Racing rules and treatment of race incidents

We apply the general OLR-rules that you can find here.
To put it simply: behave in the races as if you were in a real world car race.
Car contact incidents are part of racing and will always happen. Nobody is perfect.
Everybody makes involuntary driving errors. The important thing is to stay fair.

Here is the procedure to follow in case of an important incident:
-In case of an incident, always first look at the replay
- If after seeing the replay, you still think another driver has disadvantaged you, first contact him by PM.
- If that does not permit to resolve the incident, send a PM to the race steward (host).
- Steward will review the replay and if necessary take a race-decision.
- Never accuse another driver publicly, it is forbidden by WSCC and GTP-policy and can lead to definitive exclusion.

In order to keep informed of all changes and practical information,
please follow on the forum the information updates and recent news of the races you signed-up for,
using the the thread tools (subscription).

Just what I've been looking for - a week night GMT based series :)

What would the regs for the group N class be? just that HP/Kg limit - all other mods, combos (rm / racecar ) open?
That Event and the 2 on Weds look good for me :)

Are there still going to be GT300/500 races on Thursdays? I'm very interested in that, those are my favorite cars. 👍

GT300&GT500: This competition may probably start next thursday. Gippone/Gprili, who will host this championship, has professional obligations this weekend and will create the forum page next monday. To let things advance meanwhile, I will create later this evening a sign-up page in the social club space.

Hi turbo, I think you have Thursday's Super GT300 race listed wrong in the above post. The first race should be at Suzuka unless they changed it and haven't updated the thread. (at least I hope so or I've been practicing on the wrong track :ill:)

You're right. Just edited the calendar. Correction done and added the details for the sunday race.

News flash:

It has been a good weekend for WSCC, we got some new members and sign-ups: members are now up to 36 + 3 who have not yet accepted their member invitation.

The four competitions for this week all have at least 12 sign-ups.

Only the Tuesday evening-format doesn't yet have enough sign-ups to start. We'll wait a while. If situation stays as it is, we will replace it by something else.

Newsflash:

- 42 members, 3 invitations pending
- RM wednesday grid is complete
- TCTC grid on sunday is also complete
- a race incident stewards commission has been created (see club space)
- Given the success of our Le Mans Race yesterday, a championship will start next week. Thread will be updated this evening.
- With a championship on Monday and not enough sign-ups for Tuesdays, we will (for the moment) use Tuesday for our single events. I will prepare something this evening.

Concretely, for next Tuesday, I will try the following:

- combining Le Mans (many fans), Group N, Vintage and the time trial we did during the PSN-outage, you become this:

-A one hour vintage endurance on Le Mans without chicanes (like in the past),
- with the car that won the race in 1952, the Mercedes 300SL (road version of the W194)
- in Group N Specifications: 246 HP - 1200 kg - Sports Tyres

That is pretty close to the 1950's race car.

Ah! Sounds very interesting! 👍

Updated post 1 (Monday - Tuesday)

- Posted new thread for next Tuesday vintage Le Mans (specifications changed a bit after testing)

Don't worry if I don't answer your messages: I'm absent until thursday evening.
