play tonight, just so I don't get all worked up and I can get decent rest tonight.

But I wanted to ask you what you meant by "these unbalanced seasonals"? Unbalanced in what way?

Um, guys....

Did you do an oil change? I was at 1.29.111 after 15 or so laps, improved a good 1.5 seconds after the oil change.

Nearly 100 laps. I've tried everything in the OP, every bit of advice given between there and here, and I'm still at Silver. Every time I think I've found a rhythm and can finally Gold the event, I end up phantom touching a barrier and getting an invalidated lap. My two best laps were under the Gold target time, but both were invalidated. I'm at a loss, and I will not accept anything less than a Gold.

Just keep trying mate. It took me a few tries as well as some gearbox screwing. You'll get there.

Even after trying so many times, I can't tune anything to save my life, nor am I a consistent DS3 racer. The latter is what screws me up most time.

Got 1'24.895 with a self-made tune, with a fresh oil change.
Ride Height: Can't be changed
Spring rate: Left that stock
Dampers (both compression and extension): 8/6
Anti-Roll Bars: 5/5
Camber: 0.0/0.0
Toe: -.10/.10
Didn't adjust brake bias
Top Speed: 220 km/h
Didn't adjust gear ratios/final gear
Initial Torque: 8
Acceleration Sensivity: 16
Braking Sensivity: 24
Downforce: 800/1000

Perhaps he is using another PSN account that's why you do not see his name.

OK. Here we go.

Apply the manumanu tune. Put your abs on 1. And if you're struggling, TC on 1 too. (I use 0)

Accelerate through the gears to the first corner. Coming to the first curb on your left, LET OFF. Coast to the right, and bang on the curb on your right, brake hard and change down all the way to second, pulling the car over to the right to get a wide sweep at the tight double apex.

Don't get impatient on the throttle. In fact don't touch it untill your apexing the second curb. Then get on the throttle (not bang, gradually(still in second gear)). Avoid the curbs if you can.

Accelerate through all the gears with no let offs, untill you approach the 50M brake board, just before the right left at the bottom of the hill. Brake hard, and again change down to second gear, turning the car tight to the curb as you finish your braking. Again, tickle the throttle lightly, and ride the corner round to the next apex/ curb. Use a bit of throttle in between the next 2 corners, then let off again, (still in second) and re-apply the power when you have passed the barrier on your right, and full power for about 2 seconds. ride the long left hander untill you can feel the front of the car begin to understeer. At that point, let off and coast the car round to the second apex point. Use a bit of throttle, and let off again. just like the previous right hander, as you pass the barrier on your right, get back on the throttle and accelerate through up to the large long left hander.

As you approach (the long 180 degree left hander I just mentioned) stay full throttle, all the way to the curb on your right hand side as you enter the kink before the corner. Brake hard bang on the curb, and change down to second gear. Turn it in tightish to the first apex point, and very gently (20/ 30% throttle) ease the car all the way around the corner. Be patient, else you'll lose the rear. When you spot the corner opening out, start to apply slightly more throttle, untill your car is straight, and you can see the exit, then full throttle and accelerate down the hill up to 4th gear before the final chicane.

Your braking point from full throttle, is the 50M board before the zebra crossing. Brake hard on the 50M board down to second gear. It's important you HIT the first curb, and turn your wheels left toward the second curb, but DONT touch it. As soon as you're clear of the second curb, you can accelerate hard through your gears to the finish line.

Now this is no means the FASTEST way to complete the lap. But if you do exactly as I've said, it will be an easy gold.

Good luck

Got myself down to a 1.23.1 (8th at the moment) with ODB's tune. Struggling with accelerating still, but sure I could get a 1.22.xx with a bit of fine tuning
How in the hell, I thought my tune was rubbish

Insanely fast lap, congratulations!! I hope I'll get even near that in this couple of weeks 👍

DS3 novice again. I see @@SW__10 is currently 2nd with 1:22.938 so I look forwards to his tune! SW__10 popular FGT tune recently put him on my radar.

Got lucky with a 1:25.973 currently 248th which is 3 seconds of fastest time. This was after lots of 1:26 to 1:28 and 10x more invalid laps. I'm 2 places behind GT_Rajman who won the Seasonal around Matterhorn with NSX LM Prototype Road Car. :D

A big thanks to Ben Millard for his tune for DS3. Fantastic for obtain the gold. And mister MCH:tup: Alias MotorCityHami for his set up of gears ratios on this F3.

Been looking forward to your tune @SW__10

On 1:24.2 for 62nd at the mo. I want to get into the 23's and I'll be happy. My first sector of 22.7/8 is pretty much front running pace, it's just the throttle finesse in the middle of the lap I need to perfect

Never go for better times once I achieve Gold but thought I would try with this one.
Managed 1:27:179 using my own tune, using DS3, auto gears and only ABS 1, and still using X and square for go and stop. Being 50+ old quite pleased so far.
Won't be challenging you fast guys but well done.

What is wrong with me?

I consistently beat my best lap first sector by 0.500, but I cross the line 0.500 late. I'm losing a full second in the last two sectors. Help!

My best so far: 1'25.198.

If you're not already, you can take the 2 right handers in the middle of the lap (where the metal barriers are the apex) flat out if get your line just right.

When I get that right it's worth half a second at least

Well, I took my WSR out for about 5 more laps and finally got gold @ 1:28.880. I don't know why I'm struggling so much with this event. Maybe I'll watch a couple of replays later on and see what I can learn from them.

Man, I just watched Immortal's lap replay. Geez, players of that caliber make it look so easy. So smooth and controlled. Although, in this particular lap a couple of curbs unsettled the car a smidge. I watch these laps over and over, and I think to myself "Okay...I've practically memorized his line through the course, I'm going to go drop an excellent time now!" and I grab control of my steering wheel and I........barely crack gold. LOL

I'm pushing 40 and my health is horrendous, so I like to use those as excuses, but in reality I know it's really a skill to be able to post those top 100 times. It takes a lot of dedication to learn each car and each track so intimately.
