The Volvo P1900 is pretty forgotten. I think it should stay that way.

Edit: Let chuck some of this on too, Mohs Ostentatienne Opera Sedan. Only one 'door' and looks like a Rolls Royce that got bottled in a bar brawl and stitched back together by a blind man.

If you think it shuold've stayed forgetten then why are you bothering to show it to us. It goes against your theory.

Ferarri should have let Colani do all of its road cars. They would have hit 260 mph decades ago...

Never knew about Skoda's attempt to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans until I read about this late last year:

It's the 1957 Skoda 1100 OHC. Gorgeous just like other open-top endurance racers of its decade, but not too ravishingly voluptuous. It's got kind of a rueful-looking face...anyway, perhaps one shouldn't make too many comments about the visuals, it's a race car after all, yet with some aerodynamic properties dictating its lovely exterior lines to a certain extent.

Unfortunately, it finally didn't get to Le Mans for unknown reasons, but it saw success in other races.

Engine is a 1.1-litre inline 4-cylinder, producing 92 bhp, 167 bhp per tonne.

How about the Tornado Talisman?

Tornado Talisman, Front by FurLined, on Flickr

It was a British 2+2 with a lightweight tube frame and fiberglass body, and a small Ford engine. Less than 200 were made before Tornado went out of business. I read a road test in one of the UK classic mags a few months ago, and they loved it. It even beat out the Elan of similar vintage that it was being tested against! I'd love to own one, apparently they're great drivers' cars.

-> Heres something that I stumbled within couple of hours:

 Is that a real car? It looks animated. Maybe it's the background that makes it look like that.

One thing that I've always been surprised wasn't a thing that Saab did was a Suzuki Samurai-style open body for the 900. Instead they just made a regular convertible.

Total missed potential.

My buddy told me about his car. The VW Golf Country. I was shocked that I've never heard of it until today.

It's a flippin Mk2 that's been lifted! I love it!

I don't feel that enough people know about the Italdesign Columbus. I saw this in a Concept Cars buck when I was 7 and it blew my mind.

Central mounted driver's seat? That's brilliant. You can smack your kids in the back seat with both hands instead of having to stretch all the way around.
